I see a lot of people have asked how to join and what the rules etc are with really little or no response so I’ll give it a shot.

I believe you just jump in. List your challenge start weight, challenge end goal weight, and then pick one day of the week that will be your weigh in day and then come on here and post your weight for that day. You should be able to copy your previous weight info by hitting the word quote at the bottom of your prior post and then scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. You should then be able to delete the wording in the brackets and the add your current weigh in and post.

Sorry if it’s not explained very well but I think that’s the gist of it.

Good job! I wasnt sure either, I keep checking back to see if there is any structure or broken down in to teams, but I guess we just encourage each other. I hope... well any ways good luck.
I've been sick, hopefully this will pass soon. So I can really plan my meals. Just winging it now within my calories. But don't have the energy to tweak and plan. 😷🤧😃

Let's have a great week everyone! Weigh-in for me Mondays.

    Start Weight: 160 lbs
    Challenge Goal: 130 lbs
Challenge weigh in on 1/7 : 157.8 lbs

A positive thought for the week: I think it's going to be a great day! *song by Sean Morey funny
Healthy snack or meal: Apples! Keep doc away
Best workout this week: stretch yoga to calm the mind ^.^

Thanks. I think that’s how it works. No teams just a weekly accountability and hopefully encouragement by others.

Hope you feel better soon. You can do this...One day at a time!

First time poster, figured I would join in as this is exactly what I’m looking to do.

January 1st I wasn’t finished celebrating new year :D , so January 2nd weighed in at 92.7kg / 204lb. From there, a 30lb loss would take me to exactly my target of 79kg / 174lb.

Week 1 complete, January 8th weigh in was 91.3kg / 201lb. Not a great week diet wise, but better than any week in December that’s for sure!

I am wondering if members are willing to share methods they are using? I see so many experiences of success with the MFP 1200 limit versus a higher number around 1400-1500.

What do we do? I need to lose about 50 lbs but trying to be realistic as its only coming off in about 5 lbs at a time but going right back on.

Crochetmam.. I lost 70 lbs about two years ago. It saw more loss at first but after 6 months it was much slower. A lot depends on how much you have to lose and I believe how long you have been eating at a deficit. I’ve not been seriously trying in a while so I’m losing a little faster again. The first week is water weight for me..impressive but not the harder part! You can do this. Let this get you started and see how you do. Small goals are good. I think you are going to do better than you think!!

    1/5=195.2
    1/6=194.0
    1/7=193.9
    Week1 total= -4.1
    1/8=193.0
    1/9=192.9

I found a great website page, that helps calculate macros (ketokarma.com). This page is also very inspiring. That should be a great start. Then find a meal plan thats easy to follow. Don't complicate yourself. Make adjustments. That's what I'm doing.
