I'm not surprised that I didn't make my goal. I moved to a new city for a new job earlier this month, so I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things with my weight loss after all the changes. Let's hope next month serves me better!4 -

I didn't quite reach my April goal of 183. But I am still declaring April a success. I made changes to my expectations and routines based on lots of good information on MFP. I started this change in January and the weight came off fast. At first I just mindlessly bumped my loss goals towards losing more faster. Then I got to thinking, do I really want to loos this much this fast. Probably not. So I adjusted my expectations a little. Meanwhile, I have met my original goal of 185 by July 1 (assuming no significant increase). And I am still well on track to meet my ultimate goal of under 180 by July 1st.
So I remained diligent about logging and watching portions. And I keep "listening" to my body and will adjust as needed. It seems that Garmin and MFP want me to eat more calories for my steps. But I am still eating about half as I see how these adjustments work out.
