I am SO far behind in all these posts --- like 9 pages back!!! I know I can't possibly read all the posts to catch up on what I missed, but I did see that I missed 2 very important birthdays!
SO @Bex953172 -- HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! I hope you had a great birthday. and I LOVE the picture of your precious little girls!!!! They are so cute, and I can tell, they have some spunk in them!! I wish I could go and hug them all! And whats this ---- your already down to your pre-pregnancy weight!! WOW --- awesome job!!!!!
and @OConnell5483 --- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hope you are feeling better, and are able to take it kinda easy at your job until you are back to 100%. I know how hard it is to get sick when you start a new job... but hopefully they are easy on you.
I hate missing your birthdays - but I hope you both had great ones!
And @HGSmith0920 -- CONGRATS on your new job!! It sounds awesome, and sounds like a job that was meant to be. I always say things happen when they are suppose to. This job sounds like the perfect job for you -- so happy for you!
@toaljasa -- are you really down almost 20 pounds since January!! WOW -- awesome!! You inspire me everyday. And you are always there giving so many others motivation! so happy you are part of this thread --- now -- I need to get with it, and get that scale moving! I turn 67 in July --- somehow, I've got to get out of those 190s!!
For so many of you sick -- I hope you all feel better soon! This crazy up and down weather I'm sure is not helping with people getting sick. You all take good care of yourselves!
I would love to respond to so many posts, but I just don't have the time to read all of them. I can't believe how much I have missed!
I have been watching what I eat, but this morning my weight was back up to 194 - so apparently, I'm not watching it close enough. We went up to the funeral for the past 2 days, and while it was a depressing trip, it was actually a small getaway my husband and I needed. We drove around the town we both lived in for so many years, and while it was sad because so much has changed, and most of my family is gone, it was fun. We ate at a Italian restaurant where we had our first date, 45 years ago (and shared an entire bottle of wine)!! It was so much fun!! I had the lasagna (which is what I had on our first date). The inside of the restaurant had changed, but the outside was the same. We drove by the apartment where I lived, and the house my husband lived in before we met. (and remembered all the time we spent kissing and making out on the front porch -- yes, we used to be young LOL!). And as hard as it was going to the funeral of someone so young, we were so happy we went, and I got a chance to see all my sisters children .... who have always been like my own children. They are a hurting family, and I was glad I was there, and also got a chance to visit my sisters gravesite. Depressing as it was, especially since all my siblings have passed. We always made so many trips there to see my brothers and sister, and they are all gone. But ... I have the best nieces and nephews, and so proud of them, and so happy I could be with them.
Our son and his sons are coming in next tuesday, so I am hoping to eat healthy while they are here, but again, I am not sure how much time I will have to get on here again. We are hoping our son will open up to what is happening with the divorce. He does not tell us much, so as a mom, I always imagine the worse, and imagine him being very depressed because he does not respond to phone calls and emails. I know he is just busy though. ... but its still hard. The 2 grandsons tend to be up at 6am every morning, but hopefully I can get on so I don't get so far behind on all thats happening with you guys!
So tomorrow I need to get back on track!!!

Yesterday's commitments:
- Log everything I eat
- Drink 3 large water bottles Think I only had one, need to work on this one!
- 30 minute lunch break - meditate or read Le Monde/ French vocab Only took about 15 mins - was rather pushed for time
- Stick to food plan I had planned exactly what I was going to eat, but then the restaurant didn't have a table!! So we went to another restaurant - and without a plan, I ended up getting something way more fattening. Oh well, I will do better next time. Maybe I should have had a back up plan
- Leave work by 5pm I'm not sure why I wrote 5, I meant 5.30. But actually, it was a bit later (5.50)
Today's commitments:
- Log everything I eat
- Drink 3 large water bottles
- Stick to food plan
- Go to gym at lunch OR later on if electrician hasn't been by then
- Have a 1h lunch break, regardless
- Plan to-do list
- Stop work by 7pm

@joan6630 I'm so sorry about the death in your family. But I'm glad that you got to spend some time in your hometown. I've only ever really lived in very close proximity to my home(except for a failed year at college and I was only an hour away and home every other weekend). With the exception of my parents, all the rest of my family is in Northern New York. At least 6 hours away and my brother is an hour and a half away in Philly. I never see him though. He doesnt have a car and I refuse to drive in that city(bad experience) so I kind of feel your pain.
I actually slept through most of the night! That very rarely ever happens. Lol. Usually, the cat wakes me up around 330 or 4. Well, he waited until 5 this morning and he didnt even mean to. Lol. He was using his box and I woke up terrified because I didnt know what the sound was. Lol. It took a while to fall back to sleep. I only slept for another 20 minutes before I had to get up. Lol.
I hope everyone is sleeping well! Work is 7:45 to 3:45 and then I'm going over the M&M's for dinner because the DH is closing tonight. I'll try and get on before tonight!3 -
And Daddy just called me and told me that there is a large tree down at the top of my part of the driveway. So he's going to have to drive me to work which is going to be a pain. There is a whole system for getting into the bank in the morning and it's going to be all screwed up. Thank goodness it's not just me and someone else opening. It would have been an even bigger pain. Although now the DH and I dont have to figure out the car situation. The tree should be moved and most of the snow melted by the time he has to leave at 1.3

@HGSmith0920 Yea!!! I'm so glad your first day went well!! From what you wrote, it sounds like this bank is the perfect fit for you. Very happy for you!3 -
AND I got a phone call about 5 minutes before I was going to leave that work has a delayed start!
Daddy moved the tree mostly out of the way and helped me dig out our cars. I was able to get them up the driveway, around the tree and into the parking lot(plowed!) next door. It's supposed to be in the 40's for the rest of the week and then the 50's the beginning of April(YAAAY!!!!) so it's going to be INCREDIBLY muddy here for a while. We got 7 inches that are going to melt VERY quickly. Lol. I think I am going to park up there for the next few days and wear a pair of ratty sneakers for the walk up. Maybe even a pair of ratty jeans as well. I dont want to slosh mud all over my work pants. Lol
What a morning! Lol3 -
My morning currently. Lol. That is Panda(the sometimes evil cat! Lol). If you look closely you can see that this webpage is open on my laptop! Lol2 -
Does anyone one know to post a picture from an android phone? This whole emailing it to myself and then downloading then uploading is getting annoying. Lol

@joan6630 Welcome back! You were missed around here. Funerals have that bittersweet taste to them. The unfortunate event also lends itself to reunions, homecomings, reminiscing, and reminders that life is precious. What a wonderful time you and you husband had walking down memory lane. Thank you for sharing your sweet, sweet memories. It was a lovely read.
Now: Operation Red Cup! Get back on the journey. Perhaps a mini-goal for you: set a realistic goal as to where you want to be on your 67th birthday. Then write it down. Throw away any food bombs laying around to ensnare you and let's get focused and intense through July! What a fantastic birthday gift for yourself. We are all here to rah rah you along if you so choose to take up this challenge!
Keep us posted on your daughter.
Peace and joy3 -

1. Log all food Went over M&M's and she did the lil of this and lil of that again. All I know was that it was chicken, rice, and tomato sauce. Lol
2. At LEAST 64oz water I'm not sure the exact amount but I had two 24 bottles at work and an 18oz glass at M&M's earlier. I'm also drinking 32oz now and will probably drink another before I go to bed. So probably twice that! Lol
3. Up by 6 Dumb cat(actually wasn't REALLY his fault this time.) Lol
4. Coffee/Breakfast Actually remembered to eat breakfast today! I thought I was going in really early so I figured I would need to eat something to make it through the morning. Turns out I didnt go in until 10. Lol
5. Bible/Quiet time / I love my meditation/prayer time. I'm glad I got that in this morning.
6. Yoga! I totally could but by the time I found out I was going in late I was already showered, dressed and make-uped for the day
7. Remember lunch!!!! I ate waaaay too fast today though. I was n a group message with some dear friends.
Then a bunch of my back office coworkers came into the break room and wanted to get to know me. It was lovely.
But I was really distracted. Lol
8. Leave by 7:15 Delayed opening. Left at 9:35
9. Work 745-4(ish) 10-415
10. M&M's(Dinner/Needles) Just dinner and conversation but that was more than enough!
11. Leftovers ready for DH dinner He should be leaving any minute. I'm gonna heat up the food M gave me from tonight. I think he will appreciate it.
12. Shower I should do this now. Lol. Maybe when I'm done with this. Lol
13. Bed by 12 Most likely. If not earlier. We like to catch up on each others days now that we're both working again so maybe a bit later. He still has a half an hour drive ahead of him.
TODAY WAS AWESOME!!!!
It was pretty slow because about a foot of snow was dumped on us overnight. About 2/3 of it is melted now because it was almost 50F out this afternoon. Lol. But I got to do a whole bunch of different transactions and learned a few more things about the teller system they used. I had a really good break with my fellow bankers which was really awesome. I still dont have the courage to bring my phone out onto the floor so I pretty much ignore it in my bag for most of the day. I dont think about it often because the other tellers and I spend a huge amount of time chatting. Lol. I got out at about 4:15 and went right over to M&M's where I had a really relaxing evening. Wonderful food, even better people and a lovable cat with a broken tail. Lol. It was just a really, REALLY great day. I see many more of these in my future. Lol.
Tomorrow is going to be simple I think.

I actually slept really well last night! I dont remember what woke me up this morning. I just remember waking up for a spell and then cuddling with the DH and falling back to sleep before the alarm went off. It couldn't have been too early because I think it was partially light out. Lol.
I got up way earlier then I needed to this morning because I had to run to the store to pick up milk and use the ATM. It's a usual Friday morning run that I do before anything else. I pick up coffee when I'm there. It was actually really REALLY busy this morning. Usually, it's not THAT busy at 7 in the morning. Lol. But I got what I needed and got out of there. I was able to park in front of my house too! The parts of the driveway that aren't clear are mainly ice right now but it's not too bad at all. It was nice not to have to walk the 1/4 mile from the church parking lot(where we park during storms) to my front door. Lol. Well, I have two hours before I have to go to work. I want to get at least a short yoga video in. I need to do something exercise wise. I haven't at all this week I think. Other than shoveling snow yesterday I think. Lol3 -
