    Got a nice paddle in yesterday though I didn't feel much like being on the water due to some lower back pain. Today did an extra long session on the glider while watching a movie.

    7 September: 2.75 miles SUP
    8 September: 8.17 miles glider

    I'm finally starting to feel human again!! I'm not sure what happened there, but I was feeling flu-ish for a few days and then all of a sudden I developed a massive rash which engulfed me. It grew and spread and went from blotchy to all red everywhere, and drove me absolutely crazy with itching and pain.

    I visited the Dr three times as this rash just kept getting bigger and more painful. I spent a night standing because it hurt too much to lie down, and finally on my last visit, the Dr prescribed some pretty strong medication which knocked me out for several days while the rash ran its course.

    I've been tested for rubella ... and that came up clear. They're best guess is, simply, some sort of viral infection. How odd.

    Anyway, I've just got a bit of it left on my feet and ankles but the rest of me is almost back to normal again. Still very tired, but that walk today felt so good. :)

    Nope, not shingles. Thank goodness. I couldn't imagine shingles covering me from my head, under my hair down to my toes. Shingles is usually in a relatively limited area.

    Just a "viral infection", apparently.

    Got caught up with work stuff yesterday and then opted to run to the store for food rather than workout last night. Did a super long session today to make up for it. Saw a bunch of dolphins and stingrays today. Was glorious!

    10 - not feeling so good....

    Machka - hope you feel well soon. (Saw your bike at wedding photos on another thread - lovely! Reminded me how biking compatability was an important part of my choice of hubby too..thank you.)

    Biatti - i tried directly messaging you on 'graded exercise' twice but both times it got lost... Can I suggest you either google the term or use the MFP search engine instead (you'll see posts by me there, I just checked). But it is a technique for a graded, measured and non-stress to body increase in fitness which is medically backed. The antidote to 'couch to 5k in five minutes'.. Hope this helps! It certainly helped me...
