Was under my interim weight goal (165lbs) all week. My weekly average was 163.6. Next goal is 155lbs. Now just need to tape myself to get ND. Going by picture comparison I'm guessing around 21%.
If I remember correctly, the last time I weighed 163 lbs was 2004~2005.
I'm fitting back into some clothes I have from 15 years ago.5 -
Well done guys1

I'm 59, want to be healthy! I've gained about 20 lbs. in the last year, stopped walking/jogging and eating out of control. My goals are to be able to travel when I retire and just live a healthy lifestyle and hopefully to some stress relief. I'm in a high stress job, so the exercise and being healthier help. Started back walking 1 week ago and plan to get back into jogging. Diet definitely better and staying on track. Nice to see all of you 40 and older cool kids on here. If anyone wants to friend me feel free. I'm trying to be more accountable. Everyone have a great day!

Dropped below 90kgs this morning, also officially back in One-derland. Might not sound like a big deal but to me, psychologically at least, it is.8

Lost 4.4 lbs this week my first week by starting back walking 30-60 minutes daily and maintaining approximately a 1200 cal diet and being accountable every day and logging. Trying to lose some weight before I go to New Orleans at the end of October, get healthier and lose 20 lbs I gained in the past year, but also, goal is go get below 150. Glad to meet everyone!

Great to see a bunch of newbie Cool Kids....welcome all.
@ExquisitieRN -Way to get the ball rolling!
@Beeps 2011: (Lift/weigh/work/repeat) Hammered it!
I'm moving into a new off season training cycle and I typically try to evaluate and improve the mix of foods in my diet and examine the natural supplements I take at this time of year.
I currently take Cod Liver Oil ( Omega 3 - heart/brain health) and Spirulina/Chlorella and/or Wheatgrass tablets (Chlorophyll - calcium/phosphorus for cell health ) daily, as well as Flax/Hemp/Chia seeds occasionally, often in smoothies or on salads. The other food/mineral element I'm considering is Magnesium, either from foods such as cacao nibs or shredded coconut, or via absorption through the skin from Epson Salt soaks.
So, I have two questions for the Cool Ones:
1) Does anyone use Epson Salt baths as a way to get magnesium into your system, and if so, how often?
2) Do you feel the relaxation effects on muscles when you soak or bath in it?
Of course, I would love to hear any other suggestions you might have around dietary improvements you've made...... including tips on how to stay away from the d*mn peanut butter at night!

Hey cool kids...trying to get back on track with my weekly workouts and finally got everything in for my typical Monday - 30 minutes on the glider (2.13 miles); 4 minutes of planks and instead of doing an inverted pyramid circuit just did 20 ea of 6 chosen body weight exercises. Got some SUP in on Saturday (though it was only 3.13 miles), and hope to go out tomorrow morning for some more paddling. Have a 4 mile race in a few weeks, so need to get my butt in gear for it.2

@Djproulx, I use Epsom Salts, but not as a supplement, just to relieve soreness. In fact, I didn't think about that health benefit, thanks!4

Good to know that it actually reduces soreness, since I'm always looking for ways to improve muscle recovery.1
