This is my 1st round... better late than never
SW 186.6 lbs
Date/weight/comment
7/7 186.6 lbs worked out in the morning but went out for drinks that night
7/8 woke up late and forgot to weigh myself, I feel like your true weight is only in the mornings, so I let it go and did bad the rest of the day. (Not a good idea but I'll pay for it in tomorrow's weigh in.)
7/9 187.6 smh a whole nother pound I have to get ride of now...I need to do better the weekends always get me, I can control my portions better during the weekdays because of the routine..I got this
7/10 186.8 ok well I'm at least getting back to were I started. I watched my calories and did a small 10 min morning workout then an afternoon workout of Julian Michaels of 30 day shred. I love her workout videos, I am so feeling it this morning I'm so sore that I didn't even want to do my morning workout. I contemplated allot but decided to do it.
7/11..186.2 My scale was all over the place this morning, 1st at 186.2, then 185.8 then 189.8 I swear I got on at least 10 times and the 186.2 came up the most, so that's what I am going with. Did both morning and afternoon workout yesterday, so happy cause I am so sore I really didn't want to but I was given chocolate at work, that I was like if I eat this I have to workout in the afternoon and so that's what I did lol. Yesterday I did day 2 in level one 30 day shred. (10 days each level )
7/12 186. 2 No lose, but no gain either. I worked out in the morning. The pants I wore yesterday felt allot tighter than when I wore them last week. I should of worked out in the afternoon but I didn't #smh I ate over my calories amount, I need to loose this kangaroo pouch. Really trying to get to 185 by the time this round is over the weekend is coming and I am scared I'll gain it all back
7/13 184.8 wow, I was thinking it would be around 185, yay I'm so excited. I Didnt work out yesterday morning. But did day 3 of the 30 day shred in the afternoon. I can't seem to control my portions during the weekend I have no routine and I'm with my kids all day that I end up over eating and gaining everything I lost during the week. I only work half a day today, so my weekend starts early. Wish me luck I'm really going to try.
7/14 184.0. I really worked for this one I did my morning and afternoon workout did day 4 of 30 day shred, but today is a whole nother challenge, I have family coming over making hamburgers and jumping in the pool. I up to go running really not wanting too but if that will keep me from gaining I'll do it. Let's do this. Good luck everyone

*log every day
7/07 160.2 Wow I am super stoked to start with this weight!! Finally got my parents home yesterday after a long 3 weeks of caregiving, celebrated last night with a cocktail, hot tub, time with my hubby and light dinner. I drank a lot of water yesterday and just snacked rather than my big salad, not meeting my macros but happy with this loss! Now to stay the course as I head into the weekend.
7/08 162.6 Cocktail and fried calamari, Fiber One bars give me a stomache ache, became a Granny to twins...tummy hurts still!! No more Fiber One for me, water before I eat, yardwork today. Tomorrow's weigh in will be great, I am sure of it!! I have lost almost 10 lbs and it really feels good. I lose the tummy bloat first and that's what makes me feel fat vs. thin, so success!
7/09 163.4 WEIGH IN DAY Well, this gain is expected after my indulgence the day before. It took 2 days to show up, since yesterday I was on plan. I am confident I will drop back down this week.
7/10 162 Up and down and up and down, stay the course to reach your goal.
7/11 161.4 As I said.
7/12 161 Yay! The trend is in the right direction. Would love to see the 150's again. I know I really need to start adding some exercise, that will give me more motivation, energy and toning.
7/13 160.8 Spent most of the day fasting but then ate all my quota by bedtime. A good lesson on ignoring cravings and the pangs of hunger.
7/14 161.4 Took my phone on a walk and earned some extra calories, ate them and plus some. I think I won't do that again (eat the extras) NSVx6 I have been feeling sexy, I cleaned out one of my kitchen cabinets that was a mess, took the dogs for a long morning walk, I went through and purged my junky jewellry, I went to an unexpected dinner with my 16 yo son, my mood is up!

7/12 / 248.2 / I’ve been eating at the same calorie deficit for months, yet my body stubbornly holds on to weight until it just gives up all at once. I’m doing nothing different now than the last several rounds.
7/13 / 248.2 /
7/14 / 250.0 / My daughter took us to Sajj last night, our first time. I did get a salad based bowl, but the prepared vegetables, falafel and meat apparently had a lot of sodium. Calorie-wise I was within my plan. I was able to add every single added item to MFP. I really love this app.

7/07 189.6 Can this be real? I worked hard at this yesterday to get this challenge off to a better start than the last. Over 10,000 steps. Intermittent fasted for 16:8 . 25 net carbs. 1269 calories. Now just to hang on……..
7/08 189.0…. Very pleased with progress. Now….Just to keep from sabotaging myself. Dr. Appointment tomorrow which is keeping me accountable. Hope I can hold it steady afterward…..
I walked nearly 13,000 steps yesterday including a planned 1 mile brisk walk just prior to dinner. I intermittent fasted 16:8. Liquids okay but could have been better. Battled some cravings late night, but got through it with a square of bitter 90% dark cacao chocolate. I tried hard to pretend it was milk chocolate or maybe a Milky Way but eh…….
7/09 188.4 Dr. Appointment later today so I wanted to be accountable. I walked over 16,000 steps yesterday and nearly 7 miles. Low on water due to work and being so busy. Followed my diet well and fought the late night cravings and urges to binge which I sometimes give in to. I intermittent fasted 16:8 which is not always easy for me. The doctor appt today kept me on track for sure!
7/10 187.4 Keep on keepin’ on. Walked over 10,000 steps. 16:8 Intermittent fast. Good water, tea and vinegar. Brisk 1.5 mile walk after dinner. Dr. & staff impressed with weight loss. Blood Pressure 112/77. All is well. Today is an out of town trip quite far from home. Due to being mainly carbound, I will not get in my steps and my diet will be off. We’ll see what tomorrow’s scales bring. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
7/11 out of town today. No scale, but it won’t be good. Chinese buffet yesterday. I will be very careful today as I travel home. I dread the water weight after so many carbs and so much sodium. When I’m home and use the scale tomorrow it will probably be a very sad day. Why? Why? Why?...........
7/12 192.2 ugggg…….. 13,122 steps yesterday after I got home but less than 5, 000 on Tuesday due to travel plan. The Chinese food yesterday is showing and the picture isn’t pretty. I watched my diet pretty carefully yesterday after I arrived home. 27 carbs, 1085 calories. The 13,000 steps included a brisk 1.5 mile walk in my neighborhood. But as I’ve stated before, you cannot outrun the fork so I pay dearly….. I will continue to be careful today and try hard to reach my macros, carbs and calories with grace (even if it is without ease). The fight continues and I do remain fierce.
7/13 192.4 Drats! A night out last night with too many carbs and calories. 7,556 steps. No planned walk or exercise. I guess the number could be even higher so I’ll take it. Today, however, I will be doing my Intermittent fasting 16:8. Drinking my tea, lemon water, vinegar water etc. And I will be doing an Egg Fast to get my macros back on track. My goal at this point is to try and reach my lowest weight I have achieved this round which is 187.4. Don’t know that I can make that in the next 3 weigh-ins, especially on a weekend, but I am surely going to do my best! No desserts!!!!
7/14 190.0 The 180’s are flirting with me again and I plan on falling for it hook, line and sinker. Yesterday: 10,223 steps. Began an Egg Fast which went very well. Drank my vinegar, my lemon water and my black coffee. No green tea. Busy day. Not a lot of time, no walk today but plenty of natural steps. Net Carbs 12, Calories 1363. Look out 180’s, you can run but you can’t hide!

Ummm.... whaaaaaa!!! 🤯😂 no clue what’s happening and why. I worked out very late last night and ate within my goal. So did everything right. Did feel bloated for the first time last night so maybe that’s what this is? Oh well! Let’s see what happens in this round. I know progress will be slower now, even if I push myself. Last 10 lbs!! Also need to get better sleep.
7/08 - 120.4
Couldn’t workout yesterday as I felt my left knee was hurting a bit. It’s very mild. Never had any kind of issues with my knees before so didn’t want to push it without knowing what’s happening. Need to figure out moves/workouts to mediate the pain and it’s almost gone with rest now. I cooked and made flan last night and hoping not to overdo it with food today!
7/09 - 119.6
Ok, so that is good. Weird weigh in yesterday and day before that better not happen again! 😂 walked for an hr. Yesterday and it felt good and my knee got to rest too. I think I’ll try to do my regular bike cardio today. Let’s see. Lack of well rested and enough sleep seems to be important for how my days go and also weigh-ins in the mornings.
7/10 - 119.4
Yay! Warm up and workout yesterday, knee feels better too. Good sleep last night and within my calories.
7/11 - 119.6
Yesterday was rest day! And kind of wasn’t a very active day physically but a busy day nonetheless. Sleep was ok, ate within my goal and looking forward to working out today.
7/12 - 118.2
Worked out yesterday and it felt so good. I feel bogged down and heavy, the days I don’t workout! Who would’ve thought I’d ever feel that way for not working out! 🤣😬 sleep could’ve been better but wasn’t too bad, also ate well within my range. Although, ate maybe a tad more carbs than I usually do, but it wasn’t over by much.
7/13 - 118.2
7/14 - 117.6
This makes me feel super happy and motivated to keep on track. I have really worked hard for this one. Worked out and pushed myself yesterday and ate super well also was under my calorie range. I can feel my stamina increasing which is a very good feeling. Just need to keep doing what I am doing! Remember to work on getting better sleep, warm up before every workout and drink drink drink more water. And looks like, hopefully I can complete this round under my goal weight!! Still fingers crossed 🤞 as I do not want to jinx it 😜 I had plans for Chinese dinner tonight from the very best Sichuan place, but this progress makes me want to not do that. Eating out just inevitably reflects on your weight the next few days. We shall see.

7/7 at 5:00 / 230.6 / Urk!
7/8 at 10:45 / 230.4 / Terrible eating. Too much running around. Too little drinking with too much salt. On the plus side, yesterday we went to NYC and saw the Statue of Liberty and were able to climb into the crown. Something like 350 steps from the ground to her crown, with the second half going up a tiny, twisting staircase. It was lots of fun and we all got a bit wobbly on the way down. I now have a really weird sunburn on a spot where I guess I missed putting on sunscreen.
7/9 at 8:00 / 229.4 / I had a much better eating day yesterday and drank lots of fluids. This week should be a very simple week. Fingers crossed!
7/10 at 6:15 / 229 / Good eating day yesterday. Today, I'm taking part in a challenge where my only drink is water. I don't know how capable I am of that! I love my Diet Coke! I hit my head really hard during my commute. I have a bit of a headache, but I think things are okay. I'm on a bit of high alert right now.
7/11 at 6:00 / 228 / Good eating. I made it through day 1 of no Diet Coke. Can I make it two in a row?
7/12 at 8:45 / 226.8 / Good eating yesterday. My second day of no Diet Coke, but I'm working from home today and I just didn't feel like going for a third day in a row. Nice drop in weight. Of course, it's a much later weigh in, too!
7/13 at 6:05 / 227.6 / A bit of a bump up, but it's a much earlier time. I'm doing really well and have no complaints. I'm back to drinking only water today.
7/14 at 8:15 / 226 / Woot. Had another good day. And today is a heavy exercise day. Planks!

Round 45 report: Logged later a few days, but average sugar consumption was quite a lot lower which was a goal. Got a couple of nice cardio workouts in, average weight is down.
Round 46 GOAL = Maintain weight. That's it. I am trying to control my anxiety by making rules again, and it's time to stop when my perfectionism is driving the bus; that's a "recipe" for disaster.
7/7 - 125.8 - yesterday under maintenance, 10K steps, got in a walk/run to gym and 20 mins on elliptical.
7/8 - 126.2 - yesterday over maintenance, due to some middle of night can't-sleep sugar. Got in a pretty solid at-home strength workout yesterday - resistance bands, exercise ball etc.
7/9 - 125.4 - yesterday under maintenance, 10K steps, got a 3.5 mile run in with some walk intervals, it was hot but ran to gym and then ran on treadmill. A day to stack up and check off the things that will make me feel better: taking care of bills, stretching, taking vitamins, sitting with the mindfulness exercise, and getting a run.
7/10 - 126.8 - yesterday under maintenance, 10K steps including a short run to gym, 35 mins on the elliptical, and slow walk home. Unfortunately the gym was steaming (it's more of a lifter's gym, hardly anyone does hard cardio there for more than 10 minutes but me, and it has west facing windows...) and by the time I got home I was BROKEN.
Dinner helped, but after passing out for 5 hours I woke at 3AM with a headache and weak willpower, and some sugar has gone down the hatch. Possibly my body is just replenishing its glycogen, I have worked out pretty hard a few days in a row ... All will be well, it's just finding my sea legs with summer here in norcal
7/11 - 126.8 - yesterday super overtired, over on calories and a planned no-workout day due to other commitments. Went to bed at 8:45 and slept 10 hours. Aaaaahhhhh. It was LOVELY.
7/12 - 127.6 - yesterday under maintenance, 13K steps, nice run. It feels so weird to run hard on a treadmill for a half a mile, take a walk break to get my heart rate down, and realize that was not quite as fast as marathon pace ... 13 years ago. But I'm running; so no worries. Another good night's sleep.
I spite of the other day's bonk, I ran to the gym in the heat and it went much better. Took ice water this time! Was still 88 when I got back home. (Dry norcal heat of course, but still hot for running!)
7/13 - 126.8 - yesterday under maintenance, only 7K steps. Hubs (who is retired and an excellent healthy cook as well as a pro gardener, I am SO LUCKY) made homemade vegetarian tamales and avocado-tomatillo salsa for dinner. I could have cried it was so good. And we ALMOST have tomatoes...
7/14 - 126.6 - yesterday over maintenance cals and 6K steps. Some emo stuff up, healing. Early bed, good sleep, and we did eat our first tomatoes!
7/15
7/1611 -
Oh @brightresolve, I love tomatoes so much. I used to grow my own but I don't have outdoor space for them now.4

A late start this round as been away again - back to it today.
Aiming this round to make the 136.0 I finished on last round stick! Will be tough given its a Monday finish this round though .....
07/11 - 137.70 - finally back from Cheer comp weekend and first day back on plan proper and the scale and unsurprisingly up a bit from where I finished the last round but pretty happy with this all things considered. Beers & BBQ tonight round my brothers for the World Cup Semi final so not sure what tomorrow is going to look like on the scale
07/12 - 141.10 - Ate rubbish BBQ food in white bread rolls and far too many salted crisps and snacks all washed down with beer - and to make it worse we got knocked out. It was so not worth it - feel rubbish today getting knocked out and even worse after the rubbish food....... Back on it this morning though, my mission for the day is plenty of water and I know the scale will drop down again over the next few days
07/13 - 139.60 - the "post weekend away and footie bbq and beer night" whoosh of which I'm sure there is more yet to come. My aim for the rest of the round is to stay focused over the weekend, keep up the water intake and be lower on Monday for the end of the round!!! Have a great weekend everyone
07/14 - 137.0 - lovely start to the weekend. Out shopping with daughter to day and cinema tonight so lots of temptations to steer clear of but aiming to do so!

Baker’s Dozen Round for me!!
Basically, it looks like I’ve maintained the past 40 days, but the trend wt is decreasing!!

7/6 167.8 Trend wt: 167.2* loss/week: 0.4*
7/7 167.6 Trend wt: 167.2* loss/week: 0.4*
Cutting calories, increasing deficit, keeping moving! Time to lose more wt!! Have a great round everyone!
7/8 167.2 Trend wt: 167.1* loss/week: 0.4*
7/9 167.2a Trend wt: 167.1* loss/week: 0.4*
Noticed my weekly average sodium is up to 1760mg this week. Culprit: olives on my salads...!
Will cut the quantity down. Hehe Ate our for a special event yesterday - cut back rest of day & walked extra to eat at maintenance level. Pleased.
Noticed that I felt groggy, was yawning a lot, some slight nausea — for the first time in over 8 months. Didn’t eat too much, but it had Much more fats and refined carbs. My fiber micro was the lowest in 8 months lol I’m pleased as this will reinforce my not eating out
7/10 166.8 a Trend wt: 167.0* Loss/week: 0.4*
Scale has been wonky. This could have been 167.4, but shifted at last minute. Fingers crossed!!
I just realized I’ve weighed under 170 lbs since May 26! Encouraging! Now to get my high weight to 166.4! Feeling more motivated to lose more.
7/11 165.6* ✅Trend wt: 166.8* Loss/week: 0.5*
Okay, I figured out what was happening...a new brand of hummus was driving up my daily sodium/retaining water. I’m also eating less overall. Exercising, but with less intensity.
BMI: 24.8!! Normal at 5’8.5”✅ I’m sure this will bounce a bit, but trend line tells the story!!
7/12 165.2*a ✅ Trend wt: 166.6* Loss/wk: 0.6**
Wow! Lowest weight so far!! SO exciting.
Largest trending Loss/wk since June 11. I recognized what took the wind out of my weight loss sails (& decided to maintain) & am now being kind to myself as I pull out of it. I am creating more of a deficit calorie-wise each day than before.
Funny story: when I saw 165.2 on the scale, I thought “What, no way I gained 7 lbs..!!” No idea why I thought that. I weighed three times, 165.2, 165.2 165.2 thinking “wow, my scale must be broken” Started walking to Hubby’s scale when I finally woke up enough to realize I’d lost - hadn’t recognized the 165 since I was not expecting a lower number & in fact, I’m not sure I’ve seen this number since high school!! Sure is tricky getting used to new wt numbers!
7/13 165.8* a ✅ Trend wt: 165.9* Loss/wk: 0.6*
OK, saw there was another method Happy Scale uses for Trend Wt calculations that it says is better/more predictive. Switched as of this morning.
7/14 166* a✅ Trend wt: 165.8* Loss/wk: 0.7* Feeling much more settled than the past two months, as I transitioned to maintenance mentality. As I learned from others on MFP, Trend weights ARE invaluable!

7/07 - 163 - I'm glad I didn't bump up from yesterday's weight. Now let's see if I can get through this plateau in the next 10 days.
7/08 - 161.5 - I know this won't last, but it sure is nice to see!
7/09 - 161 - Whoa, was not expecting this!
7/10 - 160.5 - So I bounced between 163 and 165 for 3 weeks while sticking to my calorie goals. Either I've smashed through my plateau or my scales need a new battery.
7/11 - 161.5 - As long as I don't have to see 163 again this round, I'm happy.
7/12 - 161 - It looks like I may be sticking around this number for now, Yay!
7/13 - 160.5 - It will be nice if I can make it through the weekend at this weight.
7/14 - 160 - Although this number is nice, it's been a tough day. I'm not sure how it will look tomorrow.

7/06- I had a super hungry day due to (steroids), but I know to watch tomorrow, more exercise and watch my food choices. I went for a long walk tonight.
7/07- Prepared my meals for next week. Made broccoli soup, for lunch next week. Lots of vegetables and fruit.
Going to be very careful what I pick to eat. Fitbit steps 11,500.
7/08- Better food choices having a hard time steroids are making me hungry and 2-4 hours of sleep at night, went out walking Fitbit steps-10, 500. Enjoyed the weather outside today.
7/10- Great day spent lots of time outside, went for a walk after dinner 11,500 steps. Made a lot of good food
choices, had a smoothie frozen pineapples, celery, cucumbers, spinach, flax seed and water. Kept me full.
7/11- Tip - I made enough of my smoothie to last for today too. Fitbit steps 10,500, I was tired today only 2 1/2 hours of sleep last night.
7/12- another 2 hour sleep night. Fitbit steps 9,000. Need the weekend to rest.
7/13- Went for my radiation appointment and then weekly visit with the doctor he could not believe I`m doing so good, active and no symptoms at all. I have to work on planning my meals today I did not plan and I ate more than usual. I have to make soups and smoothies to have ready.
7/14 - Only one day I didn't reach 10,000 steps. I am going to increase this week. Have to do some cooking and preparing food for next week. I am craving strawberries but it is to hot for me to pick them. Maybe during the middle of the week it is suppose to be a little more comfortable.5 -

07/15 - 136.70 - stayed in control yesterday and just had a subway at lunchtime when out shopping, healthy dinner when home and a small handful of chocolate at the cinema. Home today and its hot, so need to make sure I keep up my water intake today and eat well - hoping for a good finish tomorrow morning to this round.....

7/13 - 184.0 lbs (-0.4) Please stick around this time 😂
7/14 - 184.0 lbs (—) Don’t think I’ll reach my challenge goal weight. But I’m pleased as long as I’m losing, even if it is slow.
7/15 - 183.6 lbs (-0.4) Wow, great to start seeing the 183 number. Very pleased with this 😃 Eat 1200kcal on weekdays and 1500kcal on saturdays. Had a high sodium day yesterday too, so it’s nice. Can anyone explain this? hahah Hoping to see an even lower number tomorrow.

Day/Weight/Comment
7/07 - No Scale
7/08 - No Scale
7/09 - 191.9
7/10 - 189.9 - first day on LCHF and that water weight dropped right off. It’s a hard transition thou. I’m feeling drained already from the carb withdrawals.
7/11 - 188.8 - Still feeling the side effects from the carb withdrawals, but it's nice to see the scale moving even if its water weight.
7/12 - 187 - I’m loving these water weight drops. It’s motivating seeing the number go down. Added bonus, I woke up this morning not feeling like death. Hoping to have the keto flu behind me!
7/13 - 185.5 - So this is the lowest I've been since May, which is great, but I need to remember that the weight loss isn't going to last at the same speed and that's ok. I just need to stay motivated.
7/14 - 184.2 - I've decided that I'm just going to enjoy losing 7.7 lbs of mostly water this week instead of dreading the inevitable slow down. I've lost almost 8 lbs this week and I'm not starving myself and if I'm hungry I eat. I think I'm starting to like this Keto lifestyle.
7/15 - 184.1 - I didn't pre-plan my day yesterday and I had 2 keto friendly vodka drinks. I exercised but didn't do any hard cardio like I normally do. I'll get back on track today and see what tomorrow brings.

Round 46 (1) SW 307.2 GW 303.0 UGW 175.0
I have lost the same four pounds between 307 and 303 at least six times. How silly is that? Last time down these pounds....go away 307.....
Day/Weight/Comment
7/07 308.2 Ack!!! I said I wanted to be out of the 307 number but I didn't mean 308. Good grief.
7/08 308.0 Almost back to 307s. Looking for consistency in eating. Logging but need to find a way to stay busier on weekends so I'm not finding extra calories to consume. Big change coming.
7/09 308.0 I think my scale is broken Doctor appt on Friday to show progress. Let's get off to a good start this week. Keep up the great work everyone.
7/10 305.2 Ok, going the right direction. Past 307 and 306 back to 305. Now to focus on 304. Much better day of eating yesterday. Weekends at home are tough -- too many options.
7/11 304.8 Bye 305. Hope to never see you again. 304 - this is a temporary stop -- no offense but I want to visit your neighbor 303 pretty soon.
7/12 304.0 So close to leaving 304-zone behind. Tomorrow is my doctor appointment to check progress. Have managed to lose several pounds but only after I had gained several pounds. But I'm mentally figuring out how this works. Coming up on one year learning how to focus. Lots of ups and downs throughout. Not just a number on the scale but rather re-learning how to eat, how to exercise, how to exist....watching all of your progress on this board has been a blessing. Keep up the great work.
7/13 302.4 Jump over 303 -- not going backwards anymore. Lots of room in front of me -- lots of pounds to go but nice looking back at the pounds I'm leaving behind. Focusing on the process and not just the number. The scale is a byproduct of the work we all put in and just one measure of our effort.
7/14 303.8 So 303 reached out and grabbed me to pull me back up. Of course I didn't help by eating off my plan and adding some extra calories. Correct it and move on -- tomorrow back to 302-world....Hope everyone has a great weekend.
7/15 303.8 Being at home just leads to so many temptations. Today my focus in on eating like I do during the workweek...

7/9 - 190.2 I was away for the weekend but I am back....madder than Hell at myself and my weight!
7/10 - 189.2 Every little bit helps. NO after dinner snacking seems to have helped.
7/11 - 187.8
7/12 - 186.6 It's hard to not nibble in the evening...especially when Hubby is!
7/13 - 187.0 WTH.....no nibbling and I still went up? Gotta try harder now that it's the weekend!
7/14
7/15 - 188.0.....gotta buckle under for the next couple days. Weigh in on Tuesday!
7/16
My official weekly weigh in, is Tuesday evening @ TOPS, so my ticker tape will reflect that loss.
My daily weight is on my home scale, so I can monitor how my week is going.
My ultimate goal is 175lbs, so any loss is a good loss.

I've decided to pay more attention to my moving average weight rather than daily ups & downs, so that's what I'm reporting this round. Also reporting both daily calories & 10-day calorie averages, because I've found the averages mean more in terms of my weight trend, but I still like to see what the daily numbers are.
Goals:
Food ~~ 1330 net calories 10-day average; P 15-25%, C 35-50%, F 25-35%; mostly clean & healthful
Exercise: 60 minutes/day of walking/swimming + yoga/stretch class 3X/week
Weight ~~ looking for a steady or downward trend. Time is not an issue.

7/07 - 147.6 - 1645 - 10-day average 1250
I had a lovely day yesterday, and today promises more of the same. Temp in the low 80s and clear, so I went for a 4-mile walk on our beautiful Rivergreenway in the morning. Did some gardening in the afternoon, and then some housecleaning ( ) because we had friends over for dinner, which was lovely with the gorgeous long evening to sit outside and talk and watch the birds and eat a bit too much (but healthy!). I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!
7/08 - 147.7 - 1377 - 10-day ave 1371
We're having a string of gorgeous days - temps in the 80s, brilliant blue skies.... I saw the results of Friday evening's splurge on the scale this morning, but I'm going with the averages, so not letting it stress me out. I worked in the garden for an hour last evening, moving and planting - there's nothing like playing with living color in the dirt to lift the spirits! Off for a walk in a few minutes. Have a lovely day, all!
7/09 - 147.7 - 1553 - 10-day ave 1412
7/10 - 147.8 - 1549 - 10-day ave 1420 - 7-day ave 1456
I didn't have a chance to check in yesterday so just added my data. Calculating averages has turned out to be really useful - I see a much clearer correlation between my 10-day (or 7-day) calorie average and my weight than between daily calorie fluctuations and weight. Since I'm using my moving weight average, changes aren't so startling, but in fact my weight this morning was 149, which makes sense since not just my daily calories but my calorie averages are up a little. So now I can make sensible adjustments. Oh, and I did splurge last night on a half cup of ice cream and had Mexican for lunch, so it all makes sense.
7/11: - 148 - 2035 - 10-day ave 1507
I have no idea why, but yesterday evening I pretty deliberately overate - I haven't had this many calories since May 25, and that was a similar anomaly. Weirdly, I woke up really hungry for breakfast. Go figure. Of course, my weight is up and will no doubt stay up for a couple of days, but focusing on the moving average helps me see the bigger picture. Anyway, that's the end of that foolishness for another long while! I'm just thinking of it s a quick re-feed and moving on. Planning a nice long walk this morning and maybe another this evening.
7/12 - 147.8 - 1165 - 10-day ave 1466
Apparently my splurge on Tuesday carried over, because I wasn't very hungry most of yesterday & I felt kinda crummy. I did go for a walk, but only half an hour. Back to normal today (I hope!).
7/13 - 148 - 1230 - 10-day ave 1462 - 7-day ave 1507
Yesterday was a good day - beautiful weather for a walk by the river and low-calories to balance my Tuesday splurge, which is still showing up on my weight & moving average, but I expected that. Also, my average calories have been higher than goal throughout this round until the last two days, so there ya go. OTOH, I've lots a half-inch of waist and I put on some jeans that were snug a month ago - they're loose. So don't use the scale as the only measure of progress!
7/14 - 148.2 - 1330 - 10-day ave 1474
Yep, the averages make perfect sense, and my splurge on Tues is working itself out. All good. I went for a lovely walk yesterday morning before the heat hit, but today I'll have to go to the gym or wait until late evening - gonna be HOT. I had hoped to hit the 6's this round, but hoping while pigging out doesn't cut it. Have a lovely weekend, all!
7/15 - 148.3 - 1216 = 10-day ave 1446
My brain says this makes sense, look at the averages (my actual weight is back up to 149 ) but it's pretty hard not to be bewildered/disappointed. I am walking and doing other exercise every day and it's been 5 days since my big splurge - seems like I should be losing by now. My macro averages are very steady @ P 20, F 30, C 50. I suppose the good news is that I seem to be firmly under 150, but not much considering my calorie level and exercise. I just don't get it. I'm stop trying to lose for a while, but considering that I'm pretty much holding steady I don't know how that would look any different. Sigh. I'll keep up my current "program" through the next session to see if anything happens once my Tues. splurge is off my 10-day calculations, but if I don't lose a little then, I'm going to rethink my goals.
