I want to drop 7 lbs by February 1st! And to do that I need to run 3 times a week. I've been going twice a week til now, but the cold makes me not want to run outside... gonna have to find some motivation!4

mobility....just working on being able to move better...or like I did 5 years ago. Ido Portal and Tapp Brothers stuff has been helpful.3

Lose 2 pounds by the 20th.
That will mean I've achieved my interim goal of losing 50 pounds by the end of the year (started 4/15) and will have gotten to a healthy BMI.
So close....9 -
Recovery from an upcoming surgery on 12/21. I signed up for my first half marathon in March so that I would have some sort of fitness and activity goal to keep me moving while I am limited to mostly cardio. I'll be walking due to my arthritis & limited mobility but my goal will be to finish without being swept.5

To stay on track, I’ve been back in full swing for a full two days after a few months off. The good thing is I’m still within 5 pounds of where I was, which means habits were mostly sticking. I feel good being back, it’s not a negative mindset like I had for awhile. I’m excited about this again. (Which I guess is also my NSV for the week..)5

I've reached a weight lower than when I was 16 years old. Every pound I lose is a new personal record and I find that very motivating. I've also reached a point where I'm physically comfortable but I'm still very motivated to reach my new agressive goal. The comfort of being light is now much more satisfying than cramming junk down my gullet could ever be. And it's something that I experience every minute of every day not for a couple minutes while stuffing my face with crap. The Idea of ignoring my intake is starting to be unthinkable to me and that makes me confident that I've changed my habits for the long run. I'm ecstatic.18

winter vacation with hot tubs and pools.... kill the bikini game4

It's not really a goal but I'm doing a mini cut between Thanksgiving and Christmas.3

I lost 10.5 lbs but got sick for a week. Then I started exercising again, 10,000 steps daily, and the scale shows I've gained a lb, but my huge bum is smaller and so is my back and waist. And I don't even feel bad about the 1 lb gain! I know it's not fat, as I'm smaller, plus had calorie deficits every day this week. It just encourages me by reminding me, that even if losing weight sustainably takes longer, there will still be noticeable results along the way.5

Just updating to say I met my next minigoal two weeks ahead of schedule. I promised myself a Facial when I reached it - so to up the difficulty I have decided to try to be the same weight following Christmas. That should give me chance to lose a bit/gain a bit. Then a pamper in the New Year as a reward. And give my skin a treat following this cold snap we are having at the moment.7

I want to lose 15 lbs before I see my dr again in 6 weeks!6

To drop my bmi from obese to merely fat, by the end of the year! I'm close. Ridiculous how much I'm looking forward to it!
I did it! I've lost 9.3kg and am now overweight instead of obese. Am so happy. Thank-you mfp and thank-you forum people for all of the tips and inspiration!!!15 -
To be able to rug/jog for more than 30 seconds without feeling like I'm going to die.7

Agreed. I like using my old belts because it reminds me of my smaller waist every time I cinch it up!1 -
Goal set 10/22/17:Start 2018 in Onederland.
SW 225, CW 211. Libra says I'm on track for mid December.
I'm trying not to look too far ahead, but rather focus on making choices each day that get me closer to my goals.
Bam! 199.7 this morning. Wasn't expecting this for a few more days (and will feel more real when my trend weight makes it under 200, too), but this was pretty freaking awesome.
Next mini goals:
-Make it through a week of work travel without gaining.
-197 makes me no longer obese. I'm coming for you!
Success! After 5 days of work travel and lots of restaurant meals, I'm 199.1.
I will not be obese in 2018.14 -
To start 2018 under 100Kg, 2.3Kg to remove. With pure dedication I'm sure I can do it4
-
Five pounds ...and start exercising again4
-
I'm 4 lbs off from "normal" BMI. I'm not sure I'll make it this month because my December goal is maintenance rather than loss, but I'll make it soon.5
-
Wow! I just hit "normal" BMI! Just barely... but I'm there!14
-
Two mini goals for me.... stop drinking... day one was last night! And number 2 is to get my fitness motivation back.15
-
Oddly enough, my mini goal is a typo. I went to the doctor's office, and during my checkup, the PA accidentally wrote down 211 instead of 221. I saw the typo on my online chart, and I thought about calling the office to make the correction. My next appointment is on January 8, so instead of calling, I decided to make getting to 211 my mini goal. I'm at 213.6 right now!30
-
Mini goal. To lose 30lbs by new years. I'm at 24lbs rn (tomorrows my weekly weighin) could be less or could be more. I am being very patient with my body this time around.4
-
Maintaining my loss through December. Will work on the last 10 pounds in 2018.5
-
To get into the nice size 10 shorts I have by summer 2018 xx5
-
Mine are, first to get under 190, then to get to 182, which is what I weighed at the doctor's office several years ago, and then to get to 173, when I will finally be obese no longer! I'm at 194 right now, so I'm close to my first goal!9
-
Being in the normal BMI range!! I’m at 27 right now!6

After a year or two 140-145 (just barely under "overweight" bmi), I have entered the 130s!! I have not touched the dreaded 140s for close to a month now and I can barely believe it. Whenever I feel like fudging or not sticking with my goals, I remind myself how close I am to getting back into the 140s and every decision counts8
-
Congratulations1
-
My mini goals: Record all of my meals and snacks, get 8 hours of sleep EVERY night, drink at least 2L water daily.7

Congratulations! Thanks for the reminder and inspiration. I keep bouncing 2 pounds between 129-131. So close to saying Good-by to the 130s. You are right, every decision counts.4
