Embrace your Awesomeness!

I went out for my morning run/walk and got about half way through when I discovered that (ahem) someone was messing around with my playlist. I was chugging along when Walk Like an Egyptian dialed up. I'm not going to lie when I say that I busted out laughing and broke into song. And, yes, people looked at me like I was insane, but no, it didn't stop me, and while I though long and hard about it, I didn't do the dance. None of this resulted in my best times, but as it turns out, I don't care.
Happy Thursday everyone!3 -

Have a fabulous Friday my friends!2

Got in a nice 13 minute walk with Roxie... although it was humid this morning. Feeling good! Happy Sunday friends!2

I'm going to walk to work today for the first time since spraining my ankle over a month ago. It might not be perfect, but I bet it will be awesome! 😊
Even though it's Monday don't forget your inner core of awesomeness, everyone!2 -
Monday's off to a bit of a rough start - forgot my gym bag at home, and have a bit of a tummy bug to boot. But I planned my food, and I'm on track to eating healthy and within my goal today. That's a big deal for me lately!2

I was a little MIA over the weekend, somehow the time got away from me. Hopefully the week will slow down a bit. That said, it's only 8am here and I'm in my second meeting of the day.
Even though my eating's been a bit off target lately, I've stuck to logging all my food and completing my food log every day. Today I plan to get back on track with my eating.2 -
Just finished school shopping with the kids... we love Old Navy!
Happy Tuesday!0 -
It’s a good day for a fresh start!
Happy Wednesday my friends!0 -
Is it Wednesday already!?! Wow. This week is flying passed me. I think I might still be on Monday... This means halfway to the weekend1

I'm totally off target with my eating as on holiday but I'll be back on it when I return! Trying not to feel guilty and am accepting a couple of extra pounds in weight gain but having a lovely time!1

Have a great time!!1 -
I've had an off week, but am looking forward to recuperating over the weekend. We have plans to laze around the pool with friends tomorrow and test out our new kayak rack on Sunday, which mean little to no possibility of running around doing errands for a change.
Happy Friday everyone!1 -
It’s September 1st.... can’t believe it.
It’s time to squeeze in summer fun before school starts.2 -

1st day of high school for my Freshman daughter today, and my son’s Senior year begins today. Where did the time go?
Happy Tuesday friends!
❤️ Jill0 -
My son started his senior year on August 15. I think we're all a little traumatized by it... This may be worse than him getting his driver's license and first car. Luckily on that front, he drives like an old man. Or at least like my dad did - slow and cautious.0

My son drives very cautiously too. It could be from the fact that I’m paranoid about deer. They’re everywhere around here. We almost got hit last year on his way to school. One ran in front of us, and one ran behind us within seconds of eachother. That was scary!0 -
Hello fellow travelers and Happy Thursday .....
I love that the title, original post and overall feel to this thread is so positive. I sometimes see such negative things said on the community pages.
I think I'm finally going to make it back to the gym tonight. I've been working lots of hours lately and traveling to see family in Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!) and haven't been to the gym in about 10 days.0 -
Uh-oh... are we talking sports now? As a Broncos fan with a Patriots fan husband, I know how dicey this can get...
Either way, Happy Friday, and may all your sports teams win this weekend1 -

I grew up in Greensburg... southeast of Pittsburg, and my husband is a Detroit Lions fan.1 -
Pittsburgh.... oops!1

Back to work today after a lovely two week holiday - looking forward to getting back to logging my food!0

Back at it today! Logging, exercise and good choices. Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Mid week... we’ve got this!!0

I feel like I'm just going through the motions this week. Wake up. Drink Coffee. Go for a walk or run. Work. Eat... The empty bag of chips in the trash tells me I haven't been making the best food choices. But, at least motion is part of the motion. According to the fitbit app, it's Wednesday and I've exercised three times.Mid week... we’ve got this!!

I was so determined to be back on it this week with logging my food and failed miserably BUT I'm not going to beat myself up over it - every day is a new chance to start again:)0

Read your beginning post, Jill. I felt as if I am in the same situation. About a month ago, I twisted my ankle while walking the dog. I can walk on it now, but it still hurts. If I don't walk the dog nobody else does, so my pup is just waiting for me to say, "Let's go". Later on today, I feel today is the day. If I don't then trying to come back to this site will backfire. Did I tell ya that I today, 3am this morning I have come back to this site since March. So.....I know to make this work, my twisted ankle and the dog must come in play under the exercise part of this program. Wish me luck. As it was stated above from Sukes...every day is a new chance to start again, but once I restart....I don't want to stop. I don't want the feeling of restarting to haunt me over and over. So now, I want to make friends for the support of non-stopping or reaching for seconds that are definitely not needed. Also, hometown is Pittsburgh, although since my parents have passed, I don't know when I'll be back. I have a family reunion soon, in October, although that was my reason in beginning MFP, this time it's not my reason for coming back, I'm just tired of feeling like a seesaw of weight coming off and putting back on due to my leaving mfp thinking that I knew what portion sizes were good and that I would stick to it.1
