All hunkered down and watching the snow fall. It has been snowing since Thursday night so I haven't been able to go to my parents for the Easter weekend. Parents called and they have about 3 feet of snow and are unable to get out of the yard, in fact even snow plows are in the ditch. Fortunately their power came back on at about 4 am, it was out for about 20 hours. April in Alberta you gotta love it.
Have a lovely weekend friends.

Hi everyone,
We had a fabulous time in Mexico. Re-entry to the real world was hard this week! I made it to the gym for my 3 group classes, plus a yoga class but my food hasn't been up to par. Not horrible, but not going to see any losses. Goal for this week is to keep up with the workouts, adding 3 more cardio workouts in addition to the 3 classes and to log everything. If I can figure out how, I'll add a pic of us in Cabo. One of the highlights was horseback riding on the beach. Our daughter is the girl in the middle on the white horse. Her two best friends since kindergarten came with us.

this is little Nelly Marie born March 5th. She's got a hint of a smile there.
Meet Killian Dean. Grandchild #13. Five weeks younger than Nelly he almost outweighs her! He was born April 12th and weighed 9 lbs 13 oz.
My oldest grandchild turned 11 on the 4th. and went to a Scuba Intro class to check out if he was ready to hit the water with Grandma and Grandpa.
Life is busy. Took the past week between baby stuff to test down 150 feet of fence and the vine covering it. Wicked vine. I pulled one continuous root out of the ground that was 55 feet long! A real workout!

There must be an easier way to make friends. I have to write names down then go to friends to send a request. Am I missing something?
.
Dreamwriter, thanks for your comment regarding my mother. Perhaps she will turn around.

Found an app for tracking digital time. Downloaded it to iPhone and iPad. We'll see how this works.

Didn't buy an RV, but did make a couple decisions, more tomorrow when I've had time to process, and not posting on a phone at 80 mph...

Good evening all! Have the grilled fired up and just waiting for my DYS to get home from work. I have tilapia and chicken, both marinating in the fridge, mushrooms, pineapple and cauliflower oiled and seasoned and skewered. A glass of wine by my side. It has been a nice sunny day with temps in the 60's. Woke up to birds singing this morning. Needless to say, it feels like vacation in a day, here in Grand Haven, MI.
My new neighbors have probably figured out that they live by a crazy person. LOL! They were on their back deck as I knocked on the door of my shed and said "I'm coming in!" very loudly. This is the way I enter the shed in the springtime, as I have a few "furry friends" that take up residency in there. I like to give them warning so they can scamper to their little hidey holes and stay out of sight. Anyhow...when I left the shed, I made eye contact and they gave me a cautious little wave and hello. I will just tell them that is where I keep my Mother In Law.
Joaquin is one month old, as of yesterday! He has gained a pound and a half and four and a half inches in length!
Dana- Sending you a friend request right now!
Purl- What a fantastic vacation you are having! You all look wonderful on your horses by the sea!
Marcelyn- Nelly! Gorgeous girl! And congrats on #13 Killian Dean! What a beautiful big boy! How amazing to have 13! I am ecstatic with just one; I can't even imagine how 13 would feel!
Carey- Hello my friend! So good to see/hear your voice on here again! Sorry about the snow! But I have a "funny" that popped up on my fb feed this morning. A memory of what spring was like for us a year or so ago.

(let's see if it will let me post from Pinterest without logging in.)
Chris- You look amazing in your profile pic! And now your dress fits better?! Whoot! Whoot! Go girl! NSV!
Question- What movie, music, or book pumps you up? When you need an inspiration injection or need to feel that "Rocky" hands-over-head feeling...what do you turn to to get that energizing injection? I love LOVE strong woman movies. Like G.I. Jane or Catwoman. Both horrid movies, but make me feel like I could kick the crap out of somebody. Very energizing (in a good way). What works for you?

You can send a friend request by going to the profile page of the person you want as a friend. How you get to their profile page is different on the website than on the phone app. Which are you using?

The real blessing is that all 13 live within 15 miles of me and I get to see them every week several times. At a minimum at least on Sunday. Everyone goes to church and then we all gather at Grandma's for lunch (and in good weather for swimming in Grandpa's pool). This Sunday is pool opening day so they will all be sure to be here after Resurrection Sunday services.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate.
Hugs to everyone. Turkey tomorrow.

Along with grocery shopping and two trips to Office Depot to get help with the new QuickBooks program on my computer, I walked 23,000 steps thanks to my usual dog walking and a walk with a friend. She came over in the early afternoon and we walked with the dogs for about 45 minutes, then took the dogs home and walked another 45 minutes without them.
We don't celebrate Easter so we have neither food nor family to deal with this weekend. Best wishes to all of you who are celebrating. I hope the joy of the season and family will make the day special for you.

Call me crazy but I love to see other people happy and succeeding .
Good Evening My Dear Friends,
Diane, I know what you mean about missing your DD. Sorry you won’t get to visit her for Easter.
Sharon, I do hope you are feeling better tomorrow.
Chris, I read with interest your observations on giving up alcohol. I was telling a friend the other day that I know I would lose more weight if I stopped drinking for a few months. It’s just like when I was obese, I knew what I needed to do but wasn’t ready. It is certainly something to think about. I gained back a few after I quit smoking and just seem to want to hold on to it.
Chris, your strawberries look great and I love your bunny serving dishes.
Heather, sorry to hear about your legs last night. I have restless legs right now and need it to stop before I go to bed. Glad you got to go meet your friends. I did have to laugh at you getting a “girly magazine”. Here when I hear that I think of something like Playboy. Rofl
Purl, so glad you had a good trip. Sorry you had to get back to the real world. Great picture of you and the group on horses with the beautiful water and sky in the background.
Marcelyn, Beautiful babies. Nellie looks like she could be related to Bea. What a cutie.
Dana, you can just click on a name right here in the room and it takes you to their profile. You may need to click on it again to get to the spot where you can request to add as friend. The problem with me having friends is that I very rarely go to my home page to see what my friends are doing. Most of them are in this group and we keep up with each other here.
Kelly, Joaquin is such a doll. And that head of dark hair. When I need to get geared up the music that works for me is Foot Loose. I have just always loved that music.
Barbie, that is great that you got your computer back so quickly.
to any Newbies. Come often and join in the chat. This thing works!! Please sign your post with what you want to be called. It makes it easier for us to respond to you. Also a location is great, be it specific or general. We are happy to have you join us.
I took the last 3 Totes to the children’s resale shop today. That was a lot of work for $63 but I know my friend appreciates it. Now to finish getting everything together and call the local charity to come pick it up. I love that they give everything to those in need. For those that celebrate, I wish you all a happy and blessed Easter. Just Say NO to all those chocolate bunnies and eggs.
Sending love, good thoughts and sunshine to all of you.
I Love you

Diane ... I'm in the same boat. First time one of my chicks hasn't been in the nest for Easter. Younger son is at school in Nashville ... we're in Buffalo, NY! Fortunately, my dear friend lives in Brentwood and will have him over for the day ... I feel better about that... but it won't be the same.3
