Was a bit under the weather last weekend, and good eating habits went right out the window, so not a lot of change in last 2 weeks. Back on track now and have found out a reason why have been lacking energy and enthusiasm lately. A quick Doc's visit and blood test can do wonders.

Just me, checking in. I've lost 3 pounds so far in August. I thought I wasn't going to lose any. LOL. Funny how we can work ourselves into that mindset. Be careful what you believe ! I wouldn't mind losing another pound or 2 before September. I have 3 pounds until a normal BMI, and 12 pounds to goal. Everything's going good !7 -

I am back up to 160.5 lbs today, but getting below 160 as the lower part of my weight fluctuation made me feel pretty great! It’s the lightest I have weighed in almost two years.9 -

I want to lose 36 pounds and maintain a healthy weight. I am a university student and sitting about getting on with my studies and having very few funds to buy fresh things constantly, means that I pack on the weight like nothing. I gained a whole stone during my first year and I want to work that off. Any cheap hack would be welcomed

If you have a freezer and a microwave, I would suggest buying frozen veggies. There's all kinds of steam in the bag veggies. Grab a rotisserie chicken on your way home and steam up some veggies in the microwave. Keep potatoes on hand as well. They last a while sitting out and you just need to wrap them in Saran wrap to microwave a baked potato if you want a starch to go along with your chicken and veggies.3 -

7/6/18 - 209.5 - A little temporary gain from the holiday carb fest. Here we go!
7/12/18 - 210.5 - Arrggghhhh! The bad news - the scale is going the wrong way. The good news - I'm getting my workouts in - lifting numbers are going up - I'm staying under my calorie target. Next week will be better.
7/26/18 - 209 - slowly moving in the right direction. Lifting numbers still going up. Getting most of the workouts in. Logging all the food - looks like I should lower the calorie target just a bit.
8/2/18 - 209 - turns out yesterday's whoosh was just a tease. DAMMIT! Oh, well - maintenance is good. Ate Tex-Mex in a restaurant last night. I probably should be pleased with a flat line. HAHA!
8/9/18 - 207.5 - Great - some progress, finally. And I saw 206 again earlier in the week. Onward and downward!
8/16/18 - 208 - AARRGGHH! - Getting frustrated here. I keep telling myself "Maintenance is good. You're not gaining. LIfting numbers are still going up." Regardless, I'd like to see some slow weight loss - just not this slow. HAHA!
8/23/2018 - 205 - Holy whoosh, Batman! And I saw 204 earlier in the week. Finally some progress! YAY!5 -

My goal for the next 2 weeks is to up my exercise routine. I have slacked off a little and I need to do more. Also, still trying to stick with mostly whole foods and steering clear most of the time from breads, junk food, pasta and processed foods. I have noticed a huge change in my body though since starting MFP, even though it's only been a short amount of time. I can't eat the junk I used to, because I just feel bad the next day!6 -

Well, I'm definitely NOT going to reach my goal weight by the end of the year. Reason being, I just lowered my goal weight from 150 to 135. So instead of having 12 pounds to goal, I'm 27 pounds to goal. Here's to reaching goal sometime in 2019 !!!

Hi! Another weekend gone! Been a little lax this week with food, but mostly with exercise. Happy to have maintained. Birthday is this Wednesday, so I don’t expect next week to be much better, but hopefully another week of maintenance then back on track! Hope everyone had a good weekend!
