You totally can. I can't stand processed McDonald's eggs, and used to routinely get a sausage, egg, and biscuit without the egg. Or an Egg McMuffin without the egg.

OMG! I have to rescue you.

"sub round egg" = fresh cracked egg.

Sausage McMuffin (the one that comes without the egg and is usually substantially less expensive) *SUB bacon* = egg mcmuffin without the egg and without paying for the egg you won't get.

Ann: Oatmeal is just normal oatmeal with diced apples. Vanilla cone is really not a bad little bargain -- they officially go for 230 Cal in Canada... most serves are 250 to 300. And an extra large coffee to dunk your cone in  <and you probably only drink tea!!!>

Trust me, after 44 years veg, I'm good at veggie menu Tetris. For breakfast, two round eggs on the English muffin with cheese, plus the largest possible skim latte, is my best bet. Oatmeal is too little AM protein. It's easy to get veggies/fruit later in the day, although every meatatarian restaurant in the world wants to feed us veggie prople aaaallllllll the carbs. Traveling, breakfast tends to be eggy/cheesy as my best shot at protein, when traveling with committed meatatarians.

    Cone + oatmeal = 11-12g protein, 460 cal **

    My order = 37g protein, 520 cal **

(** appx - the McD nutrition calculator is a *baby-feline*)

Why, why why do these threads always devolve into food porn? <wrings hands>

Ha! I was gonna starve you with EITHER cone OR oatmeal! Not both!

You could also drop an egg in the oatmeal and junk the other toppings!

Over $4 in Canada... but under 250 Cal if you dump apples and sugar packet and just go for oatmeal with egg!

Mind you skim- watch the flavouring choice- latte probably has a good bunch of protein for Cal!

    Your Tetris is impressive!

Just coffee and milk always (skim preferred when available). Not a fan of hot candy milkshakes.

OP - it sounds like your WF cake is a calorie-for-calorie bargain... My traditional 6" cakes I make are 8,624 calories total. Light and airy, melt in your mouth like heaven on your tongue.

Wow, if I ever have a big anniversary celebration, you are definitely making the cake!

Awe, shucks. Thank you. (Yes, have made lotsa celebratory cakes.)

I've never heard of birthday pie. Is it an American thing or just people adding 'birthday' to deserts? I hate pie by the way.

OP, if everyone hasn't scared you off...just read the labels more carefully next time. And if it doesn't have a label, then google close to it and go with the highest calorie count.
Honestly, I hope it was tasty treat for you
