30 day plank challenge starting 5th Sept

I am in! I have been looking at these forums for over a year now, may as well join something. I am certain the planks will not be the real challenge, instead doing something for 30 days without missing a day will be the challenge(i am super lazy!). Maybe it's the fact I spent 25 years obese(extra weight carried) or/and that I have always down moderately physical work but 20 seconds was not a challenge. For day one I decided to push it. Did 75 seconds, could have done more but at that point was beginning to feel it in my lower back. Felt it in my core until about 50 seconds then the lower back. May need to work on form. So in 30 days I can say I completed something and hopefully have good plank form.
NOW do I press "post reply" making me feel committed or just say ehhhh? If your reading this you know what I chose.1 -
Day 2 done!! Found it a bit easier than yesterday - although it did have the added complication of 2 cats wanting their breakfast making total pains of themselves lol!!!! Good luck for today guys!! x2

Hey I am new here and just found this link. I definately need a work out challenge. Coincidently I showed my 12 year old son the plank last night and urged him to hold 10 seconds, he was challenged :-) Then my hubby planked and said "wow this is hard!"3

@stillwaters6615 - great!!! yeah it's not easy is it!! I am still having a kitten fit at the thought of holding one for 5 mins lol!!!! hopefully if we all perservere we can all achieve it together!! welcome to the challenge x2

I'm very proud of myself for actually making it through day 3. Not that it's especially hard yet, I just have a very hard time sticking with anything!2
