12/31-141 I should be dropping within the next couple days....When I see myself at the same weight for about 4-6 days, I know that there is going to be a loss of fat weight. It gives me encouragement!! Today will be day 28 of the 30 Day Shred....what a rough workout, but it definitely is kicking my butt into losing fat!!

It's not supposed to be this cold in Florida, and all my warm coats are at home.

1/6: 173.4 All this bike riding and walking along with eating fresh fish while on vacation in Florida is working, but back to reality tomorrow. Flight back to Tennessee leaves early in the morning. I’ll have to find another way to burn calories. Will complete the 100 mi challenge today with one last ride on the Pinellas Trail.

01/02: Woke up late; had already started drinking coffee before I remembered I was supposed to weigh. Didn't sleep much last night. So many doctors appt. and I'm already tired. But nobody told me that the road would be easy; I don't believe He brought me this far to leave me!

Got a new med from the urologist for bladder urgency, now I am holding fluid! Plus my granddaughter cooked some greens using country salt cured meat, so they were full of sodium. I ate them all. Need to push more water. Doctor's appt. for today cancelled due to inclement weather, so I'm going to get my hair done!

Went totally crazy last night; my grandson came home with a box of hot, cheesy, bacony breadsticks, and told me to help him eat them. So I ended up eating 5 (yes f i v e) breadsticks and a slice of pound cake my granddaughter made! I have no excuse; I just don't know exactly how I felt last night! I know it was related to emotional eating, but I have yet to figure out why! Thank God today is a new day! His mercies are new every morning!

Almost forgot to log my weight today! Been running all day today; got the oil changed in car. Found another great MIM recipe; this one uses flax seed meal which is a great source of fiber! I might try it with some sausage tomorrow. I have some pork sausage cooked with onions and bell peppers in the fridge leftover from another recipe. I'll let you know how it turns out! Been pushing water; got over 12 cups today and yesterday! Eight days down; two more to go!

So the last round was a real kick in the teeth. I never thought I'd see those numbers again. The New Year is right around the corner though and I have my will power back so I know I'll do well eventually. The fact that I'm posting on here and being honest is a huge deal. I used to always hide my defeats. It's nice to be able to show them and be accountable and still remain determined. I broke a rib (no exercise allowed for 6 weeks!) and I've got TOM visiting this round.

@ggilson13 You don’t have to give up your Starbucks, just order Skinny or fat free sugar free or however YOU want it. I have been told different definitions of SKINNY by different locations so when I did WW I ordered FF,SF just to be safe.

I am going to jump in mid-challenge if that is o.k. I did these 10 day challenges for a while last spring, but really let myself go throughout the fall, and even more since Thanksgiving. I have started to eat lots of "crap" again and stopped logging. As a result, I am currently just under 149 pounds, from a low of 137 last April. I started at 193 in July of 2016. I'd like to get back down to 140 in the next 2 months. I joined a gym in late November, but have not been going. I am committing to change to be healthier, in both the amount and quality of food I eat, and in getting regular exercise.

12/29 218.3 Mom is out of the hospital, thank goodness, and is scheduling an appointment with her Mayo drs. I'm glad to not have gained any weight these last 10 days. I still have New Year's Eve and my birthday to get through! I can do this!

12/29: 162.5 I feel very dehydrated this morning. Got a good run in yesterday, decent amount of water, too. But then I fell into a bad habit of snacking last night before bed. Not feeling optimistic today; I should go exercise now.
12/30: 162.4 Better than a gain... I did start up with my weights again yesterday; I am so sore today! Started to track, but lost momentum after going out to lunch with my daughter. Going to try again today. Lots of water, too.

1/1: 161.9 Happy New Year! My daughter made a delicious vegan butternut squash soup last night. Coconut milk instead of cream. Leftovers today.
1/2: 162.2 Up and down... have a feeling it will be this way for awhile until I settle into my routine again. We took the tree down yesterday. DH and my kids still have another week off, but I go back to work today.
1/3: 162.1 Good run on the treadmill last night; still getting into the chocolate in the evenings, though... have been toying with the idea of doing a cleanse.
1/4: 162.7 Daily weighing's got me down.
1/5: 163.2 Going to focus on the water for the next two days, see if I can get back into a groove. My goal today: every time I want something sweet, drink some water instead.

Got a late start posting, as I’ve been on the road home through the Rockies for 3 days.

Starting my road trip today! My goal is to avoid all carbs during the drive.

Yay! I stopped a couple of hours into my drive to meet my aunt and her bestie for lunch. Both are really supportive of my journey and are on similar paths themselves. I was able to stick to just an ahi tuna steak, salad, and cauliflower mash for the meal, which set me up for most of the day! Stuck to protein-based snacks and stayed hydrated for the rest of the drive!

Awesome! I’m only 5 lbs away from my next goal, which is to lose 64 lbs; 20% of my starting body weight. And I only have about a 4-hour drive to get the rest of the way home. Can’t wait to see my man and my kitties!

1/1: 189.4 retaining some water from a heavy New Year's Eve dinner and regretting it! Got a good workout in.

12/29 - 12st 7 starting again. I CAN do 10 days in a row... reasonable calories, stronglifts, sleep training the toddler a little
12/30 - 12st 6.9 oh dear. Late night snacks. On the plus side, did get 1 year old to fall asleep not on the breast or walking around the room. He didn't like it much, even with cuddles!
12/31 - 12st 7.7 body noticed the extra chocolate then...better behaved today
1/1 - 12st 7.7 working today 24h not snacking too much so hopefully will lose tomorrow!
1/2 - 12st 1.0 ok! There goes the water weight
1/3 - 12st 3.4 And that is the result of alcohol. Late celebration as I was working New Years
1/4 - 12st 6.1 Arguing and sleep deprivation. Determined that i won't be up every 90 minutes in the night for the next 3 years...

Good morning Fit Fam!
I will also be jumping back in (those of you who know me...you get it) as this is my first day back to work after the holidays. I did well for the last week bring out of routine and balancing choices and desires...most of the time, the scale tipped the desires but hey - somehow it balanced out.
