Snow is VERY dehydrating.
@SwannySez 🤨
It's frozen water. How can that be dehydrating? Does physics work differently in your world? HAS EVERYONE GONE MAD??
The energy required to melt snow internally expends an amount of water that exceeds the amount you take in in the form of melted snow, tell him @cee1340 -

Look, my great grandfather, Dr. Josiah B. Swannysez was a famed scientist and I have a natural instinct for science, so I will be generous and say that there are smart people on both sides of this position.0 -

If it is cold enough for snow to be present, then it is cold enough for hypothermia. Since any volume of snow is mostly air, this means you’d need to eat about ten quarts of snow to yield one quart of water in your belly. Forget about brain freeze—this is core freeze! If you’re dehydrated in cold conditions with snow, find a way to liquefy the snow outside your body.1 -

My dad had a pair of boxers that said ‘jingle balls’ and i only know this because I accidentally found them when i was trying to steal some cash, so i never could confront him about his terrible dad joke undies.2 -
