Rest them on someone else's love handles? (sorry, couldn't resist. I have an odd sense of humour).
Well done on getting rid of them though, mine are still lingering . . .20 -

That's an amazing cake. Did you bake it?-1 -

Aw, thank you - I did indeed bake/make it. The models (caterpillar, butterfly and cucoon) took hours to make, the actual cake and putting it together a lot less time. I didn't eat any of it, I left that to the children
I've just done an "M&Ms" one for my daughter's 4th birthday; these are the models that went on top (each model took an hour):
And this is one I made for my teenage daughter's friend who was off to study medicine at university:
I enjoy the decorating but not so much the baking (I'm not great at baking but getting better). Not a fan of cake either so I don't bother eating any (rather have an apple or an orange to be honest).

After losing 140lbs It feels amazing to not have to worry about if i will fit in a chair or a booth!
Clothes shopping is much more fun when you have more choices and are not just picking what FITS but more focused on what you actually LIKE!
That you will still see yourself as overweight, no matter how much weight you lose. It is harder to adjust than i ever imagined.

Yes, the standing-up-what-to-do-with-your-hands is an issue I've had to deal with myself. What is comfortable to me is to cross my arms on my chest. However that appears to some people as too defensive a posture, so I avoid that.
The option that works for me is a modified parade rest pose, a military pose where the feet are shoulder width apart with hands behind the back, at the small of the back, with the right hand holding the left hand's wrist. Officially the hands are intertwined only at the thumbs. I find it more comfortable to have the right hand hold the left hand. I can stand that way for an hour or so.
I also put mine in the back pockets of my jeans.
Or, you could hold a hydration container of some sort in one and a 10lb weight in the other and do curls, then switch hands. And then do triceps lifts from behind the head, and then flys or arm extensions....

No one tells you how absolutely cute workout clothes can be and how awesome it is to buy brand new running shoes.22

No one tells you that there will be times when you wake up terrified that you've gained all the weight back....17

You've got this far with drive and focus. It won't let you go back, either.11 -
Your shoes may no longer fit.
Don't be too quick to resize your wedding bands, most jewelers won't do it more than twice.
Find and make friends with your local consignment shop, don't splurge too much on clothes until you reach (and have stayed for a while at) goal.
Some of your friends and family members will not be supportive.
It's not a linear process (especially for us girls)! Some days/weeks you will not lose anything and that's okay. Stick to your plan.
Great response, I have lost 150 pounds so far. Second hand clothing shops are your friend when on a significant weightloss journey. I look forward to when I hit my goal weight and can splurge on new outfits!
Also, it is unfortunately true how some people I have considered close friends or my family members have not been supportive. It is almost like they preferred the unhappier version of me.

Hurtful, isn't it? My mum frequently compliments me on my weight loss but my dad hasn't said a singe word about it (and it is VERY noticeable, nearly half of my starting body weight - UK size 28/30 to UK size 8/10). And yet a random stranger whose house I pass on my walks/bike rides also complimented me as she's noticed me "shrinking". People are very odd. I think that those who ignore it are either too sensitive to say anything, scared of hurting you or are just jealous. Probably the latter though, if I'm honest.

Could be this. I have a friend who got very defensive when I commented on her weight loss. She lost about 2stone (28lb) and when I mentioned how good she looked, she went off on a "Well you must have thought I was a fat cow before" rant, so I learned to never mention it to her again. Even now when she has another stone gone I don't say a word in case I upset her again.

That people treat you sooooo differently. It's weird, you don't even realise how badly you had been treated until people seemingly suddenly treat you extremely well. Be it male or female, majority of people are so much nicer to me now.11

I have had dreams that I have gained it all back- then I wake up in kind of a panic and then think, "Oh, okay, the weight is still gone. Whew." Lol.7 -

why is this?? I see it too and I wonder if it is my perception of things or if people are truly nicer.6 -
