Do you think one of the ladies in the group was the one looking at Alexandria at the end of the previous episode?

My thoughts are the group they ran into at the end was the one that was watching them before but I guess we will see

That is my theory as well. Rick sees warriors to go up against Negan. They need the manpower.

Yeah and they seem to have a lot hopefully if they can get them then maybe the others will join along as well

Exactly. But if that theory turns out to be correct, I don't think they will give in too easily. Maybe Rick will have to win them over.

I just feel like the tiger is going to be the one to kill negan but I've never read the comic books so who knows

Nah--- too obvious. I'm hoping the tiger takes out Father Gabrielle. lol

    Yes!!!!

Lol, yeah that was a really bad CGI of the deer. They would have been better off just putting a stuffed one out there.

How did Michonne get from the trunk to escape through the sun roof with Rick?
    TV magic.

Did they really think ANYONE thought Rick was being devoured. They already did that once with Glen.

They are really dragging this season out IMHO.
    Maybe I'm just zombied out?

Isn't there an opening from the trunk to the back seat?

You can go through the back seat to get to the trunk in most cars these days.

I don't think that they were trying to full the audience (maybe a little bit). I think they were trying to create a plot point for Michonne to talk to Rick about reality. I liked that Michonne was forced to deal with the potential of losing Rick and what she would have to do if she did.

They are dragging the season out because they are almost caught up with the comic. But they have taken a left turn. Sort of.

So... Right when Walking Dead began, my 1 year old decided that she wanted to start walking for the first time (not just a few steps here and there)...Her father and I started yelling out stuff like, " We have a walker!" and " Look out, there's a walker behind you".. Totally stuff that would get us killed during a Zombie apocalypse.

I missed a lot of details and will have to re-watch the episode, but for a moment, I thought they were about to kill off Michonne. I didn't think they really were going to do it, but there was a second were I thought she was a goner. So, kind of glad it was just an eye opener.

I believe they needed this episode to show how they replenished their food and armor.

For a split second, I held out hope...then realized nah, it won't happen. My husband and I would like to know how Rick managed to get Michonne's sword though, to toss it to her - since she dropped it on the opposite side of the walkers from Rick.

THAT sword toss and catch was COOL! It did gave me a moment of pleasure.

    Random thoughts/questions:

How far along is Maggie? Where has she been? Have they shown her with any physical sign of being PG? If so I missed it.

My DW cannot see Rick & Michonne as a couple. Anyone else not see it happening?

Who was the person at the end of the last episode? I don't think it was a savior. Was it one of the junk yard gang?

What was the person carrying a crossbow? I couldn't tell.

SPOILER ALERT - but just TV versus reality...nothing about future walking dead episodes

Darrell's Crossbow looks cool but it is such made-for-TV BS - just like the deer

    Do you have a crossbow?
===I do. It is a blast to shoot and very accurate to 50-60 yards...and I mean very accurate.

How fast can you reload a crossbow while under duress (i.e. - Zombies want to eat you)?
===Not nearly as fast as Darrell. In fact, I would be lucky to get 4 shots off a minute with an accurate aim under no duress.

How far would the crossbow bolts (arrows) go through a half-rotten Zombie skull?
===through and through and then off into the wild blue yonder to be lost forever

Assuming Darrell weakened his crossbow so the bolts (arrows) would stop on the back side of the skull - like his always do...how hard would it be to pull them out?
===Great question. The hard ones would require two hands on the bolt (arrow), one foot on the zombie head, and a very strong pull (50+pounds).

    Conclusion:
    ===I want Michone's sword

It would make sense that it's Dwight.

My guess on who dies this season.
Sasha. It will look like Rosita is but she won't. I also expect them to probably get Eugene back.

Well, no surprises so far..... Especially the part where I thought they wouldn't get to the war until next season. Leave us hanging all summer again...

I am now certain I know what will happen to Negan. But we probably won't find out until the last episode, next season. Unless they do another cliff hanger, which I doubt but who knows.

    Thoughts on the Season Finale?

The person who died was the one I guessed. Side note: She will be playing Lt. Cmdr Rainsford on the new Star Trek: Discovery.

I guessed the war wouldn't start until next season, but that makes sense. I rather watch a whole season for the "All Out War" (What it's called in comics) then have only a couple episodes for it.

I'm excited about next season and I'm glad Rick didn't back down when faced with the same thing he was faced with at the beginning of the the season.

Poor "Carol" (Carl, but the internet makes fun of how Rick says Carl, it sounds like Carol sometimes) Rick didn't seem as upset that his son was going to get bashed.

They keep playing with Rick's hands. FYI - in the comic Rick lost his right hand early on.

That finale dragged on way too long but once the bullets started flying I was pleased.

Only a couple of episodes this season kept me really interested. The rest....eh. Still a fan, but the group is slowly being reduced and they need to bring in some strong characters next season.

" Korl, close your EYE!" Remember when Rick and Michonne first got together in Alexandria, and Carl realized they were sleeping together, then Chris Hardwick spoofed it on "Talking Dead"?

I'm with you on this one. Too much monologing this season . . . like "what's it all mean!" That I'm getting tired of and this is definitely not their best season.

This was a filler season, They could of set everything up in 3 episodes.

Yeah, we didn't see much progress. I heard Rosita is beheaded in the comics so I was expecting that this episode.

I hope next season has more action.

Very frustrated with the season finale. I agree, this was way too slow a season. And now we have to wait how long to get any more progress? :'(

Spoilers! Yeah, there is no telling how they will play it on the TV show though.
