Soup! I totally wanted more food after dinner last night and even though I knew it was weigh-in day the next morning I was still toying around with the idea of making some rice and beans. But instead I decided to have a cup of the butternut squash soup I had made earlier in the day. And wouldn't you know, it totally satisfied my craving for something more but with way less calories. Finding healthier alternatives to foods you're trying to avoid is sometimes better than not eating at all - fruits instead of sweets etc. Somehow I'd forgotten that.1 -

I haven't been eating at night, but I have been eating a little more during the day because of holiday availability of food...I need to keep an eye on that.1 -

The last two nights I've snacked after dinner - which goes in the "lose" column. However, it wasn't full-blown eat-everything-I-can-get-my-hands-on snacking so that goes in the "win" column.2 -

I’m back!
No idea what my streak is, but aside from vacation where the time zones really made my eating schedule wonky (6 hours ahead), I like to think I did well with LNS... will start fresh tonight regardless:

I feel huge (Thanksgiving pressure, I think) but both doctors told me I lost this week. Odd, how psychological pressure works. I will be eating on Thanksgiving without guilt (it's one of three feast days I give myself every year), but the lead up seems to be stressing me out.0 -

Oh, yes, you can! We all sometimes can't and then "can" again Why do you think we are here?
I saw people here who had 0 on the LNS and wondered why they are still in the thread. Probably because if they weren't, they'd be slipping off again.
There are 2 approaches to this:
- be strict. Fix a goal (where you ideally want to be) and only give yourself points if you're there.
- be kind to yourself. Fix realistic goals and take it one step at a time. Give yourself points even at times when you do snack, but replace the icecream by fruit and the pizza by a peanut toast (and just one).
If you're not back by yourself, I'm going to private message you until I see you back here!1 -
Had dinner late and even some sort of "desert", but did not stuff myself. I will reward my self control:

as long as I will get better! (if I'll do the same as last night again, I'll make it even by giving LNS the point!)2 -
