My very mini goal is to get to 195 this week6

155lbs. I’m going to buy myself something when I get there5
-
My mother and I are racing to loose 20lb, the winner gets their house cleaned by the loser (: lol!24

Losing 10 percent of my SW (352.6 pounds), since that's always the medical trope. Only 5.1 pounds to go as of this morning!14
-
Getting my nose all the way to the floor when I do push-ups. Those last few inches are REALLY tough!9
-
I want to be able to do a set of 10 push ups, getting nose as close as possible to floor without resting on floor. I can do this as incline using my Reebok step on highest setting so far5

March 1st I decided to change my lifestyle and really lose the weight once and for all. I started out at 214 and got down to 196 before I got depressed, lost motivation, and started slipping. Then, my mother passed away.
From June until October 23rd I gained back all but 3 of those pounds I lost started at 211 this time. I am down to 200.6 now and want to get down to 196 or below by the new year. It will put me back where I was finally and feel more like a true starting point.
I was 195.6 as of 12/25. I think there will only be a small loss on 1/1 or I will just end up maintaining, but still I made my goal. I am under 196!
Next mini goal is to get out of the 190s! Hopefully by the end of January.
189.4 as of this morning 1/14!
My next mini goal is to lose 10 lbs so I can get out of the 180s and no longer be obese just overweight.
Let's try for the first week in March? Will update when I reach it.
February and March were rough months for me. I recorded my first ever gain from week to week in January and by February my mind was just in a bad place.
I had been eating at a deficit for over three months at that point and the weight just wasn't moving the way it once did.
I got overwhelmed, I got complacent, and I just stopped tracking and going to the gym. I didn't really gain any weight (thank goodness) besides some water weight, but I didn't lose any weight either.
Two weeks ago I decided after weeks of saying I was going to get back on the horse to actually get back on the horse.
Finally reached 179.8 lbs today which means I am no longer obese. It didn't even hit me until I was out today clothes shopping that I have finally done it. I'm no longer obese.
Just wanted to update to encourage people who sometimes have a hard time. You'll get there even if it takes longer than you'll think. You'll get there.
So next mini goal. . .under 170. I'll update when I make it.
Drumroll please.
Ladies and gentlemen as of today I am finally under 170 lbs!
I started my journey on MFP back on October 23 at 211 lbs. My first real goal in my mind was to get to 170 lbs. I hadn't weighed 170 lbs since my freshman year of college. I have tried losing the weight many times, but every time I would lose some weight and then gain much, much more. Never, ever getting this low.
I never thought I would see the day again I was under 170 lbs. These last few weeks have been hard. So many days I felt like I was working and working for nothing, but this is proof that it does pay off eventually. I could cry I'm so happy.
So next goal is to make it under 160 lbs. Won't that be surreal.
As of this morning's weigh in, I am under 160 lbs.
I lied about being 160 lbs on my driver's license almost a decade ago now and never changed it nor ever reached that number. Now I'm under 160 lbs. Under it.
This means that I have lost over 50 pounds since I started trying to lose the weight this last time on October 23rd. I am also only 10 pounds or so away from a normal BMI now.
I never imagined I'd get here.
Next mini goal: get under 150 lbs which was my original ultimate weight loss goal and will give me a normal BMI and then we'll start working on vanity weight.
There may be another update since this one but I just wanted to say how great it was reading all of your quotes and to see how exciting it was when you reached each goal!
I just realized, after reading this, that my license still says the weight I was when I first got it as a teenager, I'm still about 20 lbs away, but much closer than when I started. It will be fun to hit that number again!5 -
To be able to get back to my regular running. Curse knee injuries!! 3 months sidelined is too long!5
-
My mini goal was to get back into my old big pants ( which I outgrew in October) That hasn't quite happened yet, but my current bigger pants are getting loose! I went to hear my favorite 80s cover band last night, and as soon as I started to dance, my pants started to fall off! I folded over the waistband and danced cautiously.4
-
Getting to 131, 3lbs less than now. I will have lost 45lbs then.9
-
I want to beat my 5K PR at my race tomorrow even though it will be -22C outside! Hoping for around 37 minutes (I am not fast...).6
-
Just realised that I’ve lost 10% of my SW and am only 2lbs off losing 2 stone. Need to figure out what my next goal is going to be.3
-
Today, I hit the last of my three mini goals! I've lost 15+ lbs, passed 190 and am now 189.2, so in the 180s! I'm so happy! Now my next mini goals are reaching 20 lbs lost at 186, then reaching 182, which is what I weighed at a doctor's visit years ago, and always want to be at or lower when I go in for a check-up. Then 25 lbs lost at 181. So every few lbs will be motivating!4
-
I joined a diet bet and my first mini goal is to lose 3% of my body weight. I love that I can get paid to lose weight!

Well I don't think I got 37 minutes but I was around 38 minutes even (no official times) and that beats my August PR of 38:37!
New goal: Do all my scheduled January runs for HM training and also add in moderate strength work.5 -

Friend's wedding in 5 weeks! Then will find another mini goal1 -
7kg by Easter - then I can start to think about how best to move onto a maintenance regime1
-
Bond with my bikes again - the indoor one is easy to bond with but the outdoor one is a bit nervous of UK January weather! I know, I'm a bit of a wuss. Just got to get on with it.3

I've got a few articles of clothing that still fit but not as comfortably as I'd like and I'm looking forward to feeling good in those again soon!3

My mini goal is The Strawberry Festival in mid-March. Last year we decided to go for the first time in many years. It wore me out walking around, and even though I was happy to be with my family while they were riding roller coasters it made me sad that I was too big to get on any of them myself. I may still be too big to ride anything with my kids this year, but I won't be the reason we can't spend the whole day walking around.10

I love the Strawberry Festival! I will be going also. Have a great time.0 -
Completing C25K (I'm on W4) and complete my first 5k on March 31!3
-
My motivation is to be able to walk without my knees hurting from all the weight10

My husband and I are going on our first kidless vacation since having kids in about a month and a half (our kids are 10 and 7). I've set my goal to lose 5 lbs by then. Ideally, I'd like to lose more but I'm not sure that is realistic. Then, my next goal will be another 5 lbs by the end of March when we hit up SoCal for spring break and then another 5 lbs by the end of July to be at my goal weight by the time my 20 year high school reunion rolls around.9

My mini goal is fitting into the 4 pairs of pants in my closet that are just a bit too small. I currently only have 1 pair that fits and mostly live in leggings7

I work in 5# goals too. It seems so achievable.1 -
My mini-goal right now is to get back to my lowest adult weight at 182...I let myself go a bit and gained 20 back...then after that I am going to go in 10 lb increments because my body can hold on to 5-7 lbs of water weight easily.3
-
Onederland!!! I'm 4.5lbs away.14
-
2.5 pounds and make it to the 150's6
-
I have two graduations I have to attend in the late spring so I’m dropping 25lbs for that and also fitting in my old mini skirt.4
