Thanks @Stoshew71! Great job on your race too despite the conditions! Our weather was going crazy yesterday, cold and rainy, sunny and cool, then back to freezing and rainy. I was praying it wouldn't warm up until I was done running because I knew it'd get steamy outside.

Late checking in but I made my monthly goal and unlike most of the country we had beautiful weather. Got my last few miles out of the way on the trail near the house.

490 miles/2,017 miles - goal for the year

Yes, I have been MIA. There's no way I can get caught up here so I'm posting this, and will hop over to May. I had some plans to run while I was on vacation but obviously that didn't happen! I don't regret it, it was a fantastic time, with great people. It really felt good to get back to it though, upon my return. And that long run on the 30th I really needed, just for the mental confidence boost, to know that I could pull out the 13 mile distance. All of a sudden my next half is less than 2 weeks away! Eeek!

Anyway, didn't hit my monthly goal, but still had my longest monthly mileage ever. See everyone on the May thread!

@KatieJane83 - I was noticing you disappeared but did manage to recall something about vacation. Nothing wrong with cutting loose on vacation! Congrats on the monthly mileage and the long run!

@RunTimer - I am just catching up here before jumping in (late) to the May challenge and had to comment on your picture of the Palace of Fine Arts. That is one of my favorite areas in SF!! I have not run there though. Are you running the SF Marathon or either HM?
