    Hahaha, YES! I actually don't wear it very often because it is a little shorter than I prefer but I wore it to the pumpkin patch recently and rocked it. LOL

    I started my weight loss journey in August 2014. I was nearly 300 pounds, a mother of three, and very depressed. I was addicted to food. I was becoming a hermit. My life revolved around what I should eat, shouldn't eat, wanted to eat, and couldn't eat. I had tried to lose weight many times with small losses and large gains.
    My aha moment was walking through Sam's Club with my husband. I was out of breath, my joints ached, I was waddling, and I could just FEEL my weight everywhere. I decided to speak with my Dr and through research of my own found that a low carb diet is best for women with PCOS.
    I began a low carb, no refined sugar, no alcohol, portion control lifestyle. Within two weeks I lost twenty pounds and my cravings were almost non existent. I needed something that I could fit into my lifestyle and follow long term and this happened to be it. After a few months I started walking five times a week and lifting twice a week. Today I do several cardio workouts 6 times a week (Zumba, C25k, PiYo) and lift with a trainer twice a week. I feel amazing. I am active all the time. I can't remember the last time I've sat on the couch and watched TV like I used to do every night for HOURS. I have gotten my life back and this time is for good!     Hi you've done really well you look so good I have been trying a low carb diet for about 7 weeks but only lost about 8lb maybe I'm eating too much

    Amazing job. You should be very proud of yourself. This is not an easy thing to do. I have reached a plateau after losing 24 pounds and I am trying to reduce calories to lose more weight. My scales have not changed in weeks. Any advice would be helpful?

    I am a firm believer that different things work for different people. If it doesn’t feel right to you try something else, you need to find that balance.

    Thank you! I hear Lauren Conrad A LOT. Lol. Ever since “The Hills” became popular people have told me that. A friend of mine saw a magazine cover one time and had to do a double take.

    I did low carb/keto and tried to stay around 1500 calories per day. I cut out sugar, empty carbs, etc. and focused on healthy carbs, fat, and protein. You can do it!

    When I was doing keto I tried to stay below 20 net grams of carbs a day. So you take your total carbs and subtract out any fiber or sugar alcohols to get the net carbs. I also was sugar free or very low sugar to stay in ketosis. I made my own dressings, etc. everything has sugar in it! Food companies know its addicting so they put it in everything in order to keep you buying their product. It’s crazy. Keto is high fat, moderate protein, and low carb. Good luck!
