I needed to find something to occupy myself while watching television (other than eating!) so I designed and made this Harry Potter baby blanket for my daughter's pregnant friend. Have to say, it came out pretty good and I found that it's pretty impossible to knit with my hand in the potato chip bag!34 -
Yesterday I ate a big lunch/brunch with lots of meat/vegetables. I was still kind of full at dinner time and so only ate a granola bar and some cheese.14

I had an excellent binge tonight! Chips and salsa, pasta salad, deer sausage, burger, hot dog, corn dog, beer, and ice cream. The victory is that I'm not depressed about it. It was just one day and I'm happy to know that I will be back on track tomorrow.
I got plenty of calories between the two days, so I wasn't starving myself. I would not consider starving myself a victory at all.

Beautiful blanket! A hundred years ago (okay, maybe 33) I quit smoking and learned how to crochet to keep my hands busy. I just kept making squares like some crazy woman! But it worked lol

May sound silly, but this morning I bent down to pick up a couple of leaves on the mat that came in on my shoe from walking the dog. Three months ago, I would have stepped over them and pretended not to notice :-)39

Sure. What size would you want? This one is baby-sized (about 31 inches square). I would probably charge $35 for it--more if a bigger size.1 -
Yesterday while making dinner I was doing air squats for a challenge. My youngest daughter walks in and exclaimed in a very excited voice "Hey mom you aren't really fat anymore!" Words from the mouth of babes. She just turned 6 so hasn't quite figured out how to censor herself. Who would think I would be doing squats while making dinner, let alone not be really fat anymore. Now, I am just fat on my way to medium.32

Last week I went "shopping" in my closet and dresser, and found a few pairs of pants and several tops that fit me again!
Also, for the past 6 weeks or so I've been doing deadlifts, squats, push-ups, etc, and now I feel stronger. I can also feel some good solid muscles in my thighs, and a bit less flab on top of them!13 -
Fitting into a pair of pants I bought on sale "for when I lose some weight". Still far from goal but it's nice to have some transitional clothes for the journey.18

Bought a pair of work pants a few weeks ago (junior size 11) that barely fit and now they're a bit loose on me.15

took the kids on a hike yesterday. The 3 year old ran out of gas about 1/2 through the trails so she rode on my shoulders the entire rest of the hike and the mile walk back home.....the whole time I kept thinking, surely you will get tired soon.....but I never did. Feels amaaaazzzzzing.33

Had to have blood work done today. This is usually an unpleasant affair for me--every phlebotomist says the same thing--"your veins are really deep." I often get jabbed multiple times, and 1 out of 3 times I get passed to another technician with more experience.
Today, as usual I wasn't looking. I heard the tech say "Ahh" then she was done. I said, "Any problems?" She said, "Nope! There was a nice juicy vein laying right on top!"
WHAT?? Then I told her I had lost 95 lbs and she said that'd do it. If there was no other benefit to losing weight, this alone would probably make it worthwhile for me, because it is normally a very uncomfortable event--and today was...nothing!44 -
My clothes are fitting better! I haven't lost a size or anything, but that overstuffed-sausage feeling is gone.29

Seeing muscle definition in my arms finally. Still some fat but it's a good sign that I'm getting closer to my goals!19

Got called a glamourpuss today! Also tiny
I feel like I still have a little longer to go (around 7-9 pounds) but it's so nice to hear comments like this. Plus they sound so surprised when I say I still eat chocolate everyday after I pinched a cake leftover from another meeting and ate it in front of them!22 -
I realized today that all of my clothing (scrubs, pajamas, underwear, jeans, coats) aren't uncomfortable anymore. It's getting colder here, so more layers and a heavy coat while driving and I don't feel like a busted can of biscuits!
Also, I used to come home from work and immediately get into my "stretchy pants" you know, the pants you put on after a big meal? Now I come home and either stay in my scrubs until bed or workout leggings.
Small thoughts I know but truly a big deal realizing how miserable I felt.24 -
I know this is small but, a serving of cereal actually filling me up. I usually eat a double serving of cereal as a snack but since I've been eating less, I can actually eat it for breakfast and feel like its a real meal.24

I have to keep crossing my legs as I find just sitting normally in a chair is now uncomfortable. Used to be exact opposite not so long ago.16

My bra cups becoming so roomy a boob broke free :-) Need to go shopping.35
