How did you gain so much muscle?
Progressive overload I started with the weight I could manage doing BODY FOR LIFE its a great beginner program that's free and kept adding weight over the years.
I spent the better part of 12 months spread out eating in a surplus to put on muscle. Any time there was no food tracking on my MFP diary I was bulking.
Its actually not much muscle, its not thick or mature at all. Maybe in the next few years. Remember, I wear a size 2. Yesterday I put on a skinny size 0 they felt too tight in the claves. Most ppl with visible muscle who are natural are tiny in person.

so much this!!1 the time will pass anyway! Its taken me years. I just never stopped. I found something I loved to do and kept at it. I tell people all the time IT IS POSSIBLE I'm human just like you. I only spend an hour in the gym 6 days a week. MFP has been the key to dialing in diet toward my goals. Diet is the hard part. I've never dipped below 1400 cals mostly I've been up between 1800 and 1600. It can be done without suffering low calories and hours in the gym. A masterpiece takes time. Keep working at it and refining it40 -

Thank you!!
I started with BODY FOR LIFE and have used that program adding more weight over the years. I did this program even if it meant using machines instead of free weight. Body FOR LIFE is a progressive overload program designed to change your body.
I don't use this program any longer the volume is too much for my joints as I was diagnosed with arthritis this year. I'm not letting that stop me. My sports med doc has come up with a plan for me and it is effective at the stage. Hit everything with 3 sets of 10-15 moderate weight using tempo and time under tension. Its working.13 -
