    :smile: :smile: :smile: NEW CHALLENGE UPDATE:smile::smile: :smile:

    Hi mommies! One of our fellow mommies made a very valid point. We want the challenges to be doable for us MOMMIES, key word here is mommies, lol. With time contstraints that motherhood brings, an hour workout 6 days a week might be a lot for some of us. Although if you can do it that is awesome. I personally have all the time i need in the morning if i would get my butt out of bed, but i usuall dont so......lol!! But the goal is to push ourselves, so lets push ourselves to workout 6 days a week for 30 minutes or 1500 calorie burn this broken up how you wish. Lets go mommies we can do it! So to clarify, next weeks challenge is to get in 1500 calorie deficit from excercise (and for those that are able to do an hour I personally challenge you to 3000 calorie deficit next week :bigsmile:). Lets do this mommies!

    thanks latoya!! i am pushing for 2000-3000 since i am home this summer and can workout at nap time!! i am feeling like i am crazy to go for this goal but i need to push myself....i will be happy with 1500 but want more:) have a great weekend and good luck to all mommies on this challenge!! we can do this!! yay :happy:

    Weighing in today since I am having a cheat day with my kiddos tomorrow and I finished my "contest" today. I took 8th out of 620 people. Lost 64.2lb and 26.75%.

    Oye, rough weekend, that ended in a McDonald's dinner :( I have made significant changes in my eating and tracking everything has been really helpful for me. Next week I will continue to fine tune my diet (obviously no more McDonald's) and plan to start incorporating exercise to get me to the 1500 burn! Although tonight's dinner and last night's dinner were bad (I had planned on last night, mommy's night out with my best friend), I tried to eat conservatively throughout the day in anticipation of the extra calories. This is big for me as I used to eat three bad meals a day. Anyway, I hope you all had a nice weekend and are ready for the burn!!

    @becreed- i think your planning for the bad meals will keep the gain away! good job at small changes that make a big difference!

    Good morning mommies! ehh...157...a little sad as earlier this week i saw 155. here is to another week! did my insanity this morning so i did get at least 500 calorie burn today.

    Darn it!!! I had just typed a post and I hit the wrong key on this stupid laptop and it disappeared. Ugh!! :grumble: Well anyway, weighed in at 175 this morning, up from Friday but down from last Monday. Seems to be the norm for a Monday. I'm ready to burn some calories this week! I was going to get up at 5:30 this morning to get a short workout in but I turned off my alarm instead of hitting snooze. :blushing: I'll workout tonight for sure!!!!

    Let's go Mommies!!! Drink the water :drinker: and burn those calories!:bigsmile:

    Good morning Mommies. NOt so pleased with myself this morning. i did not make healthy choices all weekend and it shows this morning. last week i logged 166.2 on fri which was a 0.8 loss from monday but this morning i am up at 166.9 so thats actually a gain of 0.1. alright back on track though.

    I actually lost 2 pounds....wow...can't believe it..even though I can't exercise...I hope I continue losing..

    7 More weeks Mommies! Keep up the water and hit the exercise hard this week! I had a very bad, food wise, weekend. But last night got in a good work out to jump start the week! Today I start hitting it hard again. Last night i took measurements and did a 12 point fitness test and on labor day Ill recheck both. Hopfully by then Ill lose some inchs and double how many push ups sit ups ect that I can do. And just weighed myself, believe it or not, I weigh exactly to the point 7 the same as last week! LOL Oh well I was sure i was going to have to list a gain this week so ill talk it! Great job to all who lost this week!!!

    Ugh - gained yet another 2 lbs! I am constantly hungry, but am doing my best to make good food choices. I think it's because I have been so tired that my workouts have slacked off 100%. So, going to try to get back on it.

    Congrats on the losses ladies!! Congrats Meli on your baby!

    So, I miraculously (sp?) lost 3.6 lbs. this week. As I have mentioned before I was eating SO many calories to keep up with the breastfeeding and with MFP have drastically cut them (even though I am not yet at the 1200), so I think that is why I have had a couple of significant losses. I know this won't continue, but was so happy to see a loss and inch closer to the 140's.

    I have already had 50 oz and went to a 55 minute spin class, woo hoo!!! OH I may not be able to walk tomorrow seeing as this was my first major workout since my 8 month old was born, but it felt good! Have a great day!

    I hope all my fellow mommies had a wonderful weekend with their families. I was not able to workout at all this week due to my "illness", and had trouble with eating less food to compensate... Of course, I gained weight:blushing:

    I really did NOT wanna post my weight gained this week, but that's what we're all here for: to hold one another accountable right? Thanks for keeping me honest, and hopefully I'll be able to make the goal of 1500 calories burned this week, as long as I take it fairly slow... to ease back into an exercise routine. I did make my goal for the water every day though - YAY!

    hello ladies.. I hope all of you a great weekend!

    I battled with the scale this morning cause once again, I went on and saw a figure, came off and got back on and saw something else. After all was said and done, I got a reading that was a bit higher than what I'd hoped for but it was a negative, so I wont complain. I am gonna try to do the 500 burn each day but because I work all day, am a single mom living with my sis and her hubby, its kinda difficult to tell my demanding toddler that I am taking another 1 1/2 hours off her time to "exercise"... lol.. but I will really try.

    Anyways, stay well everyone and good luck for this week!!

    Water question? During the night i drink a ton of water. My 5 month old still wakes up twice to eat & I pee at least once(TMI :tongue: ) Each time i get up i drink around 20oz of water. Im trying to keep all my water logged for my own records, so my question is water drank through out the night, what day should i log it for? The current day or after midnight so make it the next day. I know theres no 'right' answer, just want oppinions :wink: Thanks Mommies! Hope your all enjoying your weekend. I know Im going to today, then its back to working out 6 days a week and logging everything! Lets hope today doesnt ruin Mondays weigh in for me!

    I would personally count it as previous day because im wierd like that lol :ohwell:

    Latoya, your awesome & so motivating!!! And I think so too on the water. Im tryin to log every drop of water i drink so i can really see if it makes a difference in how i feel, weigh ect.

    Hello fellow Labor Day Losers/Mommies! It looks like you are all doing great! Even with a gain, loss, or staying the same, we are all doing great because we are here and trying! :smile: My troubles lately have been eating. We have been on the go a lot and I'm finding myself eating out a lot because of it! Going to try to plan better for the week to come, and find other activities with my friends that don't involve eating! I had a hard time with the water challenge because I had to pee ALL the time! (Sorry if that was TMI hee hee:blushing: ) But I'm going to work on it! I'm ready for the next challenge...bring on the 500!

    I will log my weight tomorrow morning.. today was an off day and I got up late and wasn't able to get on the scale and follow my usual routine.. I'm down for the new calorie burned challenge and continuing the water one as well.... everyone have a wonderful night and Look forward to an even greater Tuesday :)

    Good Morning mommies!!!
    I am back to my good old self, full of energy and ready to take on the world... I am soooo not a Monday person, I love my weekends and spending quality time with my family and friends.. Had an awesome workout last night, ran 50 minutes on the treadmill and this morning had my boot camp class at 5am. I have burned 995 calories to date this week and I am at 32oz of water for the day... Let's do this ladies, I will not allow this plateau to stop me or discourage me any longer....
