I'd say 10# per inch on size but to go from 14 to 12 (2 inches) 20# I dont wear my clothes tight so this is what works for me0

Just depends on where I'm losing from. 30 to drop from 26 to 24. 5 to go from 24 to 22.0

I'm not sure how many it took to lose my first size because I never got new jeans, but it's taken 50 to lose 3 sizes.0

It took gaining 30lb for my pants to stop buttoning and I suspect I will need to lose it all before they fit again. I'm down 14lb of that and they are still uncomfortably tight.0

10-150

I've lost 22 pounds and went from a 12P to a 10P.0

I lost 12 and noticed I could get into my size 20 instead of 22. I feel like I need another 15 off to fit into the size 18 jeans I have waiting in the wings.0

A LOT. No matter what I weigh I'm always a size 2. I could never be a 0, not with my hips. And while now that I'm "heavier" I still am not quite filled out enough to be a 4. Then again my weight range is only 10-15 lbs which I'm trying to get to the opposite end of XD0

This is awesome. How did you lose the inches, even in maintenance? Do you use a free weight program? I haven't incorporated weights into my Spin routine but think I should. It's just intimidating to me. I'm 50 yo, 5'5" and currently a size 8. Still have 5 to 10 lbs to lose.

Yeah, super freaking irritating.0 -
I bought my size 10 jeans at 187 lbs. Today I weigh 167 and just ordered size 8. I think at this point further weight loss will note appreciably change that because my hip bones stick out farther than my stomach.0

Closer to 20 for me1

Very little. The smaller I've gotten, the less difference there is in sizes.
I'm in a size 0 now. There was only about 5-7 pounds difference between now and being in a size 2.0 -

CW 259 (and losing!)
I lost 38 lbs = 1 pant size.
I don't think anyone even noticed :-(

I know it's more than most but I recon about 20lbs! I'm a uk 14 just now and I know to be in a 12 is another stone and half1

Quite a few for me!
I'm 193lbs right now, and a UK size 14. I would, however, say that it's a tight 14.
I need to get to around 168lbs to get back into my size 12 jeans, which is about 25lbs! :O
For reference, I'm 5'10" and I carry most of my weight on my bottom half.0 -

Around 20 lbs for me..0

Ive lost around 30 since Jan and went down 3 sizes so 10 pound a pant size would be about right0
-
I've lost 26lb and went from a size 8 to a size 2.0
-
down 37 pounds.. still can fit same pants..0

Took me 70 lbs to go from a size 26 to a 20.0
-
22 pounds and I'm still in a size 14 (although they fit better now)0

A pant size? A lot! I've released 70 pounds, and my pant size went from 24/26 to a 20. Just 4 pant sizes. My 20s are now big in the waist (which is awesome!), but my lower half is large, so I need to large size (I could do an 18, but 20s provide the lower body room that I need). So I imagine that I will need to lose much more (at least 20) to drop to a comfortable 18, maybe a 16. I try not to think about it because it gets so damned depressing. Trust the process....0

It really varies from person to person. When I first started losing weight I started out in a size 24. After losing 65 pounds I was down one to a 22 but it was a loose 22. Tried to pull off a 20 but nope it was uncomfortably tight.0
