Also how often I'd need to get new belts. It got to the point where I finally just bought one that has holes all throughout it.
I bought a $10 belt hold punch on amazon. It has a rotating head so you can pick the size of the hole you want.
Nail set and a hammer is much cheaper, especially if you already have them.
A good shoe repair place can shorten a favorite belt from the buckle end.14 -
Everything feels different. Am nearly 50lbs down and now I am constantly find new bones and different fat pocket things.
Especially with the remaining fat areas. The fat feels different now there is less. It's more that I can feel it moving over muscle and bone and it feels gross. When I was at my heaviest nothing could be felt, it was just solid fat lol
Does anyone else get this?23 -
To wear all the clothes you want to and look awesome in them!!14

Ladies, I'm I the only one having bra comfort issues? I feel like my bra keeps rubbing on my rib cage and it's very annoying and uncomfortable. The band is not tight. All the cushing from fat tissue is going away and creating more discomfort for me. I could get a large band bra but that means going up a cup size and well that's too big. I really don't want to wear braletes. I prefer padded bra for a little push up. It's a better look with the tops I wear.4

Do you have any option to just wear sports bras or something like that until you hit your goal weight? Bras not fitting well is a big deal if internet horror stories about chafing, etc. are to be believed. But of course bras are expensive do you don't want to reinvest too often, especially when your body is in the process of changing sizes. Of course, a sports bra is not much better than a bralette in this situation, but I'm just trying to think in terms of temporary cost savings.4

Maybe try to get fitted? My bra size changes every 15-20 pounds so maybe that’s true for you also.
I’ve noticed my bras getting less comfortable when they get too big, especially the bandsize. The wire then sits in the wrong place and hurts

Not creating a ‘dam effect’ in the bath because the water flows freely around your bum and hips better when you move. Also, the bath towel finally wrapping around sufficiently so you are not considered a flasher when you go from bathroom to bedroom36

Yes and how much cheaper they are! And how you can go anywhere and not a specialized plus size store. Ugh I'm so happy. I live on a tight budget and buying new clothes always broke the bank. Now I can go right to the clearance rack and I know my size will be there.17 -

Also, I don’t care what people say, I now believe that leggings are pants...mainly because my booty deserves to be flaunted.
Hahaha love this. But question: because of my apple shape (and therefore relatively skinny legs) I've basically always worn leggings as pants, albeit with a shirt that covers at least to my butt. Is wearing leggings as pants 'for real' different, like with a normal-length shirt? Like, is the booty an integral part of the process or can I also be in the leggings-are-pants club?
I am a pear shape...meaning I may always have a couple of lumpy bits back there lol!!! But I still got a new booty when I lost weight and I love showing it off! Now that I am less insecure about my body (most days) I know I have a right to show it, and in fact I always have (no matter my weight). What I mainly meant was that I have worked so hard to get where I am that I will be damned if I am going to hide behind a baggy sweatshirt and oversized jeans. I don’t think anyone should do that and it’s a shame that we let others dictate what we can and can’t wear. So, Miss Apple Body...wear it, flaunt it, shake what yo momma gave ya! :-)20 -
You will sometimes get annoyed or even angry when people offer you seconds or say you "deserve" a treat. I'm trying to lose weight! Extra calories means more work for me! Back off! (I'm still training my boyfriend about this).
Omg yes literally all the time. I hang out with friends a lot, maybe about once every two to three days and each friend group always tells me “you deserve a treat every once in awhile.” Like if I did that each time I hung out with friends I wouldn’t even be losing any weight... so frustrating19 -
So cold all the time. ...never used to get cold before weight loss. ..9

It annoys me too, but you gotta understand, that they are not coming from a bad place, but just food mostly seen as treat when you go out for a cake/lunch/drink with your mates.7 -

This is me too. I tell anyone I'm talking to what I'm doing and what I'll do when we go out. I won't go for a drink or appetizers and prefer to go somewhere I can control my food intake. If they don't like it well then they're not for me anyhow. This is my lifestyle. You're on board or you're out. Lol

My b-movements are a regular and does not have an odor since I've been eating plant-based meals, plenty of fresh fruits, and drinking plenty of water. I noticing that my skin is clearing up and the natural color is returning to my skin. I'm also breathing better... I can totally feel my lungs expanding fully with air!24

I just noticed this one in the last few months too. Several co-workers act like they have to explain why they are eating pizza or why they got a milkshake. I want to say "I really don't give a hoot what you eat." But I just say something banal like "Looks yummy"...cuz honestly it probably does, but seriously. Eat what you want, people. I certainly do and don't explain it.18
