I'm looking for some friends that would be on a diet like this so I can get recipes ideas. I'm having a hard time finding things I can eat easily during the day. I can not have any sugar not even diet pop or crystal light products. Hoping someone else is on this crazy diet.

Diet pop has no sugar.
So you are going to avoid all fruits and vegetables?15 -
You're eating no fruits and vegetables? WHY? Vegetables, especially, are FABULOUS.17
-
Why on earth? This sounds utterly miserable.
Is there a medical reason for this diet?16 -
Are you following a Ketogenic diet ?3

^I'm with everyone else...
So your diet consists of meat and fat?
If you're having a hard time, you don't have to do this. All that is needed for weight loss is a calorie deficit.9 -
Please don't do something this restrictive unless medically recommended. Keep in mind this is a lifestyle, not a diet. Do you really plan on never eating sugar or carbs again your entire life? I have lost 55 pounds in the last 12 months by simply eating within the calorie range that my fitness pal gave me. This program works and you do not have to sacrifice the things that you like in order to lose weight.24

Are you going to do this forever? Because if not, once you add sugar or any type back to your diet, your glycogen reduced cells will replenish and weight could easily go up 5-10lbs. Glycogen is stored from the break down of any sugars and is NEEDED for physical activity.

I think most foods contain at least small amounts of sugar..fruits and vegetables included. Is there a specific reason you are doing this, OP? There are much MUCH easier, more comfortable ways to lose weight.7

Have to avoid dairy, as well - even full-fat cottage cheese contains 5g carbs (4 of which is sugar) per 113g serving..1

Bacon, always go with bacon29

meat.
eggs.
fish.
drink oil.
sounds delightful.10 -
Um...kind of the reason for this site is AVOIDING crazy diets...
I mean, it's one thing if it's medically necessary to avoid all sugar, carbs, and dairy. In which case I hope your medical professional has given you nurtrional guidance or a reference to a nutritionist. Or maybe there's a thread here with people who have diets like yours. But since you haven't named the specific diet I'm dubious.
This site is based on calorie reduction...with guidelines on nutritional macros (fiber, sodium, protein, etc.) to aim for...and promoting it in a SUSTAINABLE way.8 -

Sounds utterly miserable and unsustainable. What's the reason you're going this route?1 -
Hi Microwoman, You are now on a ketogenic diet. Congratulations! Have a look at diet doctor.com for guidance and amazing recipes. Care MUST be taken on a low-carb diet to eat sufficient fats (for energy), and sufficient sodium (salt). Very low carb levels mean we flush a lot of excess fluids out of our system, thereby losing sodium. With insufficient sodium in the blood, we die. It's THAT important. Once you get a handle on this, you will love it. It's DELICIOUS. You CAN eat cream and butter, and olive oil. Yoghurt and cheese are fine, since the cultures used in making these products have already dealt with any carbs, leaving none for you! And BTW, above-ground vegetables have little carbs, and should be okay for you to eat.
I wish you well, but DO THE RESEARCH for your health's sake. Jeanieneni17 -
OP, foods are generally made up of carbs, proteins and fats. Most foods contain 2 or even 3 of these macronutrients. The only things that would contain zero carbs are animal proteins (chicken, beef, fish, etc.) or pure fats like lard, vegetable oils, etc. Vegetables contain carbs. And veggies and fruits and dairy all contain sugar.
I wonder if you might be trying to avoid the "white" carbs, otherwise known as the "carby" carbs...white rice, white bread, white potatoes, etc.? And are you avoiding the "added" sugars? That would make more sense. Just be aware that 1. it's a good idea because the whole grain versions of these things contain much more nutrients and fiber. Except potatoes. There is nothing wrong with white potatoes. But also 2. be aware that along with those extra nutrients, whole grain foods often have more calories, and can sometimes have added sugars to disguise the "healthier" taste (I'm looking at YOU, bread!)
The best thing you could do is not buy into too much hype, do your research with reputable sources (not fad diet promoters who are trying to monetize your interests), and learn to read labels.6 -

Thank you for some insightful tips and the website I will look at that Jeanieneni. This is the diet my doctor put me on.
The paper he gave me states
1. If it tastes sweet it has sugar examples.... orange juice, fruits , all diet sodas and crystal light. No Splenda, equal or sugar twins.
2. If food is off white or white in color it's most likely starch ( few exceptions). Example no bread, pizza, cake, pies, pastas, rice and potatoes.
Rule of thumb white or sweet you can not have it
Meat- all I want: beef, pork, poultry, seafood, rabbit as much as I want.
Veggies- you can eat all the fresh or frozen veggies excluding corn, beans, and peas. Green beans are ok
Garden salads- as much as I like. Dressing only oil and vinegar, Italian and Caesar.
Eggs- you can eat all the eggs, bacon and sausage you like
Last but not least lots of water at least half a gallon a day which is easy for me I love water.
Please don't judge what my doctor put me on. Some of you had some lovely comments. This is not an insane diet it is just what my doctor put me on. All I asked for was for help from those who were on a similar diet. Maybe I should have written the whole chart like this from the beginning. I do not have sugar issues This is what he said would help me loose the best and I just said I would try it. I'm 2 weeks in and have lost 5.4lbs without being 100% on this diet and lost an inch in the waist and an inch in the hips.

OK, so definitely not "no carb" but low carb. The reactions you were getting were because your title says NO carb.10
-
Okay, why did your doctor put you on such a ridiculously restrictive diet? Is there a particular problem he's trying to avoid?
Vegetables, fruits etc all have carbs AND sugar so you are not on a no carb no sugar diet.8 -
Caesar dressing is huge on calories, fwiw.6
