Good article about times and foods to eat depending on your hour of training. I personally workout on the morning with previous light breakfast of oats and egg whites. Both help a lot in boosting your energy and endurance along with some BCAAs.0 -

Hey there, fellow middle age MPR-ers-
Turned 55 this year. While I’ve been on a weight reduction plan since the beginning of the year (down 70 pounds so far), I’m new to MFP. The app has allowed me to improve my eating habits as I attempt to lose the last 10 pounds, especially with eliminating late night snacking. I’m looking to add some friends to keep me focused as I get ready to shift from weight loss to weight maintenance. I’ve successfully lost weight in the past, but have less success maintaining my weight over an extended period of time. Let’s work with each other to meet our goals!5 -
45 Toronto area - Canada. Feel free to add me. Looking to inspire others and be inspired.2

Hey,
I turned to MFP after losing on my own too. It’s been really helpful. Good luck!3 -

Yay for Toronto where it seems winter has already arrived0 -
Hi all, new to using the community, back again to MFP following a TT and thyroid cancer. Have some weight to lose as a result. Hope to make friends who can help keep me accountable5

I'm 58 and probably now the oldest! Hey, I don't mind since I don't feel that age at all! Starting over after two years of lots of different surgeries (including left & right hip replacements!). Have a SUPER SUPPORTIVE hubby, and am being vigilant on MFP - logging everything. Doing deep breathing/yoga type stretching exercises, eating lower carb, and not eating after 7 p.m., which has always worked best for me in the past. Down 15 lbs since October 1st. Striving for another 50-60 lbs over the next 6-8 months. Love seeing all the inspiring stories, plus seeing that I'm not the only one who has had to start over! We all got this! Let's do it!10
