Thank you for the last challenge. I love this and want to keep going. My goal weight is 140 lbs, but for this 10 day challenge I will settle for 148 lbs.

I've lost an average of 1.5 lbs. per round over the last 6 rounds! I'm going to see if these guidelines will make a difference in that average!

Didn't sleep well at all last night! When the clock went off this morning, I hit snooze once then just cut it off! No way I was even going to try to go exercise feeling like that, and was scheduled to start work at 8:30 am. Trying to rack up a few extra hours to use on vacation in 2 wks. And wouldn't you know it, my second call was from a guy who sounded like he got up on the wrong side of the bed and intended to make everybody he came into contact with pay for it! I had to pray, pull out my bible, read a scripture, and pray again before my headache eased off! I fixed him though; I prayed that God would bless him with a great day!9 -

10/30 - 225.1lbs - i fell off the wagon the last two weeks while on a road trip and put back on 10lbs -i earned this eating anything and everything!!! I know i will lose this quickly and more. Common November!
10/31 - 221.6 - buy buy salt and water and bloat!
11/1 - 219.6 - down down down. Survived halloween and only had 1 of each candy. 5 in total and tracked it all. Had yummy homemade pizza for dinner, half of it, but i didnt have lunch so im ok with this. No exercise today but will be going tomorrow.
11/2 - 218.6 - 3.6 away from.my.lowest. almost there. No exercise again but food was good. Planning for the gym tomorrow.
11/3 - 218.2 - 3.2 away. At the gym now finally, so the numbers should be going down faster now!
11/4 - 217.3 - yahoo. Gym worked. Heading to the gym again soon. Making some beef vegetable soup and prepping healthy snacks today.
11/5 - 216.7 - only 1.7 away. Yoga and dodgeball today! It took me a week to gain 11lbs. Its taking me a week to burn it off!
11/6 - 217.0 - no gym yesterday so understandable jump. Looks like all the vacation food/eater weight is gone..now i will need to burn the last 2lbs off! Home day today with baby but making beef vegetable soup and doing house chores!

...and there we are...off the wagon - or wagon wheel...it started with one...then I was in munch heaven...got my chew on and thought I need more...so I had another and 6 rich tea!!!!
So gutted with myself but also it's ok...it's been a down - I'm pre-menstrual and I've had a bit of anxiety today over having to go to the job centre.
While I'm not going to make excuses for myself I am going to draw a line under it and say tomorrow is another day. This is something I am learning to do after severe depression and anxiety.

Interesting (in a good way!). I ate about 200 over my goal yesterday, but most of it in a big lunch out, which no doubt meant more sodium. I had no dinner, but a Kind bar and, late in the evening, a cinnamon raisin English muffin with peanutbutter. I more and more find that eating a big lunch (or breakfast, actually) and then nibbling a few hundred calories later works better for me than "normal" meals. Can't do that every day (hard to get the hubster to go for big lunches at home), but it would be interesting to try a full couple of weeks eating that way to see what happens. Anyway, always nice to start a new round with an encouraging drop! Good luck to all of you!

Happy Halloween! It's a scary day with all the goodies around -- I'm allowing myself one small Butterfingers from the trick-or-treat supplies. I plan to nibble and savor it. Otherwise pushing protein, whole-grain carbs, healthy fats, and lots of water. Planning a long walk this afternoon before the rain arrives. Have a great day, all!

Okay, I had 4 of the little Butterfingers, not 1, and they tasted great! :-) I ate a bit more than usual otherwise as well and I think I'm retaining water, so not surprised. But I happily think I'm firmly in the 40s now, so that's good.

I expected this (or more), and know a lot of it is water. I had a little splurge last night - spinach feta pretzel at Barnes & Noble and a couple of cookie samples. Also had mac & cheese for dinner, and I'm always up a bit after that. Back on track today and going forward.

10/30 - 246.2 - I am so HAPPY about this loss! I've been trying to add more exercise at night, and I think it's really going to pay off. I would love to go much further than my goal in this round and I'm going to try!
10/31 - 247.2 - I ate a little extra but I worked off some of it. I think the lack of sleep was a factor. Tonight's Halloween, so I'm really hoping I can keep my resolve and have a loss instead of a gain!
11/1 - 247.8 - I had candy, not a lot, but I did have some. I actually am pretty proud of how restrained I was. I was still under calories with exercise, and it wasn't a big gain. I'm going to call it a win and hope that tomorrow is better. Eating at book club tonight, so hopefully there are some healthy choices for me!
11/2 - 248.8 - I was bad. I ate way too much, didn't exercise. I'm hitting a low point and I'm not really sure how to pull myself out of it.
11/3 - 249.8 - This week has definitely been a struggle. But finally it's winding down. I am going to get back on track this weekend, for sure!
11/4 - 247.2 - Got some sleep, didn't overeat, did my exercise. Getting the train back in the right direction!

11/6 - 245.2 - I was hoping for a bigger loss. I ate within my calories and exercised. A little disappointed, but at least the scale is going in the right direction.

Round 20 was a definite challenge, pulling me out of my comfort zone. Hoping to get back on track this round and focus on the daily weigh-in the next morning when I am tempted to go off the rails. Loving this accountability.
10/30: 165 Good day yesterday; got a run in and drank my water. Having trouble tracking, though. I get lazy by dinnertime and don't finish out the day.
10/31: 164.5 managed to finish tracking yesterday. Got in a walk with the dog and 30 minutes on my elliptical at home. My DH took apart the elliptical, cleaned it, fixed the fan so it works again... nice for those cold mornings when I don't want to drive to the gym...
11/1: 165.7 Not gonna lie. Yesterday I ate with... what did you call it, Heidi, Cyranda? ...reckless abandon. Today has not been much better. Gotta turn it around, and FAST!

11/3: 165.7 My goal today is to not dip into the candy stash at work. I have half an apple and snap peas ready to help me do battle. If I want to see the scale go down, I need to get control of this sugar demon!

11/5: 164.5 Tracked again, ate a bit over calories, but also put in an hour of exercise. Had a difficult time with the night snacking last night. Portioned out my chips and a little bit of wine to have with our movie, but my DD also made pumpkin pie and I had some of that, too.
11/6: 165.4 I am on day 5 of a new exercise routine with weights. Don't think I got enough water yesterday and went out to eat. I feel good, though!

10/30: 227.7/ Met my step goal today. Food choices were not terrible, but I did give in to the Halloween candy temptation.
10/31: 226.6/ Doing okay today. I'm almost at my step goal, so I should get meet my goal this evening. But the food temptations! School Halloween party, plus a student's birthday, plus Halloween candy at home for my son!!! I have to resist!
11/1: 226.3/ Did great on calories and steps today, if I stop eating now. I have a lot to do this evening, but that's when my munching temptations kick in. I may just go on to bed early to avoid the temptation.
11/2: 226.4/ Not so great with food choices today, but went over my step goal.
11/3: 226.1/Having a hard time resisting snacks and munching. Doing pretty good on calories but not the best. There's a good bit I could cut out to help with losing weight. It's easy to say that after the fact, not as easy when food is right in front of me.
11/4: 225.8/ Weight is going down, so I'm happy. Still haven't made good food choices. Tomorrow- no sugary desserts all day. No chips or other snacks. Only planned meals and a planned snack between meals. I know I can do it for one day!
11/5: 225.2/ Weight is still going down! I did really good on the no sugar snacks today, not perfect, but much better than usual. Tomorrow- same goal- no unplanned snacks. I'm also going to cut back on processed carbs.
11/6: 225.8/ I don't like that it went back up today. Hope it goes back down tomorrow, but I had a lot of sodium today, so I may retain/gain more.

10/31 - 160.1 Happy Halloween!! Been an off track last few days, but back at it. NSV: Wearing a size small today!! Just a sweater jacket, but small. Only size they had left super cute so I tried it on and it fit ok.
11/01 - 162.5 Day after Halloween. Ate less than 1/4 of treats I would have on previous Halloweens. Had Indian for dinner and my increase is probably due to that. Gave the last few kids tons of candy their eyes were huge!! Only had 15 kids and gave out regular sized bars. I figured if I had (1) regular bar that the would satisfy me and I would end up eating less and lose count on all those tiny ones. So over on cals, enjoyed the night. Did way way better than previous Halloweens. So I'm chalking this up as a win!!
11/02 - 161.1 Thought this was going to be way worse, having trouble with time manangement these last few days. Need to get to the grocery store and prep/plan dinners.
11/03 - 159.6 It snowed here a little yesterday evening. Made it to the grocery store and picked up ingredients to make a slow cooker stew for tonight. Friday night of cozying up with a bowl of stew (380 calories/ bowl) and a movie with the kids. Simple Friday!! Have a great weekend everyone!!

I would like to join this challenge for some extra accountability. I've found myself much more lax with my food lately because I'm pretty close to my goal weight. My SW was 148, current weight is 121.6 and goal weight is 117ish (I'm 5'1). I'm starting a few days late but better than waiting for another 7 days to get going again.

11/4: 121.0- Happy with this! I definitely increased my water intake today and had a really good workout. I don't believe I've ever sweat that much. My goal tomorrow is to avoid the donuts at church.
11/5: 121.4- Down Up Down Up! Well I didn't avoid the donuts at church today. I forgot to factor in DST and was super hungry and ended up eating half of one. Water intake was good for the day. Eating was on track until I made myself a bowl of popcorn at 8 pm. I think I'm going to join the no late night snacking challenge too.
11/6: 121.0- I did good today. I finished week 8 day 3 of C25k, which means that I only have 1 more freaking day to go!! I had a salad for dinner too. If I gain tomorrow, I think that it will be due to the broccoli that I ate with my salad. Excited since I did some meal prep for lunches too for the rest of the week.10 -
