What healthy food will you absolutely, never, ever eat?
Raw tomatoes. I don't care of they are home grown, best tomatoes ever. I'm not eating them.
I will eat pico de Gallo (weird and irrational) and other tomato products. Never raw tomatoes.
Same! And I get upset if they put tomatoes on my sandwich after I've asked for no tomato. You can still taste the slime!
Yes!!! Tomatoes are sliming up the place.0 -
Oh, gosh, I forgot about avocados. Yeah, not doing those either. No avocados. No guacamole. I'm pretty sure there are some people who think I can't be a true Texan if I don't eat guac.
I used to not like tomatoes either, but I actually really like them now. A perfectly ripe tomato, sliced and sprinkled with salt & pepper - yum!0 -
I love pretty much all vegetables, including brussels sprouts and beets. Cooked kale is tasty, but raw, it has the texture of tree leaves. I don't eat them either. Avocadoes are slime.
Quinoa is OK, but I wouldn't choose it on purpose when there are so many other grains I like better.
All of the healthy stuff should be preceded by an adult beverage or followed by a piece of cake.3 -

Mine is brussel sprouts. I've tried. I've done the roasting thing. Ew. Nope. No, thank you. Not in any way, shape, or form.

Sweet Potatoes. Don't like them.0 -

I can't comprehend! I sweet potatoes! I'm already looking forward to Sunday, steaks on the smoker, and a baked sweet potato with butter and brown sugar.2 -

I'm an adult-onset sweet potato eater. Hated them as a kid, but I adore them now.1 -

'Adult-onset eater' I like that! I have several foods I'm that way with.2 -

That's okay. I love tomatoes, so if we're ever at a cookout together, I'll give you all of my sweet potatoes, and I get your tomatoes.2 -
I'm okay with kale if it's buried in that stupidly named superfood salad. Otherwise bleh.
No brussel sprouts for me. Also no avocado or guac. No cauliflower, broccoli or a whole raft of veggies. And eggs. They make me puke.
My wife likes all of the above.1 -

Do you say this so we'll question your wife's judgement, or so we won't?1 -
Kale (and collards) are delicious if picked after a frost when they are sweet, cooked a long time, and seasoned with bacon grease. Raw? Might as well eat straw.4

I quit Weight Watchers recently because I can't fit my treats in (no matter what they say). It is not realistic for me to go the rest of my life without ice cream and cheesecake.12

I have managed to arrange my meals so that I can have the entire bag of popcorn whole watching Thor:Ragnorok.7

Haven't read through all of the posts, but wondered about those I saw that seemed to be making judgements. Why are they reading this thread, since it says what it is about in the title.
They remind me of those people that respond to questions on Amazon with, "I don't know. I don't have that product." Do they feel they must respond to every post?6 -
I lost over 40lbs while still eating Burger King several times a week. Value menu for the win! (smaller portions and super cheap) I eat everything tbh. Nothing is off limits. If I want ice cream I get ONE friendly’s Dixie cup sundae and I am satisfied with that. I refuse to eat fake ice cream aka halo top. I was craving a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich this morning, so I made one and it was delish! And it was only 345 cals
Kale and avocados are disgusting. Especially the latter. I will never understand the hype.3 -
I will eat an entire pint of Enlightened at the end of the night if I have the calories.2
-
I'm going to California for a few days next week and I've already prelogged my In N Out burger: Double Double, Fries, Chocolate Shake.7
-
Following because I need you people lolol! And I need friendly reminders that I can eat “normally” (see: like I’m not a bear who stores everything for hibernation O.o) as long as it’s portion wise and in moderation. Plus I’m a lazy cook and I like cheese3

I cannot eat a mushy tomato and it grosses me out to see people eat a whole tomato like it is an apple. I wont eat cherry tomatoes, dont want to bite into it. I dont like avocado but I like guacamole.0 -
I actually do try to make healthier choices 80% of the time, but I have to have dessert every night. This weekend we went to Golden Corral for Father's Day. I had fried fish, hushpuppies, fried popcorn shrimp, fried shrimp, steak, macaroni and cheese, and sampled many desserts. I know I over did it, but it was worth it.5

Breakfast monte cristo! So yum!

I had chocolate chip ice cream with chocolate chip topping for breakfast. Winning!4

I don't understand people who feel that everything they put into their mouth has to be "clean" or "whole" or "healthy". I also don't understand the other end of the spectrum who feel that anything green is "gross" or "nasty" and all they will eat is fast food or greasy food (just in moderation). I don't think any genuinely healthy people really follow either method. We're human, we need to fuel our bodies without forgetting to feed our souls. I choose foods based on how much they sate me, and how much I like them. I don't want to live in a world where I can't have milk chocolate, or avocado, or cheesecake, or spinach salads or any of the other foods I love. I'm an equal opportunity omnivore
Feel free to add me if you like, so long as you don't starve yourself (I don't wanna see that) or get judgy about my food intake (I don't wanna hear that).6 -

Ya, me too. I eat a lunchables with a piece of candy at least once a day. I eat a yogurt with high fructose corn syrup for breakfast a lot. I eat boiled eggs with their fatty yoke, I eat whatever, but I eat small portions and keep it between 1200 and 1600 max. I also only walk a couple hours every night mostly because I don't wanna go home, and I can keep circling the local greenbelt and pond. I don't do any crazy exercise programs, and I've lost about twenty pounds in five weeks. I want convenient, not expensive and complicated.3 -
God I’m so happy to have found this thread. I’m pretty new to the community here. I made a thread asking for some advice and immediate got attacked for eating jimmy johns. I try really hard to eat healthy most of the time. But we have to be realistic here. No one should be judged for what they eat or how much they are working out. It’s your journey. Some people just need to climb right off the pedestal they put themselves on. Just my opinion.5

Hell of a weekend and I'm just logging now. Spartan Super finished Saturday, then saw Tim Allen do a set in Milwaukee followed by an amazing pub burger and beers with the wife. Spartan Sprint finished Sunday followed by a night out with my family at our favorite pub and another amazing burger - with a pork belly, pulled pork, and bacon on top.2
