I wanna join the 100 day exercise challenge!!!
I have a few questions for everyone out there..
How many days do you guys do cardio and for how long? How many days do you do strength training? I need new routines!!!
Fitness blender, check them out online! SO many awesome routines. I've exercised 260 days in a row now (Completed this challenge twice consecutively), I just make sure to read my body and alternate what I'm doing. So if I do legs one day, I do something else the next. If I'm feeling really fatigued, I give a day of stretching and some walking.0 -
Hey everyone,
Day 4- 64 minutes Walking
Not much else. I will try for more Strength training as I go along0 -
Cardio: I raked leaves for 1 hr. today.
Enough leaves to last me through December. And then...0 -
Day 6. Legs and Shoulders workout -30 minutes. Walk-30 minutes.0
-
I will be going back to day one, but it's not really day one because I have benefited from each of the three tries at getting to 100.
I was at a client Christmas party on Friday - I had a lovely time, gained 3 lbs (not sure how!) and failed to work out the next day . But it's still all good, because life isn't perfect and I'm not perfect and I still had 55 days of working out daily before that. I'm not sure if I will restart today or just wait until tomorrow - it's remarkably cold here so just leaving the house is a challenge.
Hope everyone else is doing GREAT and having FUN with it2 -
I'm feeling much better...been sick with a bad cold for a week. I hope to get day 1 of exercise in tomorrow.2

I would like to start the 100 day excercize challenge.1

Hey everyone,

Day 5- 120 mins Walking at a brisk pace1 -
I'm in! Will get in 30 mins on the stationary bike before bed tonight. Seems crazy that I'll sit on the couch and watch TV for hours and not just use my exercise bike while watching.1
-
Day 7. Rest day, so no weight lifting. Walked for 40 minutes.1

I used to do the same thing and the bike was being used to hang clothes. Then one day I figured let me start using this bike while I watch TV, now I do it almost everyday.2 -
Hi everyone! I kill me. I browsed MFP for inspiration on the weekend and found this challenge, decided it - like the folks doing it- is awesome and swore I would begin on Sunday but felt I shouldn't post until I had something to report Sunday evening.... and then promptly forgot to start tracking myself here. DOH! My commitment is to do some sort of mindful fitness related activity everyday, and my hope is to get a few new like minded MFP pals. So!

Oops- steps for day 3 were 10,088. And now for today: Day 4 10 minute warm up cardio then 50 minutes weights (back/ biceps/ forearms) It seems odd that I am already seeing a change in my mindset: thoughts of " ach, skip it today" are followed immediately with " ha! And give up my streak!? No WAY!" So glad I am doing this with you folks1

Apparently I made it to 265 days exercising! However I will need to start at day one again tomorrow. Today was an emotionally draining day and I just can't exercise.0

No worries. Those things happen. I was only at 45 days, and then I got sick. You'll be back to that streak in no time!

Thanks @lamlam2013
I love this challenge. It's kept me motivated to keep active. I've been at it since the beginning and have finished it a total of 3 times out of 5 attempts. I'm not giving up! Actually, I'm a little excited to start at day one again. I love seeing those digits go up, up, up!

@quiltlovinlisa - I love that positive attitude. I remind myself that every day is a victory and it doesn't matter which day you are on. I am traveling later this month and have my doubts about being able to work out for at least 2 days, but it actually doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is getting back up again or back at it again each time you fail/stop. My calendar this month says "Failure isn't the opposite of success, it's part of success".
