I am in! I am going to try again to lose 30 lbs I lost it once, but the sneaky sod found me again!!!!! 😳 so I could do with a kick up the proverbial! Some accountability might be just what I need!!18

I am re-starting this week. Need to lose 100 lbs......unbelievable, because I've dinit before. Can't believe I'm back to this weight but I am ready. How will this work? Are we going to form a group in the groups section?15

I am starting back up again this week. I'm not up to my highest weight ever thank god, but I have gained weight over the winter and holidays. I'd love to have some accountability for exercise and diet, and feedback. Just turning 50 this coming year -- hope that qualifies me!13

Count me in! I turned myself around about two years ago when I allowed myself to reach my highest weight ever. Lost 30 lbs over the course of 1 year and for the most part I’ve been able to keep it off...but plateaued last year, got frustrated, took a break and maintained for the last 6 months. Now it’s time to reach my next goal... 12lbs away.13

Awesome! Now we are rolling! I am on day 3. Trying to eat good and walk an hour a day! Going to weigh in every Friday morning!15

This is day 2 for me. I am trying simple calorie restriction at this point and going back to swimming which I have to ease back into because I am so out of practice. Frustrating. Off to the gym in an hour or two here this a.m. I need to drop 40 pounds to get to normal weight for my BMI.9

Hi there ! I'm not exactly starting anew - just moving on with what I found to work for me. I've lost the bulk of the weight I had wanted to lose (only took me over 4 years) and have been maintaining for several months now. I started food logging again - because I'm going to try losing another 10 or 20 pounds.
I have no problem being motivated to exercise. I like cardio and I'm looking forward to staying in shape - and improving my fitness in time for Spring hiking. Over the winter I sporadically run - when the weather's nice enough. I walk - I play Pokemon Go. And, I do the treadmill and elliptical.15 -
Heading to the park to walk for an hour!14

I was away from MFP for a long time. Had some bad life moments which translated to a big weight gain. Feel like I just woke up and got a look at the damage I caused myself. So.....put my Fitbit back on, joined a gym, started logging and, although only day 3.....I'm feeling better already! I'd love some company on this journey. I've friended you all, thanks for accepting. Let's do this!28

I'm in. Been back on MFP for about a month or so now. Lost 50 back in 2013-2014 then moved from Florida to Utah. The adjustment has been difficult (Man I hate the winters here!!). Started off by getting back in the habit of logging everything. Then added water to my list. Now I'm focusing on eating more veggies which will help keep me under my calorie goal. Soon I will start focusing on some exercise. Baby steps works for me as I continue to build on better habits and routines.16

I really like the idea of one step at a time. I tend to be kind of all or nothing, which isn't working well for the long haul. Thanks for the inspiration.13 -

I'm in. I'm 51 and lost 30 pounds last year, and then kinda lost interest. Kept up with my steps, scale didnt move, but lost additional inches. Ready to recommit for the next 30 pounds. Have been 'thinking' about getting back to the heavy lifting, so i now need to get back to the gym. Looking forward to killing 2019 with all of you!13

After reaching my heaviest weight in 2004 (age 40), I lost 50 lbs and kept it off for over 3 years. Since then I've gone up and down between 10 - 40 lbs and I'm ready to end this cycle. Just 2 years ago I was running 5k and 10k races, but my fitness and nutrition have gradually fallen off. I'd like to lose at least 40 lbs and then maintain. I'm working on being consistent with exercise and I started back logging food today after a hiatus of several months (been on and off MFP for years). My life is in a state of instability right now, so the extra support would be good. Thanks!14

Hope everyone has a successful Sunday. Most of my day will be spent in a car - taking my son back to college. It's a bit difficult to get any exercise in. So I guess I'll declare today a rest day. I do have control over my eating, though. So, I have healthy snacks prepared, and I'll stay on my eating plan. (and, hopefully get some reading in - I'm not driving, btw, my husband is - LOL!)6

I'm in. Up early getting the day started off with a little egg whites and guacamole...13

Count me in guys - Patricia in the UK.
After many failures I really have to sort out my weight issues - gave up smoking a year ago and gained even more weight so now it is time to eat clean and exercise more.
My first personal target is to lose a stone by valentines and 30 mins on the exercise bike every day.
Have a fantastic Sunday14 -
I am in. 55 and struggling with being consistent! Hormones, lack of motivation, and rain killing my progress! I too need HELP! 🤪😮
How do we do this together. Wanna meet here once a day - check-in and hold each other accountable. 😌🕴🏃♀️🍇🥑

Yes Please!! I started on Friday, January 4th. I need to lose 34 pounds. Tracking and sticking to the plan! The saying you are what you eat......is sooo true!
In 2016 I started to jog and did two 5K events and in 2017 I did seven 5K events. In 2018 new job and well you know how that goes. I did no 5K events in 2018 and no exercise.
2019 is my year to come back and take care of me with eating right and exercising! I went on my first jog yesterday for 4.25 miles......mostly walking. That's ok I'm working my way back up.
Let's do this together!

Saw another little dip in the scale this morning. That makes two for the week (I weigh every day and watch the fluctuations). Wednesday is official weigh in day for me so I plan on being super focused the next few days. Water was miserably low yesterday so I've got my water bottles all lined up and ready to go. Hope everyone makes it a great day!6
