Down only 0.6lbs, I'll take the loss. Sorry I'm a day late! Was doing pretty good early on in the week but went to the beach this weekend and that messed me up. One to many beers I guess, hopefully most of it is water weight, good luck to everyone this week!0 -
We got this men! Let's do it! I had two weeks of weight gain, so I know how rough that feels, but it's a new day and we know the way, so GIT-R-DONE or i'll keep rhyming what I say. Thank goodness I don't have to come up with verse for a living. :-))))0

Anyone heard from Apollo lately?0
-
I was getting ready to ask the same thing, it's been over two weeks since his last post...0

I was thinking he said a while back he was going on vacation, but not sure. Hope he is okay. I will not behere this weekend to weigh in so I will use todays weight which is 325.6, so 2/10ths of a lb up. I'm betting by Saturdays 5.5 mile hike that'll be gone. Good luck men. CW 325.6 LWW 325.60

I hit 385 mid-week and it hasn't changed, but that's a pretty decent loss from last week!0 -
Still hanging at 248lb. :-( I'll be glad when the loss starts again!0

Most damage repaired, LWW 112,2, CWW 109,1. Not bad I think. But now for the real challenge, losing 10K for end of the year. Succes to you all from a rainy Holland.0

Steady week with no change.0

Down 3lbs this week, pretty good considering I went out of town this weekend. Here's hoping for a solid few weeks coming up, with nothing planned for a few weeks I should be able to get back to those 5-6 lb weight loss weeks like before, good luck to everyone.0 -
Another week and no gain or loss. Looks like I've finally stopped this train from going the wrong direction and time to get it moving the other way.
260 last week and still at 260.
Also finally have my appt with the orthopedic surgeon this week. keeping my fingers crossed.
If we don't hear from Apollo this week, I'll try and figure out this graph and post one up for us. Hope he is doing ok.0 -
Men - my apologies for not keeping things going. I'm happy to see that you are still posting your results. I think I am going to need to pass the torch to someone else, as the last few weeks have been busy and I have not been able to keep up with it.
But hey, I kept at it for 6 months - that's not bad! I am still on myfitnesspal and will check in from time to time, but for now, I'm going to have to take a break.
Keep working at it Men!0 -
Apollo, you have been the rock on this Mission thread. I salute you for the 6 months you gave and truly appreciate it. I will try and take it from here unless someone else would like to do it. I am not the most computer savy guy and don't want to mess this up for others. I'll keep you on the chart unless you say otherwise. Again, thanks for your dedication and take care. We will most likely still be here when you get back from break.0

Ok guys, here is a butchered version of Apollo's weekly update. I took out a couple of stats and just put in order of most weight by pounds lost for the week. I went back 2 weeks and grabbed everyone's info and hopefully didn't screw it up too much.
The big winner for week 27 was Eats_With_A_Fist. Welcome aboard and congratulations.

Here is the most current for this week. I also am not color coding anything yet. Maybe once I get a little more used to doing this I can tweak it for you guys. I am embarrassed to say how long it took me just to figure this much out.
StevLL and Bigeddy were this weeks winners. Keep up the great work men.

Anyone even looking here anymore?0

i do from time to time0

Yes, absolutely! Thanks for continuing this sheet Tim. Isn't it possible that Appoloag sent you the sheet? On the other hand, things are working already I see. If you need any help with it, let me know, glad if I can be of some assistance.0
-
I check in regularly too0
-
Cool thank you Tim for taking on the chart. Let me know if I can help, I still post and look here, but I know its hard these days to find the extra time to jump on. Nice job Eats!0
-
I'm still in, I log in daily so I'm always around. Thanks for taking over the sheet team, let me know if you need any help as well.

Ok guys, I'm thinking of changing a couple of things up and want to know what y'all think. Many of us have been on this thread for quite a while and some have more recently joined. I've noticed that the total weight lost in the graph don't match some of our tickers. Many of us, me included, began this journey before finding this thread.
I would like to change our start weights to when we began this journey. Some of you have already done an incredible job is losing weight and I think having the total reflected in the graph is 1) a recognition to your achievement and 2) can help inspire the rest of us.
I would also like to simplify the chart a little if that alright with the rest of you. Let me know what you guys think. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a couple more guys on here. If any of you have an MFP friend you think might like to join in, have them send their stats along with a greeting.
I also have a confession to make. I've been using the same scale for my weigh-ins each week. I always knew that it is not the most accurate. Having to go to the doctor's so often lately and getting weighed in has been frustrating in seeing the difference between the two scales. On one of my last visits I asked what my highest recorded weight was from my last visit before I started avoiding going last year and it was 332. Holy crap! Not even I realized I had gotten that heavy. So, my trusty home scale which I have literally had for at least 20 years is weighing me about 15 pounds lighter than I actually am. The bad part is I am 15 pounds heavier and a little further from my goal but I have still lost 57 pounds so far. Until I get a new scale, I will be using one we have in our locker room at work which is a more commercial type.0 -
Changes sound good to me! Still no weight loss on my front. It has been a very stressful few weeks and my eating has not been what it should be. We finished the biggest piece of one project on Friday so perhaps things will slow down a little and I can calm down and start losing again.
I have also noticed that during the last few weeks that my legs are becoming much more defined and muscular looking. So perhaps the fat loss has been offset by muscle gain.0 -
Sounds like a good plan Tim. We ended up buying a new scale too. We had one that went to 330lbs, but I think I broke it as it would fluctuate by ten to fifteen lbs within a few seconds. I guess the extra 40lbs was more than it could take. Got a new one at Wally-World for $36 and it goes up to 400lbs and seems to be accurate.
I started my journey on January 3rd 2011, but did not join MFP till March and by then I was 360lbs. My NSV's lately have been more motivating than the scale. Will officially weigh in tomorrow for my weigh in.0 -

Down 7 lbs this week, diet was on point and I was able to get to the gym 5 times and finally got the big week I've been looking for the last couple of weeks. Hope everyone else had a good week, and thanks again to Tim for taking over the forum.0 -
Sounds good to me...just let me know what you need!0
-
Eats, all I will need from you is this weeks weigh in. As long as someone doesn't skip a week, I'll have last weeks weight already. Already have your starting and goal weight (it's also in your signature) so you are good. I will try to get the chart up on Sunday nights or Monday mornings.0
-
Nice job Pancho! CW 325.2 LWW 325.4, so only 2/10ths, but I'll take it. Okay men lets do this!
I may try to do protein shakes and reduce my calories this week to try and hit my mini-goal on time. Basically I have 8 days to lose 10lbs.0 -
No movement again for me. I'm starting another challenge tomorrow so hopefully this will be the spark I have been looking for to get things moving again. Good luck everyone.0
-
Well.. LW 109.5, CWW 110.6. I could say I bought a new scale of course but truth is lack of discipline when going out a day to the zoo with the whole family. No healthy food around there, except if you shoot it yourself. But here in Europe, that isn't allowed..0
