December 1 - 193 - up one pound from yesterday
December 2 -193 - glad that I didn't gain, I was pretty over-indulgent over the weekend.
December 3 -194 - kind of discouraged with the fluctuation. I had a good day, expected a loss.

@Birder165, Karen, I know! Its like those carbs romance us! They just taste so good! You have been doing so well, consistently dropping weight. The good thing is that your fluid retention doesn't hang on too long. Mine is a big tease. Lol, but I deal with it. I KNOW that I can't eat ANY grains. Once in a while, I give in and this past weekend was an anomaly. Thanks for the encouragement! I would love to exit this year at 175! If I'm diligent maybe I will.3

Subscribe to the thread. That's the little star icon. Then you can look at your bookmarks and see that there have been new posts, and you can update as needed. I use a text editor (Notepad) to keep the original version, then just copy/paste to the website on reporting day.2 -

I've taken a long break from actively trying to lose weight. My last weigh in was September 14th at 177.2. I've weighed myself maybe 3 times since then just to see and surprisingly I've been maintaining. I'm ready to start losing again. When I feel it getting overwhelming again, I'll just take another break. However I'm hoping this go round I make it all the way!

Well, we are all different. I think that I may retain fluid as well. I had a couple of very good days exercise and calorie wise and actually gained. Today I was down 2 pounds from yesterday. I realize that I didn't have any carbs for 2 days (not on purpose) and gained weight. Yesterday I did have carbs and the scale was down 2 lbs this morning. Maybe the fibre soaks up the water retention : - ) Who knows. I guess for me that I need to make sure to have some carbs everyday. And for you Tia you have to avoid them. Whatever works for our individual bodies right? I guess that I will have a piece of toast with my coffee this morning : - )2 -
