@kpondskponds I'm with the others on this. If you don't like oatmeal and bananas for breakfast, don't have it. There's nothing magic about it. Yes, oatmeal is full of fiber and bananas are full of nutrients but so are a lot of other foods. My usual breakfast has become eggs, heavy cream, & cheese microwaved into a fluffy omelet because if I eat a carbohydrate-laden breakfast I have trouble controlling how much I eat the rest of the day.
Do what works for you.

Boy, oh, boy! Is that the hard one or what? I think we all have those times. I almost didn't finish last round because I didn't want to get on the scale to see the damage I'd done with a few days of post-diary snacking. But that's when it's most important to keep ourselves in check, eh?

11/19 251.8 -- One pound less than yesterday. Rather than save calories for evening snacks, I made sure to eat all my calories during the day and finished with supper. I didn’t stay up until the wee hours and I didn’t do any late night post-diary snacking!
11/20 250.2 -- Lowest yet. I will continue getting all calories eaten by the end of supper. If I don’t start to eat after supper I don’t need to figure out how to stop at a time of day (late evening) when I’m least in control of my eating.

11/19 - 155lb. A little more than I weighed last week. No surprise, though, as I ate more than I should have yesterday. It's so cold in my house that it's far too tempting to get another bowl of ramen noodles or porridge, or a hot chocolate. My plan to combat this... tea! I also plan to stay up all night tonight to get some university work done (and fix my sleeping pattern) so tomorrow's weigh-in won't be accurate as it'll be too close to when I last ate.
11/20 - 155lb. I ended up majorly screwing up my sleeping pattern by falling asleep at 9am... for 7 hours... there's no way I'm going to get any sleep tonight I have to give a presentation tomorrow, and it's graded. RIP.

11/19= 223.8 lbs- Well, too bad this wasn't yesterday. I could have had a loss for the last round. Pretty happy to see this drop though! Now...to keep this number through Thanksgiving...that's my goal. Losing would be great, but I'll be happy to stay right here for the next 10 days as long as I don't gain.
11/20= 225.3- I didn't stay where I wanted but I'm still less than R22 EW.

Planning ahead for a small splurge but mostly healthy on TG. We've taken to having sweet potatoes without the sugar & butter (and I love them neat anyway), and I limit the stuffing and make my own cranberry sauce with chopped apple in place of sugar (I'm the only one who eats it, and I like it this way). So the big splurge is pie, and I minimize how much we have. Luckily by hubby isn't a big sweet eater. (To get my pumpkin fix this time of year, I get pumpkin butter and mix a Tbsp into cottage cheese or plain yogurt - yummy!) Everything else in our main dinner is healthy. The past three years I've run a 5K on TG morning, but we're in a different place and I didn't enter a race, so, unless it's pouring rain, I'll do my own private turkey trot. :-) I plan to enjoy TG without overdosing.

11/19 - 102.4kg - I've had 2 high sodium meals (restaurant), so I'm trying to flush it out. Rest day today.
11/20 - 102.6kg - Of course, yesterday being Sunday, I ate for England! - well, within my maintenance allowance, but that is NOT how I'll lose the weight! Had a very restless night and woke up too early. My cat was hit by a car this morning - he died on impact, just felt so out of it today. My daughter is so heartbroken she stayed home from school. Not much of an appetite really - and I feel a horrendous migraine coming on. What a Monday

11/19 - 149.16 This should be normal fluctuation since I have been sticking with the plan. Went to the pub for a drink last night, but we walk there and back which is about .5 mile. The cold and early darkness is making it difficult to get my walks in, but I am determined to keep at it as long as I'm able.
