Tonight I have more carrot, onions, tomatoes and zucchini planned.
I find keeping to my calorie goal easier with fruit and veggies, getting enough fibre I guess.

Had salad for lunch - bell peppers, golden raisins, Craisin, onion, and sun-dried tomatoes. Supper I had a side bowl of strawberries and banana. Having an apple for the evening snack.
I've got 1 serving of strawberries left from the 4# I bought 10ish days ago.0 -
Just steamed squash today but I have cauliflower steaming for tomorrow's mock mash potatoes lol0

Well... 2 T raisins in my oatmeal and about a pinch of grilled onion on my sausage sandwich. Not too good today...tomorrow is another opportunity to succeed!0

Backwards day (compared to my usual) yesterday:
Breakfast was my usual dinner (vegetables were onions, eggplant, summer squash, and carrots, had a peach on the side, also had pork and corn).
Lunch was big salad with mix of greens (including spinach and kale) and broccoli, among other things.
Dinner was my usual breakfast smoothie (lately fruit and veg content is melon, peach, cucumber, kale and I'm trying different fresh herbs (anise-hyssop last night and this morning). On the side cherries, a fresh tomato, and some radishes.
Later in the evening I had a plum.
Tons of fruit lately -- I think I'm getting the "better eat it before it's gone" feeling, since I love summer fruits and by fall most of this will be replaced by apples, which aren't the same for me.1 -
Finished off the strawberries!
Had a Cora's style fruit and yogurt bowl - Greek yogurt with an apple, golden raisins, Craisins, pecans, hemp seeds, a banana, and 181 grams of strawberries. I would've had granola too, but I'm saving for supper.

I was bad yesterday. I only had some carrot sticks for snack and some carrot onion and celery cooked into my millet but that was only about 2 veggies all day.I was wondering why I was feeling a bit blah today.
Double order of broccoli for lunch and chicken with a salad and side of cooked veggies for dinner. I will probably do an orange for snack.0 -
Yesterday I had beans, onions, carrots, garlic and peppers. Nothing yet today but I have a salmon salad with mixed greens, onions, celery and peppers waiting in the fridge for lunch. Not sure what dinner will be yet.
Oops, forgot about the apple I had yesterday.0 -
I was planning on watermelon today, but when I cut it open it had gone bad.
Boo! I'll have to head to the grocery store tomorrow.
So, today will probably be limited to a Good Seed curried sweet potato patty (man, are the spices strong - probably won't buy this again), tomato soup, edamame and maybe some Brussels sprouts.0 -

That's me, too: Cherries, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, fresh figs - get them while they last! The potassium will settle back to normal come Halloween...1 -
Finished off supper with veggies that aren't veggies - corn and potato. Finally got my baked potato.0

Canada's RDA guides for fruits and vegetables includes corn and potatoes both. 1/2 c is one serving. Good thing too because I had both today. I cut the corn off a cob and stirred it into my fried egg this morning, and had potato and mixed greens with dinner, and fresh peaches for dessert. Six of my recommended seven servings today.

I have a 9 month old baby who is learning to eat solid food. As part of his meal,he can manage half a banana; I get the other half. When he's big enough to eat a whole banana in one sitting, I get a whole one too.
Today, I had raspberries (with Greek yogurt and honey) and cherry tomatoes as part of lunch and a huge pile of kale chips for dinner. Also had an apple as a snack.1 -
Yesterday's fruits and veg:
Breakfast was smoothie with melon, peach, cucumber, spinach and kale, plus some cherries. Anise-hyssop in the smoothie again, really like this.
Lunch included roasted cauliflower and carrots, plus some sauteed spinach and zucchini.
Dinner was stir fry of onions, eggplant, green beans and peppers (but with corn instead of rice) and cilantro (which is delicious and those who don't like it are wrong!). ;-)1 -
I am traveling for work this week and I feel like I always eat so much fruit when I travel.
Yesterday: Pineapple, strawberries, apple, orange, cantaloupe, honeydew, blueberries, green peppers, peas, tomato, carrots.1 -
Today, an apple, a banana, and a tiny amount of bell peppers. Does the strawberry crisp bar count?1

Wow! Nicely done!
I got 6 of my suggested 7 servings (Cdn RDA). Leftover broccoli and pepper onion mushroom stir fry mixed in with my eggs in the morning (2 servings), and a plateful of fresh vegetables at a restaurant (4 servings). More than I can ever remember being served while dining out. They all came from the restaurant owner's own farm to boot. At least a cup of green beans, and a cup of a corn/peas/peppers/onion medley. The best part was that the peas in the medley were, what I would have previously considered to be overripe, large and slightly bitter, but mixed with the sweet corn they had a sophisticated taste. At a certain point I turn my nose up at the "overripe" peas in my garden, but in the future I'm going to try mixing them with sweet corn as this chef did.

I got my 7 servings in today, so I'm back posting despite the fact that no one else is. Tomato and avocado with eggs at breakfast, a Caesar salad and corn, onions and red pepper in my tuna salad at lunch, two peaches for snack, and broccoli, green beans and mushrooms in my vegetable pad Thai at dinner.0
