Hi Pandora - the above link should help you with the plank technique - the challenge is on page 1 of this feed - hope that helps - if not just ask0 -
Day 14 done!

Dy 16 done - but not in one go - still struggling - it's my arms not the core - not giving up though - will keep going even if I need to break the total down into sets I will still hit the goal for each day!!

Day 16 done 120 seconds. @DebbieNeedham1 try dropping your knees while maintaining the strength in your core. You are done no soooo awesome!!!1
-
@Joanna2012B - WOW you are doing AMAZING!!! yeah that's good thinking - I must remember that I have ME and am not as strong as I was - I need to take it steady0
-
@Joanna2012B - took your advice - managed 90 secs in one - then a 2nd of 30 to make it to 120 total - so day 17 done.. really felt it in my core - so going to continue like this to build up my strength.. will work at building up my time - total of 150 secs tomoz!! Bring it on lol!!!1

likewise!!! think we might be the only ones left in the challenge lol!!! Whereabouts are you?? I am in South West Wales UK..0 -
LOL...I was thinking the same thing today!! I am in Ontario, Canada!!0
-
ah cool - never been to Canada - or America for that matter lol...0
-
Well I have never been to the UK!!0
-
Day 18 - 120 secs in one go 3/4 plank - plus 30 secs - so total 150 secs....0
-
Day 18 1 90 second and 1 60 second for a total of 150! Yikes that was a tough one!
Good job @DebbieNeedham1 !!!1 -
Well done @Joanna2012B !! that's amazing!!!0
-
I have swapped the rest day today for tomorrow. So Day 19/20 done - 90 sec plus 60 secs 3/4 planks....0
-
Started late but finished up through day 7. I have some catching up to do. I did 43 seconds on the first one, then got a phone call. Next one was 167 seconds. I think 300 seconds at one go is going to be very hard. This is a good challenge because I have a foot/knee injury.2
-
Welcome @dykask and well done!!! if you need to break them down then do so - so long as we hit the target seconds in total - otherwise its crazy as the minutes buil up lol!! And it's better to keep going than give up!!! bring on the planks he he1
-
@DebbieNeedham1 good job!!! I didn't realize it was rest day until after my plank! I did 1 very shaky 150 second plank!1
-
Welcome @dykask !!!0
-
@Joanna2012B - WOW go you!!! that's amazing!!! so proud of u!!! rest day for both of us tomorrow!!1
-
I did 5 more days worth today bringing me up to day 12.. A 2:06 plank and a 2:10 plank. Tomorrow I'll start just doing one plank for each day and try catch up with two or three planks a day. Next one is 90 seconds ... I'm not worried until I get to the 150 second one. Hopefully that will be easier in a few days.1
-
@DebbieNeedham1 Yay!!! Rest day and I am taking it today!!
Way to go @dykask! I did a very shaky 15 seconds yesterday....it was NOT pretty...lol!1 -
@Joanna2012B - yeah me too!!! full rest day from all exercise - rest days are just as important as the exercise. Back on it tomorrow!! Also ended up being very naughty last night - a night out with a few too many beers!! oooopppsss he he - It was fun though - I havent been out for ages!! So am suffering on the sofa today lol!!! Enjoy your day x0
-
@DebbieNeedham1 I am glad you had fun!!! You've been working so hard you deserve it! I am a fitness junkie I only take days of when my body tells me too which is not very often. I do have active rest days though where I might only go for bike ride or a walk but I move everyday! Do you ever do yoga?0
-
@Joanna2012B I have started the 30 day yoga challenge - but I am taking it very slowly lol - never done yoga before. Done day 1 and then 22 mins of day 2 - so need to have another go at that - but not today lol!!!0
-
@DebbieNeedham1 I hope you learn to love it as much as I do!!!!! It has helped me in my fitness goals as well as everyday life!0
-
@Joanna2012B - You have started, not you just have to keep at it. I hit my limit today so it is going to be hard for me from here.
Today I did 3 more days, but in 2 planks. First one was 185 seconds, but the second one was only 91 seconds. Even my arms are a little sore now. Tomorrow will day #16 ... ugh. I think I just have to go one day at a time from here.
