I'm a skim latte lover. Typical me/barista conversation:
"I'd like a large skim latte, please."
"What flavor?"
"Coffee. And skim milk."
Some places (automated machines) don't even make them that way. WTFlip?workinonit1956 wrote: »I get my lattes with nonfat milk, I can’t tell the difference once the milk is steamed and frothed.
Love my grande nonfat blonde latteFireOpalCO wrote: »I don't care for mega-sweetened hot coffee drinks. It's like a hot milkshake: Why?
Because milkshakes are awesome!
Most of the time I want a standard hot non-fat latte or cappuccino. But every once in a while having a mocha is delicious decadence. Especially around Christmas when I can get a salted caramel mocha or peppermint mocha. It's hot chocolate with a hit of espresso.
I don't even like coffee. No amount of milk, cream, or fancy sugar syrups will change that
Every now & then I'll drink a fancy iced coffee drink since it's more like a dessert, but the one time I got a PSL I felt like a cat lapping at milk. It was disgusting! Hot coffee is not for me. I'd rather drink diet soda for my caffeine.
Coffee in ice cream is awesome.
Seriously? This time of year and you don't know what a PSL is?
I will put you out of your misery @quiksylver296 . They're pumpkin spice lattes.
Dammitt. Where's the fun in that?5 -

I am so glad I'm not trying to gain or have problems reaching my cal goal because the first thing recommended is usually PB, and I would be seriously gagging.
I bet my woo count is going to go up now
Cheers, h.
Finally...someone who understands my hatred of peanut butter!!1 -

Well yea, if you drink the crappy stuff. Good Scotch isn't that bad. Now Malort, that is a whole different story.1 -
I love cold pizza, cold fried chicken and cold fried rice. If those left overs are in the fridge, it's a good bet that I'll eat a serving for breakfast.
No matter how it's dressed up, plain Greek yogurt is disgusting. It's way too tart and tastes like bad quality sour cream.
Good quality sour cream is delicious, and I can eat it by the spoonful.
Most butter is overrated. I stopped using it for anything unless absolutely necessary to the recipe - until I discovered Kerrygold. That stuff is so yummy that I just want to slather it all over warm bread every day (I don't, of course).
Lettuce/Greens-based salads are overrated even when chocked full of protein and fat.
Breakfast cereal is yummy but only as a snack, because it just doesn't have good enough macros to be a meal.
Milk-based espresso drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) aren't worth the calories, even if skim/alternative milk is used.
Ice cream is the best dessert. Ice cream>Cookies>Cake>Pie
Bread is life... especially freshly baked bread that's crusty on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside.
Steak should not be eaten with any kind of sauce. (don't think that one will be unpopular though)
Frank's RedHot is the best hot sauce.
Diet Dr. Pepper is the best soda. Black Cherry Fresca comes in second.
Some of those may not be all that unpopular... it's hard to say. Some of the stuff I like and thought was fairly normal has proven to be a bit of an oddity in the past (liking to drink milk while eating potato chips comes to mind).3 -
Most Thanksgiving food (with the exception of Turkey) tastes better from a can or a box. I hate homemade stuffing. Hate homemade cranberry sauce.2

I hate all seafood but really wished I didn't.
Also not a fan of spaghetti...4 -
Seafood is only masquerading as food. In reality it's a gag reflex waiting to happen.5

I love seafood and I sort of share this opinion. It tastes like it has dust on it. I have had it spicy a few times and that helps.1 -
I wish I liked seafood, but I just don’t.1

Gotcha.
Those are yucky! Pumpkin spice chai teas, however?!? MMmmmmHmmmm, YUM!4 -
Salmon and Avocado are the foods of people I both envy and despise. I want to be them, but I never will be and their food sucks.3

There are a lot of things I wish I liked that I just don't.
1. Tomatoes
2. Avocado
3. Onions
4. Fish
5. Cilantro
6. Brown rice
7. Seafood (other than shrimp, can't stand any of it)
8. Pears
9. Milk other than cow
10. Unsweetened tea
11. Coffee (mostly for the warmth and caffeine)
12. Spicy foods
I could keep going, but I won't bore you any longer.2 -
I don't like strongly flavored cheeses. Cheddar and Gouda are about as fancy as I get in the cheese world.6

People who have a half eaten bag of Doritos, a handful of gummi bears, and a half eaten bowl of chicken noddle soup on their desk at all times. The people who spend thirty minutes painstakingly preparing their instant oatmeal and then bring it to their 9:30 am meeting. That sort of thing. ugh!
If someone is paying such close attention to me at my office that they know how often and what I eat during the day not to mention how long it took me to prepare my oatmeal, I think they need to work a little harder and worry less about me. We have a huge cafeteria but I never eat there. I prefer to use my breaks and lunches to get stuff done.
One thing about work food - I don't think anyone should reheat fish in the microwave or deliberately burn popcorn (yes, I used to work with someone who did that). It smells up the office.5 -

My parents jammed onions into damn near everything they fed us when I was a kid, so my sister and I both have hated them our entire lives. It has definitely made life challenging...

Same for me! Liver with onions. Spaghetti with onions. Potatoes with onions.
I will literally go through my food spoon by spoon, bite by bite, discarding those little *kitten*.2 -
I hate cottage cheese.
I also hate raw onions, but don’t mind if they’re cooked.1 -

Yes! Pickled, fried, Roasted are all great but not raw.

A few more - kale never should have been upgraded from decorating the plate at Shoney's to something we actually eat
- I don't really like any seafood other than lobster and will tolerate tilapia if it's soaked in lemon juice
- Coffee is disappointing bc it smells so good but tastes so bad. If I want to drink something hot and sugary I'll drink hot chocolate
- I've always hated Ranch dressing
- I don't remember ever liking soda (my mom says I drank it when I was really little)
Yes to all of these1
