Attraction is subjective. I personally feel a little more attractive but I have low self esteeme. Here's my before a during face comparison though.

I think it's all subjective. I'm sure you've seen enough success stories and before/after pictures to come to a conclusion on this, right?13

Well, according to a former coworker a few years back, she became interested after losing the weight6

honest answer is that this seems like a pretty weird thread. what are you looking for, exactly? motivation/inspiration? pictures of pretty people? those are the only two ideas that come to my mind.

Of course motivation/inspiration or whatever you call. I just need answers not photos of pretty people. Only answers.0 -
My straightforward and honest thoughts: I do think I'm hotter now, but I was certainly attractive even at my highest weight. Looking at old pictures of myself, I see a beautiful, bright teenager. Sure, my weight showed that I struggled with balancing my energy input and output, but I looked great nonetheless. Today, I am still beautiful and bright, a woman who has overcome many struggles with my weight.
Imo, people look their best at a weight healthy for their height/age, but it doesn't mean that they weren't good-looking before losing weight.25 -
Well, based on the attention I get while out and about, I'm attractive if I wear makeup, have my hair down, and wear marginally tighter clothes.
It's like turning on a light switch.
I'll keep you posted if thinner me get more attention. I'm guessing yes.14 -

What do you mean?1 -
I was never terribly large, just a little on the hefty side but, when I was larger, I was often mistaken for a boy. My hair is as short as ever and I still don't wear make-up but I can't remember the last time someone thought I was a fella. I really haven't changed the way I dress either, still wear the manly shoes, same skinny jeans and same heavy metal t-shirts I have for years, so not sure what's up with that. Used to happen all the time, like weekly if not daily, but it's been months.6

Lol! What a funny question. As far as I'm concerned I was as attractive at 190lbs as I was at 115lbs. For other people it may be a matter of preference aka "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but I love and respect myself and have always considered myself attractive because it's my self-confidence and sense of self worth that attracts others to me more so than my dress size. Losing the weight made me feel a lot healthier, and that's what is really important IMHO.

I was always attractive, before the first time I lost weight, after, when I regained and now, while I'm losing again. But a lot of people don't "see" beauty when you're fat. They focus only on your shape, because that's what our society has made important, and once the fat is gone, "suddenly" they also notice that you're not completely hideous. It's sad, but over the course of the past 10 years I've learned that it's true for a lot of people. I get hit on SO much more when I'm not overweight.11

I just meant a lot of times it's presentation.
Doesn't have as much to do with your actual level of attractiveness as a lot of people think.
In my opinion, presentation is more important than your level of attractiveness.7 -
Uhh... I don't know if I'd say attractive but I look happier I think..

I didn't, but I was never attractive to begin with.
Some people can go from Zero to Hero/Heroine with weight loss because it changes how they view themselves (self-confidence, I guess) and/or it changes other peoples' perception of said Hero/Heroine.7 -
I like bigger dudes, I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Nonetheless, it's what's inside that counts. I don't think I'd kick my fella out if bed if he changed.7

@Look_Its_Kriss that's why I made this thread to motivate other people to exercise and my self too. But I think some people didn't understand the idea behind this thread!!2

Look_Its_Kriss wrote: »Motivating someone to exercise to lose weight in hopes of finally becoming attractive is absolutely heart breaking to me. Any person Before, during and after is attractive because of the reasons outside of their weight, because they are good, honest, loving human being who would give the shirt of their back for someone they care about. They are a person who can give love and accept someone else for who they are regardless of their size. They have a great personality and can make someones day simply by existing and the people who have had the pleasure of meeting these people are incredibly thankful to have them in their lives.
I spent 29 years of my life being told i was a waste of life because i was fat.. i was not a waste of life, i was not ugly and i didn't become attractive after i lost weight, i was always attractive..
This thread really breaks my heart.
Maybe i am over reacting, but i feel like there are betters ways to motivate.
Wait! Don't get upset. Its not meant for breaking someone's heart!! Sorry if my thread hurts you.2
