01/03 - Thursday - 177.4 - Man, its incredible how quickly things snowball! My holiday indulgences have done a number on my habits. I've got all these cravings and little desire to stick to my habits. I know this too shall pass but its currently an uphill battle. Fortunately this time, I know its not the beginning of the end, just another opportunity to hone my skills and habits and learn a little along the way. In past attempts, these stumbles were the end of my journey but not this time - its really a lifestlye change finally!!!

@shunggie, I use this 10 day challenge to track my weight fluctuations. I use my progress chart to record real weightloss. My weight is always going back and forth from fluid retention, I wait until it settles down to change my progress.7

Happy New Year one and all. Not posted on here for a long time so have decided to just reset and start the new year fresh (so being cheeky and posting my weights up from 1st Jan!)
Bit of weight has gone back on over the last few months (holidays, no kitchen due to building works, family things going on, then Christmas etc etc) - all excuses not reasons though ) so looking this round to get back into decent planned meals and to cut out the snacking, the "grab -and-go" meals and eating out (functional kitchen back up and running again). Expect a reasonable loss this round just by getting back to normal so no target set as such other than behavioural ones.
01/01 - 158.50lb new start weight - not pretty but have at least faced the scales Meals planned for the day
01/02 - 157.40lb (-1.1lb) one day of decent eating and drinking more water and feel better already as that bloated feeling starts to go. First day back at work today so have meals prepped and planned
01/03 - 153.90lb (-3.50lb) I love the way the weight falls off after a period of over-indulgence and then getting backing on track! I know it wont be this easy for long so will enjoy it while I can! Day out today with my girls who are still on school holidays (at the zoo so walked 13,000 steps) and was also back to the gym tonight....

I’ve been in maintenance for several months until the holidays, content at around 146. I am now OVER the point at which I didn’t want to be again (150), so I’ll be getting back on track to lose back down to at least around 146 or so. May try to go lower in the new year, but we will see. For the immediate future, I just want to get and stay back under 150.

Hello!! The day went well for the most part. 3 days on my new plan. No exercise today. Did strength yesterday--forgot to post that. Anyways just tired from work and hoping this plan is working. I was cold today and wanting to eat more. I swear stress does that. I think I am still under calories, however. The weight number is going down. Too soon to tell how much is water. It will have some holiday amount that will need to be worked at. I guess I will try this plan at least until the end of this round to see if it is working.7

Hello! Newbie/1st rounder. I'm 40yrs old and I'm literally the biggest I've ever been (including being pregnant). My goal is to lose 3-5lbs each round. Today I went to spin class and I'm day 3 of intermittent fasting which really suppressed my appetite. I'm focusing on drinking more water and CICO. Oh a looking for "pals" so feel free to friend me.

01/03- Started the weekend walking and tripped over the water shut off valve on the sidewalk, had a hard fall. Worked on stretching today. Lots of huge bruises, cuts, and sore muscles.

We can only edit our posts for an hour after posting on MFP.

What I do is write out my post, save it to a word document and then copy and paste it here with my update...or you can quote yourself and just add to the post..but that will take some searching for your last post. But yes, it is a new post every time2 -

I am loving the concept of this challenge! Since I weigh everyday I am going to give it a try! I do WW and I am in other challenges with MFP. 01/03 143.8 the woooosh train has arrived, mind you I had a ton of energy yesterday (which are the days I absolutley love😍😍) so ended up jogging over 3 miles, walking over 30,000 steps and pretty much worked out right up until bed. I drank 1.6 liters of water and was way under calories...but even if I had worked for this drop, I am still shocked it happened over night. Today although, has so far not been as good. Because of yestedays workout craze, I was sore as heck! My steps are over 10,000 but otherwise I haven't worked out..yet. Once I am finished posting, I am planning at least a 1.5 mile jog (indoor because of how cold and late it is) and hopefully another routine right after..maybe strength...maybe an additional cardio.. maybe both. I will see how I feel when I am done. 1 liter of water and hoping my little workout will bring me to a maintenance calories wise because so far, I am way over lol. We will see
