@agbmom556: Sounds great, though I"m guessing that I'd have to surrender my "man card" if I added any scented oils.
@gojaqs: That picture says there's another 100 in your near term future.
@MJFSH: Yes, agree, rolling is a necessary discomfort. Rolling the quads is particularly painful, so I'm looking to supplement with something less invasive.2 -
42 and like Garth Brooks says, "I'm much too young to feel this damn old." Started (again) 51 days ago at my all-time heaviest (352 pounds) and am down to 328. I follow the Autoimmune Protocol diet which is like a more restricted Paleo diet. I did this to reduce overall inflammation that typically is caused by my psoriasis. I kicked all grains, refined sugars, processed foods, all booze and alcohol, certain foods (nightshades, nuts, seeds, etc.) most dairy (except for a splash in my coffee). Quitting booze was easier than I thought but staying off coffee was a miserable experience. I'll quit it if I absolutely have to. Been walking everyday and am about to start strength training but don't even know where to start. Thanks for starting the 40+ club.3

@Djproulx - run the salt bath in your bath tub, add scented oil, invite your loved one and share wine while you soak your feet. Win! Win!
@agbmom556 - great idea. I clearly need to expand my thinking beyond the "Epsom salt only" approach.1 -
That's a GREAT photo, gojaqs!!0

Worked late last night and up early - had NO zip or pep for a workout...just worked all day, instead. So, I am zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
BUT I GOT MY HORMONES TODAY!!
So, HRT-virginity ends TONIGHT....cannot WAIT! BOOM!1 -
47 here. I just recently came back to MFP after an extended absence. Almost at the half century mark and decided it's time (way past time) to get my butt in gear. Came back in at just under 250. My goal is 100, give or take, gone. Not really looking at a time frame since I'm just gettin' back on the horse so to speak. I've been trying to walk regularly at a pretty good clip. I can't go very far just yet but hey, it's forward motion. I've also been doing body weight here and there to try and get some strength training in. We'll see how it goes.4

Have been riding my bike and going to the gym as usual the last few day!4

I just got a new personal training client yesterday: retired in May and decided it's time to get in shape to have a longer, happier life going forward. start where you are, when you can.5

If you like dance fitness, I normally workout with Dance Fitness with Jessica; but, last night I found someone different to workout with, The Fitness Marshall. It was fun and crazy; really made me sweat. You can check him and Dance Fitness with Jessica out on YouTube.2

Got in a decent paddle today despite the tide being super low and getting my board's fin stuck at one point. Still got in over three miles. Wanted to go further, but I knew the other routes would be even more shallow, so I ended my paddle after an hour. Interestingly I saw a ton of large fish today. Guess they knew the fishermen couldn't get them due to the shallow water so they had a free for all swim. Must go out earlier tomorrow so I am not out during the super low tide again. Still a good day.3
