I wanted to give Starbucks’ new doubleshot coffee smoothies the benefit of the doubt even though they’re made with pea protein which I absolutely hate. I tried the vanilla honey and it’s OK at best. Luckily I could tolerate it and didn’t even notice the pea protein that much, but all I tasted was bananas and their almond milk which I’ve never been fond of because it tastes weird to me. I didn’t taste coffee at all. I had half the bottle and my dad agrees he didn’t like it that much but it wasn’t terrible. Great for vegans, but I’ll stick to regular coffee.
However, I wrote to Starbucks to see how many mg of caffeine it had since I didn’t see it on the bottle or website. They said a bottle has 14mg of caffeine?! How is that “coffee,” let alone a “doubleshot” by any means!? That’s weak!!! They HAD to mess up and give me the wrong amount, or else that’s awful.
I also tried the Chilly Cow sweet cream peanut butter (on sale at $2.88 at Shoprite this week!) and I liked it more than the chocolate due to personal bias towards liking peanut butter more than chocolate. It tasted like real ice cream (not as artificial since they don’t use erythritol), but the peanut butter chunks don’t compare to Enlightened at all. I would choose it over Halo top’s chocolate peanut butter since it has a more upfront peanut butter flavoring, but they could do better than one chunk of peanut butter. Still, I like the nostalgia of these things, they remind me of the little ice cream cups I’d eat as a kid at the school cafeteria or at parties! I’d like them to do a fun confetti cake flavor at some point xD

I'm mixed up about this one. For the calories, it's not bad at all, but the swirl is sickeningly sweet (there was a big layer of it at the top) and the base is too bland. Absolutely no artificial aftertaste though, which is nice, but it probably won't be a repeat purchase.2 -

Highly disappointing! Flavorless, even the sausage, and the bowl wasn't even half full. So I know I'm going to go scavenging this afternoon because I was already starving. Stupid jerky jerks.

I came super close to buying this the other day when I saw them in Walmart! Thanks for saving me this disappointment, and I'm sorry that you had to take the bullet for us to learn.
Went to Shoprite and still no Taco Bell chips dang it. I'm desperate to find these things, they should have a chip locator or something xD It's a shame Taco Bell stores aren't carrying it because I've been there four times in the last 7 days... no exaggeration whatsoever....
But I did find the new Little Debbie turtle brownies! I picked some up to try tonight I looooove Little Debbie and they only have 200 calories which doesn't seem too bad!4 -
Has anyone tried the DOUGHnuts that were featured on Shark Tank? They look delish!!! Some have 14 grams of protein. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0835/7209/products/CakeBatterMaaxx_1024x1024.jpg?v=15168191411

I know that a couple of Frontera frozen meals were reviewed here, and I'm throwing in my vote for these as well. This was pretty tasty - the chicken pieces were pretty close to how they turn out homemade and not that texture that they usually are in frozen meals. The vegetables retained an almost crisp tender texture, which was surprising and good. I also liked that they put chayote squash in here, and the sauce was unique and tasty. I only wished that the portion was a bit larger.

I've bought them twice. The first was in September of 2016 when I found out they had a purple ube flavor (paid $15 for four plus $9 shipping because I was desperate to try it) and the second time was October of 2017 to try their carrot cake (paid $14.50 for four plus $8.99 shipping because they had a promotion for a free s'mores donut with any order).
I really like how they ship the donuts; it comes in a very cute box with the icing/toppings packaged separately and nutrition info broken down for the donuts and then the icing. Each time, the icings have been phenomenal and tastes just like regular, high calorie, sugar laden icing (nothing artificial or super cooling from erythritol which I've had extremely poor experiences with other companies). I'm pretty sure the icings and toppings aren't diet or healthy at all, which is why they come in smaller containers - although recently the size of the topping tubs has increased. The toppings are a 10/10, and if you want more you could probably open a can of regular cake icing since it's most likely the same thing.
The donuts themselves I enjoyed, but my parents (who aren't used to diet products like I am) hated them each time. We all agree they don't taste like donuts. However, they are VERY filling and will sit like a rock in your stomach. If you have two, you'll be stuffed for hours. I sometimes question the accuracy of their labelling because I did gain weight when I ate them both occasions even though I weighed them per gram. It's really hard to describe their texture, but it's definitely not airy or donut-y at all. I would get them again because I did enjoy the nostalgia of eating them, but I was hoping being on Shark Tank would bring down their prices more than they did. I live in Maryland whereas the company I believe is in California, so I probably pay the most for shipping out of all their customers xP

I don't think this is anything new, but I've never seen it. I was scrolling through Amazon's food and discovered it. Has anyone tried this? The macros impress me (90 cal per 1/2 cup, 12P/2F/13C).

I tried this Cold Foam Cascara Cold Brew from Starbucks today. I loved it. It's definitely not for anyone that doesn't like black coffee though.
I also liked playing with it a little too much. You shake the cup and the foam mixes into the coffee and just a few seconds later, it's all back at the top.
I order mine with Splenda and cream love this4 -

I bought this a few weeks ago. I threw most of it out today. It was terrible. In hindsight, it doesn't even sound good, but I gave it a try. It left a terrible taste in my mouth.2 -

I'm a little confused. Was it tried and true fat gain, or is it that the doughnuts are hard to digest and stay in you longer than other foods such that your scale weight reads higher for a few days? I calculated the macros provided on their website for the yellow sprinkled donuts (https://www.doughbardoughnuts.com/products/new-everyday-protein-doughnut-cake-batter-4-pack), and the icing was spot on and the donut calories were actually a bit higher than raw maro calculations.0 -

It was true fat gain, the same thing happens with simply scrumptous’ brownies and coffee cakes so even though I love them I try to eat them less often. I’m VERY nit picky about logging correctly and those were the only thing I ate that was out of my ordinary routine.
I tried Little Debbie’s turtle brownie and now I know why it’s only 200 calories each - these things are the size of my pinkie finger! Good, but not great or anything I’ll go out of my way to get again. I microwaved half and I honestly liked it more room temperature because the caramel was thicker with more of a pull.

Wow. That's awful. Thanks for alerting us. I hate it when companies give bad nutrition facts1 -

The same thing happens to me when I eat Lenny and Larry cookies. Last time I got birthday cake ones (the mini 200 calorie) they weighed out to be 260 per cookie not 200. Not a big deal but I was eating 2-3 of them a day and it added up over a few weeks. I found the same thing with the snickerdoodle and double chocolate mini although they were a bit more consistent. They are very inconsistent with the weight.2 -

You didn't gain fat from eating 2 donuts, unless they are 1700 calories each or something, lol. Maybe if you ate them every day for a month, you could make that kind of assumption... maybe.8 -
This was in a sponsored post on Facebook... my goodness do these look delicious!!! If anyone finds them first and buys them let me know how they are!!
These are magnificent. Especially the Strawberry ones. I would love to try the blueberry but I can't find them. Only one store near me carries these and they sell out all the time.
At my Kroger these are in the natural food refrigerated case btw.

Tried the raspberry love bites. DELICOUS. 120 cals/small truffle. Despite the tiny nature of these treats they are very satisfying and super tasty. I found them at a local market but looks like a lot of whole foods carry them.1 -

These are sadly unavailable even within 75 miles of me. I really wanted to try them as soon as I saw them. I will be on the east coast this summer though, so maybe I'll get to try them then.1 -

Subway wraps.....I spoke to the manager at the subway and asked if it was the same amount of food as a footlong. She said its the same amount of protein and veggies, but the cheese is the same amount as a 6 inch. The one i got is still about 680 cals BUT I eat half for lunch and half the next day so that's 2 meals for $7.50 and 340 cals 25 protein each. (spinach wrap, rotisserie chicken, white american cheese, veggies, and chipotle sauce) They're tasty too so that's a plus!5

In case anyone was wondering, these cereals literally look and taste the exact same. Anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is lying, they’re identical! And now I have 3 pounds and 5 ounces of cereal left... in a lactose intolerant household. What have I done.

Oooooo because I totally felt the Malt O Meal knockoff tasted more like oreos than the Oreo O's (also, change the name, Nabisco. This one is dumb).2 -
Aldis has it's own version of HT!8 -
I tried the vanilla Clio bar tonight. I think it's good! Not sure it's worth almost as many caloires as a candy bar. Tastes like tangy cheesecake dipped in decent chocolate. For the almost the same calories as a bar I can eat half a pint of enlightened... lol
What I really want to know is has anyone tried these? They're on ibotta and this is right up my alley! Caramel, vanilla ice cream pretzel and chocolate.
