Unfortunately it don't. It states "services which are not available in their immediate area of residence" and there is a doctor that is 2 hours away that dose it too but he's booked up and long list to see him. I dont have said long time.
I would apply anyway. Two hours is not immediate area and you have a time related urgency
get on to them and make them tell you
1. You have to wait for the doctor two hours away
or
2. they won't fund you to travel
get it all recorded then start phoning whoever you can think of: political reps, TV stations, newspapers, radio stations6 -

I realise you want to get this surgery as soon as possible, that's very understandable - so maybe try and set this up for afterwards. It isn't just the financial cost of travel, it's a hassle for you as well. Plus if you need more urgent treatment having a doctor locally with all your records is a good idea. Good luck with it all in any case
It maybe possible but there is anywhere to a year to five year wait to see these doctors only reason I'm seeing the doctor that I'm seeing now is he did my mothers Sergey 10 years ago and he knows our illness. And before i moved the doc i seen was more local but due to illness and money troubles it was eather move or live on the street.

Can you talk directly with your current doctor and explain the situation? See if he can refer you as an urgent case to the nearer doctor, along with all your records and results?
And tell the same thing to the Income Support folks - it's one thing for them to say they can't fund you because there's a nearer doctor who could deal with you, but if he has a long waiting list and you need treatment urgently then they ought to be able to either help with getting you seen faster or stump up the funds for the trip to the person who CAN help you in a timely fashion.1 -

I'm getting a video together even 30 seconds saying what it's for would really help
I'm going to try and do a Video done up but I'm really bad with words and worse when it comes to being on camera i may have to write what I'm going to say first.
YES
write down exactly what information you want to share. Edit it, get someone to check it, then just read it out
create a Twitter account, make your post with the gofundme link and video your 'pinned tweet' then get everyone to retweet it
happy to help if you need it
Getting someone to check it will be key i cant spell for the life of me lol.

I'd just be looking for an advocate
a Member of Parliament or somebody else. Ridiculous situation that you can't get help
I know the Canadian Health Care system is not meant to work like this0 -

I was talking to the doctors office Tuesday she faxed the paperwork to income support saying i have a appointment and that it is necessary for me to be there Income support to date says they have not got the fax and it can take 48+ hours for any fax to get in there system and they can (or will not ) do anything untell they get this paper. I phoned the doctor office today to get it faxed again (income support is bad for losing things when they dont want to help you at least that what it seems to be in my case cuz this is not the first time they lost paperwork)

It is precisely because of garbage like this that I say 'contact an elected representative' and get that person to shake the tree as hard as possible
they start getting pressure they will help asap
you have rights3 -

Find my self in a rock and a hard place there too government made said rules.
The mha has been usefully in the past but it seems like sence the new party came in thongs have just got worse because sence they have income support seems like they have stopped carering.
Its like they dont care that i have 3 tomours that need to be removed they dont care that there is a 75% chase that they are cancer they dont care that if the Sergey not dont my calcium will will go so high that my heart will fail.

And if they don't, go to a local newspaper or radio station and make a fuss to get yourself noticed.
My boss likes to say that "the squeaky wheel gets the oil" - it's not right that a person should have to make a scene to get the help they need, but it sounds like that's what you might have to do.4 -
And dont get me wrong i know the rules are put there in place for a reason and what not but there needs to be room for common sense and leaway there somewhere ( Alltho i had some one tell me common sence ant to common anymore its now a a freakin supper power and to date i still believe theses words to be true)2

Great!!
Get in touch and ask 'is there anything you can do to help?'
They then might know someone who can reach influential people - get your story out there!!
I also tell you this because if you do reach out and get the help you need the benefit will go way beyond getting financial and medical help. Your self confidence, mood, positivity and all kinds will improve. Just doing something novel will have benefits on your health
And you never know who is going to be listening and what they might do when they hear your story.
Rooting for you buddy2 -
Follow up on the go fund me thing sence i made it i have reaches what i was looking for i set the goal low because i hates asking0

A good way to do the video is as an interview
Have a list of questions, have someone ask them and give the answers to the interviewer
then at the end turn to camera and ask the viewer to click on the link...
make sure you appeal for help - that is known as a "call to action" and it will make a huge difference to the response - say something like
"Please having heard my story, if you can help me out just a little bit, click on the link.."2 -
So I just checked back on the GoFundMe and... Yeah, I'm at work getting teary-eyed.5

Another thought re: securing assistance.
Does the doctor you are seeing or the hospital she or he is affiliated with have a social work/social services department or an ombudsperson that you could reach out to? These folks will know who to call (in terms of social service agencies, government offices, etc.). They might even be able to do some of this outreach for you, given you are an established patient or will be soon (in the case of the hospital.)1 -

I would have to say i would never have thought of that.

I will look into that there might just be. There might just that one person that i have not talked to that can help or point me to someone that can.

I dont think i ever said what it is i have that i see so many doctors.
I have Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 or Wermer's syndrome is part of a group of disorders, the multiple endocrine neoplasias, that affect the endocrine system through development of neoplastic lesions in pituitary, parathyroid gland and pancreas. At present i have tumors on my pituitary (they wont do Sergey to risky) , parathyroid, and my pancreas and that's just what they know of from the test they can do.4 -
I'm looking for Canadian organizations that specifically address people living with the disease you have. So far, I found the following organization. It appears to be an all-volunteer organization. If you can reach them, they might be able to provide some help or at least refer you elsewhere.
Canadian Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Society, Inc.
1432 107th Street
North Battleford, S9A 19
Canada
Tel: 3064458436
Fax: 3064458436
Email: hockey_freak99@hotmail.com
I'll see if I can find other organizations.6 -
