Keep up the good work everyone!
It is crazy! I'm 5' 4 1/2" looking to get to a goal weight of 160 - 165, which will be a size 8 for me. You're right, it is hard looking at all these awesome pics and comparing body types and weights. All bodies are different and all are beautiful. Shout out to the pear shaped girls!7 -
Not finished but here's a couple of my progress photos... I'm 5' 4.75" with a starting weight around 209, current weight is 151.

225 lbs to goal weight of 135 lbs. It took forever (about 10 years between highest and lowest) but lost about 35 lbs over the past year. Now reassessing to decide if I want to lose a little more or if this is a good weight for me.60 -

Since April 10th, 2017 101 lbs lost.
I literally couldn't stand or walk for more than 5 minutes because of knee and back pain.
My orthopedic DR reffered me for knee replacement despite my weight so I knew I had to do my part.
I'm still getting the knee replacement, but I am much more active.... doing the things I love.
I have 27 lbs to go to my initial goal weight of 160lbs. I hope to reach that before my surgery and reaccess again once the rehab is over.

....25 lbs down!6 -
Hi there, I was using My Fitness Pal about 2 years ago and had lost 25 lbs in about 6 mos. My thinking is that if I loose it slow there's a better chance of it staying off. I did it alone because I didn't know how to find a friend. I'm 60, I'm on permanent disability and right now I weigh somewhere between 225 to 235. I'm 54 3/4 I have a problem with edema and when that happens my weight goes up a lot. I don't know if it matters that I have a friend in my age group but my thinking is that we would have more in common.
I'm ready to start using the food diary again and would love a friend that we could encourage one another in our desire to weigh less. I'm doing it for my health number one and second, I hate the way I feel and I want to lose weight so I could get into the clothes in my closet. I wont purchase clothes in my size! I have a phone but the camera is broke so I wont be able to post pics, just yet. I'm moving in June to be closer to my daughter, son in law, and 3 of my grandchildren. When that happens there will be a lot of phones to help get pics posted. I'm not very electronics savvy but my grandchildren can help.
SO, new friend, I would also love it if you were Born Again Christian so that we could share scripture and pray for one another.

I’m 5’5, 34 yo mom
I started summer 2016 and lost 40 lbs by fall 2017. Originally I was on 1200-1500 cals per day, just getting my 8000 steps in daily. But I quickly (3-4 mos in) found that too difficult to sustain me and so I bumped my cals up to 1700-2200 cals per day depending on whether they were workout days or not. That’s also when I started doing cardio regularly. I added weights in spring 2017 when I was starting to feel too squishy. I’m currently in a recomp for at least one full year before I reassess based on goals and how I feel/look.11
