Round 8--On vacation
Went on vacation for two weeks. Had a great time. The scale showed a 7.3lb gain, I thought it would be a lot more, but I know a lot of it is water retention, messed up sleep schedule, and extra salt from all of the restaurant meals. Ready to get back to regular eating and exercising. My goal for this round is to get back down to or close to my pre-vacation weight.

07/02 265.6 Dad came over for the weekend, I insisted all we do was eat fast/junk food. Completely my fault. I did however order Beef & Broccoli instead of General Tso's!!! Deffo a NSV for me!
07/03 264.6 Surprised I lost a pound, Feeling super bummed I didn't log in originally on the 2nd, goal for this round is to get in the 50's. I felt like since I was so good and lost 6ish pounds in my R1, that if I lost anymore that month it would be unhealthy/going off too quick!

07/05 265.6 Well baby I’ve been here before, I’ve seen this room and I’ve walked this floor. It could have been worse, walking today so I am definitely excited to see the scale finally go down. No more holidays!! Baby steps. . .

Y'all, I need some advice. I went on the scale this morning and it said 260.6, I didn't think it was right so I moved it, it read 265.6, so I moved it again and it read 266.6 so I left it there...should I have just kept it as the first one [even if it is extremely unrealistic]..any advice will do! It is just somewhat discouraging when the scale says 3 different things.

Don't worry about it, highly unlikely that you're actually a pound heavier.
For consistency though, it starts with an accurate and consistent scale. Next it takes consistent placement of the scale and your feet.
I place my scale on the exact same tile every day, lined up exactly with two of the grout lines in a very specific way and I have to step on it in the same way for the most accurate reading.
To find the most accurate and consistent spot, it took some testing. I used various known weights (dumbbells and plates) and tried different locations and surfaces. Then I would get my weight (always in my boxers), then hold weights while weighing to find accurate foot placement (it should go up by the amount of the weight you're holding). During my testing I learned that some tiles are slightly uneven and can cause the scale to read considerably higher or lower and some spots were all over up and down. The craziest was something like 9# lighter than the accurate/consistent tile.
All that might sound insane, but I got tired of ridiculous readings.
Taking body measurements is also important (probably more than weight). I do, neck, chest, naval, waist, thighs and biceps on a monthly basis. I also plug my numbers into the Navy body fat formula to approximate body fat/lean muscle. I also take pictures or video of my body every few months too. Nice to compare where you are to where you've been.4 -

Final Goal weight: maybe 98 lbs -- not really sure (sm. boned & petite)

Goal: to maintain. I have a beer festival on 7/8. An annual tradition: Two days of drinking and eating I'm not willing to compromise on.
07/02: 213.6 -- under calories, worked out. Very sore today.
07/03: 211.8 -- shocking. Slightly over calories yesterday, did a light workout. Still sore.
07/04: 213.8 -- Knew it was too good to be true. Starving all day yesterday, overate but exercised and had only one beer.
07/05: 213.8 -- Over calories yesterday but only by about 50, exercised.
07/06: 213.2 -- under calories yesterday, worked out. Tomorrow begins the beer fest weekend. I have workouts planned to take with me that I can do in B&B room.

I'm in. Weight 07/01 = 271 -- but I did see 269 once during last week. This week's goals -- no take out Chinese after twice last week and more days with SIX as the second digit! There will be at least one hefty meal for the holiday weekend: a rib-eye and a large russet are calling my name from the fridge.

Went to gym yesterday and ate way below cal and carbs. Just wasn't hungry. Got extra exercise playing chase with a 2 year old. Fun exercise.

Increasing to 1000? You should reevaluate your diet. You should be minimum 1200 calories. I'm not an expert and if you are under a physician's care then my apologies for interfering but your intake was too low and is still too low.5
