@7lenny7 and @MNLittleFinn - You two got this! You will rock that little course like it was a walk in the park... a really big and muddy park, but still!2

A lovely run tonight. The trail was aptly named Enchanted Forest. Some hard hills that made it feel like up never ended, but a stunning run.

Skipped out on the billion mph winds and hit the TM again. Probably tomorrow too because I think we’re getting snow or something ridiculous? I don’t live in Canada. Where is spring?
3 miles today. 8 MTD.
3/4 days according to plan.2 -

Did a final hill session before Brighton with my PT yesterday. Getting so much better at them now, even managed to get 9th overall (3rd this year) on one (on Strava).
Goal 100km
01.04.2018 16km
04.04.2018 3.2km
Total 19.2km4 -
Getting a late start here, but I’m in! I closed out March at 72 & change, 12 mi above my goal of 60, so I’ll go ahead and shoot for 70. Might be a little tough because I’m going to have less time for long weekend runs due to travel, but I’ll give it a whirl. Really I’d just like to be at 20+ mi/week consistently at this point.
I just got back from a super busy work trip on Monday morning—ended up with about 4 hours of sleep so I didn’t run until yesterday. And I had eaten all the yummy food in San Francisco (crab cake crepes! Korean ribs! Cream puffs! Chinese egg tarts! And more!) So I’m feeling a little roly poly, but 4 lovely miles yesterday and 3.1 today puts me back on track. It’s such a great feeling to get those runs in after I haven’t been able to.
So, current stats: 7.1 mi/70 mi goal3 -
Had a Women Walkathon today in the early morning. Surprisingly I could finish it with a mix of walking and running before my estimated a time. Being on 6th place among 30 people was not a bad feeling. That running track had slopes so I felt that I need to practice on that as well and not only flat surface. One month break has rusted my legs. Still I was happy to participate with so many people first time. I always have run solo so far.
April Running Challenge

Eric's 100M starts at 8am Friday, April 13th.
My 50M starts at 12:01 AM on Saturday, April 24th (midnight)
I'm volunteering at an aid station for 7 hours Friday afternoon and evening. The aid station set up is such that I should see Erik 2 to 4 times during my volunteer shift so I can harass him cheer him on. Hopefully we'll meet on the trail Saturday as well.

Hi
I'm going to join you, I'm training for my first HM, it's in September so a while to go yet. I'm just getting over sinusitis and am still not 100%, so am giving myself this week off and starting over next week. My aim this month is 45km.8 -

Ah come on, that's good for building mental toughness! (... says the girl who is working from her balcony today because SPRING)1 -

Ha! Yeah, sure... but I did TEN MILES on a dreadmill. I think that proves my "mental toughness"3 -

Definitely! I'm one of those people who actually don't mind the treadmill, but ten miles is my limit.0 -
10.58k interval run today, alternating between 1k at 5k pace then 1k at whatever pace I wanted as long as it wasn't walking. Covered the route faster than all 3 times I ran it last week. Not sure if running the route backwards had anything to do with that, probably not - the ups and downs are spaced out about the same either way you go. I wore capris and a short-sleeved shirt and loved it!
10k on Saturday. After playing around with pace today, I need to get out the calculator and decide what I want to do - go out with the slightly faster pace group and see how it goes, or take the more conservative approach of starting behind them (between them and the next slower pace group) and attempting to catch them in the second half for a negative split. Maybe I'll just decide on Sunday at the start line. I've used similar approaches before on 10k's, so it probably has more to do with how I'm feeling and how hard I'm willing to work for a time on a clock. If the pace group seems reasonably close to my current abilities, I'll probably just go for it.5 -

You win! The treadmill would've been harder for me.0 -

Honestly, I am 30 days out from the Marathon, my primary goal at this stage of my training is to not get sick or injured. That is making me choosier about running conditions.6 -
4/1- rest
4/2-rest
4/3-2.5 miles
4/4-1.7 miles on elliptical (crosstraining day)
