I used to use a Waist to Hip ratio calculator all the time. It is another valuable tool for weight loss. Waist to Height is also. I take my body measurements once a month. My numbers are not where I want them to be yet, but my Waist to Hip is now mid moderate health risk.

•9/5 - 182.8 - Gee, I thought I had posted this. My son called me for some reassurance concerning my DGD early this morning. He wasn't sure that she would be able to find her classroom. Kindergarten classes are at the very back end of the school. Parents cannot enter the school with the children. First child in elementary school parent jitters. His baby. Not quite 100 ozs of water yesterday, which is MUCH better than the last 4 or 5 days. I have a couple of homegrown cucumbers from a friend. I added some thin slices to my lemon water. I'm shedding water like crazy.

9/05 141.7 ~ (Steps 21,612) ~ Yesterday was the first day since I’ve been back, my husband was working. I was able to get a lot accomplished, start organizing my kitchen, pictures and my freezer.

Mon - Wed decided to get some pool jogging in...Last night a scone some how ended up in my mouth, lol. It was super delicious though....

9/05 160 went over on calories yesterday and had a late dinner.
9/06 160 So often I feed the kiddos and get busy with household duties, put them to bed and realize I haven't eaten dinner (and then it's late). We used to all sit down and eat together, but since the new baby it's hard to do sometimes. Going to work on that. I always enjoyed sitting down as a family at dinner time. It'll also help that I'm not eating so late as well.
9/07 159 I was sooo happy to see this number this morning! Yesterday I did great with my water (90 oz/2.66 liters), I have been forgetting to drink it so haven't gotten as much as I should lately. Under on calories, only had half my daily sugar and around 90 carbs.
9/08 159.5 Good day yesterday but ate a little late last night. Today is game day, so there will be finger foods. Hopefully I'll stay in my calorie range.
9/09 159 I did eat finger foods yesterday for the game, but didn't over indulge. Actually was full after what I ate, even though it wasnt very much. 😊
9/10 158.5 😊 stayed under yesterday and was a very low carb/sugar day. I have been aiming to do some type of exercise each day (I don't count housework because I'm constantly doing it with 3 kids, 4 if you count Hubby 😂). Didn't get any exercise in and felt guilty about it, but I know I shouldn't because I have been almost every day.
9/11 158 Another good day staying under, although ate pasta for dinner. Haven't had pasta in a long time. Only had a serving but felt like I was retaining fluid last night, especially in my hands. Drank a lot of water last night so feeling better this morning!
9/12 158 yesterday was a little tough because I was hungry all day. Stayed under though and got through it.

9/5 Wednesday, 194.7. -0.4 from yesterday and -1.3 from R51. I will take it after poor choices made over a 4-day weekend to the beach. Yesterday was great. I stayed under my calorie budget and did not eat anything after 6:30. Today's goal is to stay under budget and 30 minutes of cardio at the gym.
9/6 Thursday, 193.5 (-1.2). I think it is mostly water since I drank a lot yesterday and I was really shedding it all day and night. I felt terrible last night and did not work out but I did stay way under calories. Plan is to go tonight while daughter is in ballet. Even if I just walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes, it will be something.
9/7 Friday, 192.5 (-1) Now if I can just keep this up through the weekend. Wins from yesterday-- 30 minutes on the elliptical and passed up brownies that looking diet busting worthy! I am volunteering for 5 hours tomorrow morning/ afternoon to help cast my daughter's school play. So, my plan is to eat a healthy breakfast and to pack some healthy snacks since I know there will be junk food around.
9/8 Saturday, 192.4 (-0.1) I’ll take it. Went out for ice cream with the kids last night and indulged in a small cup. Today was a long day but I stuck to my plan and burned a bunch of calories shampooing carpet in 4 rooms. Hope to hold this weight through the weekend.
9/9 Sunday, 192.8 (+0.4) Up a little but it’s the weekend and I’m still under 193. Practiced some self care today with a 90 minute massage. DH took care of dinner since mom was off today. That means dinner out. Stayed under budget for the day but feel like there was a lot of sodium and expect to be up tomorrow.
9/10 Monday, 192.4 (-.3) Back in the right direction. Need to readjust my goal for this round. I am going to go with a realistic goal of 191.9. That is only half a pound in 5 days and will get me to the 191.x mark which I haven;t seen in a while. Need to push the fluids today to get rid of this bloated feeling.
9/11 Tuesday, 192.4 No loss, no gain and I am OK with that. I will just keep working the plan.
9/12 Wednesday, 191.6 (-0.8) I was a little surprised by this number. I have been trying for so long to get back on track and have not been able to get things going. This daily accountability is exactly what I needed. Thank you all for being here ... you are all such good listeners

@tinkerbellang83 Just throw the crap out! Eliminate temptation by eliminating the junk. It took me 10 months to get rid of the breads in the freezer. They had been untouched in all that time. Gave a bunch of rice to keto daughter for her children who are not keto but are athletes. I still have some pasta but haven’t cooked any in over a year. I’ll make something to take to a potluck but won’t eat it. You can do this!!!

9/12 133.5 Felt really crummy yesterday. Missed DGD’s first volleyball game of the season. Sucked on zinc drops all day, scratchy throat, runny nose. No appetite. Finally asked DH to go to Jimmy John’s. #9 Unwich for me, #9 and Jimmy Chips for him. I ate 2 small chips and threw the 3rd one back. They just didn’t taste good. It’s amazing how your tastebuds change after avoiding all the crap for over a year! Sneezy and runny nose still today. UGH!8 -

9/05 - 145. Hanging steady, and I think I saw the needle nudging toward 144. Made time to be active yesterday and it felt so good! I picked up a midday snack yesterday that turned out to be 780 calories! It was printed right on the bag, but I didn't read it until after I ate. Oops. A light dinner and exercise helped balance the day.
9/06 - 144. Yes! Did a little fist pump when I saw a loss this morning. Today, I'm wearing a pair of pants that I bought during Round 47. I had to add a belt.
9/07 - 143.5. The scale was showing something lower than 144, so I'm calling it 143.5. Had to pick between exercise and sleep yesterday. I almost always prioritize everything else over sleep, but I picked sleep last night and got close to 8 hours. Based on how good I feel today, I'll be trying to prioritize sleep more often.
9/08 - 144. Up early for kid activities and then off to the state fair for the day.
9/09 - 145. Enjoyed an amazing grilled cheese sandwich at a restaurant near the fairgrounds late last night. It was soooo good and it comes with an outstanding tomato dipping soup. We go to that restaurant after the fair each year and I look forward to that sandwich more than I look forward to going to the fair!
9/10 - 144. Dealing with some late night snacking issues again that I need to reign in.
9/11 - 144. Solved late night eating problems last night be going to bed early last night. Looking forward to a healthy and delicious dinner tonight.
9/12 - 143.5. Yay, happy to see that again. Over 8 hours of sleep last night, which always seems to result in good things on the scale for me. In an old pair of pants today that I can finally get back into without looking like I'm stuffed in a sausage casing. 10 years ago, I bought these "fat pants" as a temporary measure to wear until I lost my pregnancy weight... Then proceeded to slowly outgrow them. Haha, now I'm happy to be back in my fat pants!

Round five for me. Sorry, I'm starting late but I'm back to work and things got a bit hectic as I was getting back into the routine of getting both myself and daughter ready in the mornings. However, I have been tracking my weight.

I feel onederland coming, so I am pushing for consistency, I want to see a more consistent downward trend this round. I am hoping for good things this month!
This is a long term thing, a few bad days or weeks is something I'm getting better at coping with.

9/08 — 135.4 — I feel a bit dehydrated today.. will work on water intake!
9/09 — 135.4 — So excited for football today, but I have 2 big tests tomorrow so I’ll be studying also. 🤪

9/06 - 278.1 Did ok, yesterday. Wasn't sure of my actual weight 278.? Hopefully see it go down tomorrow.

9/09 - 279.2 Well, I’m not upset about the gain. I know I’m retaining water. Had more intake than out yesterday. Trying to up my water. Been tough, but I know I can do it. I WILL UP MY WATER INTAKE! 😛

9/5 - 284 lbs Up and down last challenge. Hit my goal 4 days in then went camping for five days and totally blew it. I cannot stay on this roller coaster and use getting off my routine as an excuse for return to terrible eating habits. Working on that through these challenges. Good stuff to keep me accountable. I almost didn't want to post anything as I am so disappointed for letting myself get so far off track these past few days. Key word here (ALMOST) I will stay accountable and keep working on it.
9/6 -279 (-5lbs) Well here comes the fluid drop. Good start to recovery from last week. Staying away from night snacking. My bad time as is with a lot of us it seems. Drinking lots of fluid today. Hate plain water so I go with Zero everything flavored water. Not bad.
9/7- 278 (-1lbs) Late getting to post today butHeading in the right direction again. Staying strict on my extreme low carb to get that hunger monster back in check. Evening snacking is still a problem for me. Seems to get the munchies every night and have to really work at not going for that snack. I would like to see that problem ease up and go away.
9/8 275 (-3lbs) Ok just one pound away from my challenge go this round. Now to just keep the scale pointed in the right direction instead of up, down, up, down.......
9/9 274 (-1 lbs) Yeah Goal hit! Bittersweet as that was my last round goal which I attained and then broke, but I'll take it and hopefully now will continue to drop before the end of this challenge round. Once again during the next challenge round I will be away camping for four days. This time I am determined to NOT go crazy and off this protein diet. Hope you all are doing well this weekend on your challenge.
9/10 No Scale - Away from the house today. Still very much on track though throughout yesterday. Hopefully tommorw weigh in will show some good results. Still fighting the evening munchies. Tried some Bar-B-Que Pork sins last night. Not bad! No carbs but does have calories. Good if I'm going to have something.
9/11 274 (no change) Well my first mini plateau. I have been sticking to my routine and diet but the body has decided to take a break from losing for a few days. Now comes the time when I hold for a few days then the bigger drop comes of 2-2.5 lbs and then another holding period. Its just how my system deals with this. I expect to see a few more pounds drop before the end of this challenge. I have already hit my goal for this round so all is good for now. Probably need to start exercising again. That usually gets things moving along. I have to be careful because I tend to over do things and wind up either hurting myself or hating going to the gym. Easy does it.......
9/12 274 (No Change) Still on the plateau. Probably didn't help any by eating all those peanuts after dinner. Was not able to get online to post today until late this evening. Busy day at work and which helped since I had nothing but a protein bar all day. Dinner was light with Eggs and bacon so we will se what tomorrow brings. Still some time left to drop a few more before this challenge ends on Friday. Going away for the weekend again so we shall see if I can stay away from all the bad stuff I did last week when we were camping. So hard to stay with it on those getaway trips. Hope tomorrow morning weigh in will be better.
