    The fact that I was in the other room and he couldn't wait, or even ask thru the door... that's a game changer. I couldn't trust him after that. Which means there is no relationship if there is no trust.

    I'd have a serious talk. I couldn't tolerate it. However, if my bf asked me first and I had the money I'd give it to him given the fact I know the reason he wants money in the first place. If he stole the money I would lose not just the 20$ but the trust for him.
