I’d like to get back to running and try CrossFit. Girls who lift heavy are amazing.

Okay, so maybe my standards are a little lower than ya'll, but:
    * to walk up the stairs to my third floor office without my knee giving out

I feel ya! Mine is currently to be able to squat to the floor and return to standing unassisted, also without my knees giving out.

My running and triathlon goals are written and shared with my coach. With that said, one that I've never written down (until now, haha) is to reach the podium in my age group in a triathlon. That goal is a stretch. :)

Get through the Lake Placid 13.1 without any injuries/problems.
Sub 3:00 at Tinman Tupper Lake Olympic. Doable, if I'm smart. I think.
A sub 2:45 at Xterra Syracuse. Probably a stretch, but I refuse to bump it up to 3 hours.

Hmm. I wanted to ride my bike to and from work each day but my disabilities make that an unsafe proposition. So I guess my semi-secret goal is to do hula hoop tricks, not just hoop in place around my waist.

You should go for it. It's an amazing total body workout. It works your strength, balance, flexibility too. It's tough stuff, but the more you go I found it became a little easier.

I want to eventually make it into the 50-400 club. Complete a 50 mile run and be able to deadlift 400lbs.

This is a good one. I've dabbled at the thought of it as well. But I just don't know if I want to endure a 50 miler. I know I'm physically capable, but 36 is good enough for me at this time. I haven't hit 400 dead yet, but I'm not too far away.

Are you doing the LP half this year?
I'm actually thinking of signing up for Quassy or Syracuse in June. Just for the hills and fun. Have you done either?

A friend of mine was to compete in Boston last Sunday for top 10 in the world (age group). Trained all year. Coach was there. Family emergency the day before and he had to fly out.
