    Yorkshire puddings with golden syrup
    Milkshake with fries
Salt & Vinegar crisps with chocolate buttons
    One combo I didn't like..prawn cracker + malteser
    Chips, cheese & gravy

I did a really weird one yesterday: crispbread with boursin cheese on it (fine), WITH CHIP SHOP CHIPS ON TOP. It was delish.

the best sandwich ever....off the bbq...mesquite charcoal please...thick sliced sourdough (has to be from san francisco), thick sliced calfs liver and strawberries. a little mayo. the sour from the bread, the sweet from the berries and the liver together is a great completion of flavors.

Thick oatmeal and a fresh orange? Who'd thunk it?!? It sounds interesting and actually absolutely delicious! I'm going to try it with steel cut oats and thanks so much for posting/replying <3B)<3

i'd forgotten all about this thread . . . yes, the salsaghetti.

the orange/oatmeal thing came along during my pregnancy. i didn't get cravings exactly. but i'd wake up with these absolutely debilitating 3am starvations and the only thing that ever slowed them down for even a little while was the oatmeal. i think the oranges started to go in because i have never liked milk and drinking pure oj was making me gain weight much too fast.

it does work, because the oatmeal warms the orange enough to really release the flavour. and then the dead-plain unsalted oatmeal is sort of milky and mild, so it's a nice mix. i would let the oatmeal cool a little bit first because steamed orange isn't actively bad . . . but it's less optimal than it could be.

I always liked eating pieces of any kind of salty sausage (like summer sausage) using yogurt as a dip. Adds some sweetness and tanginess to a savory treat.

I put maple syrup into my rice krispies cereal (w milk). Or at least I used to. Not worth the calories.

I like ketchup on my mac and cheese, on egg, and on hashbrowns. Grosses the SO out, though.

    Yes, ketchup on everything! Lol!

    Sweet potatoes with any greens.

It occured to me this might be fun to find out the "weird" things others eat.

For example, I eat frozen fruit. Tons of it. Just bowls of mixed frozen fruit lol. Frozen mango if its the right type is like delicious soft creamy fudge. Seriously. Discovered this when i had all this fruit for smoothies i never even used because i prefer to chew my food, And it was always way to soggy when thawed.

I also like cheerios and syrup. -shrugs- no explanation for that one its just delicious lol.

And sweet potato fries with chocolate chips/peanutbutter and some cinnamon sugar. That one weirds people out lol

What "weird" foods/combinations have you found? Maybe We can learn some new tricks lol.

The sweet potato fries concoction sounds yummy!
