01/13 – 370.8 – 2nd day in a row up.
Unfortunately this weekend I have had eating out functions everyday. I have another one today and Pizza Tuesday. My plan for Tuesday is one piece of pizza, no appetizers and I will order a big salad if a salad is not ordered. I eat out a lot on weekends, so sodium is high. I will drink plenty of water next two days and I hope to be down again by Wed.
01/14 – 371 – I lost 2.8 pounds at WW today! Yay! Got in my 7000 steps yesterday. Was not a blue dot day. This week I am going to do better with the blue dot days M-F for sure starting today.

That takes grit, accountability and preparation.”— Author Unknown Round 64 - SW 373.4 EW 369 (-4.4)- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

I've gotten a "woo" in other rounds and I think it's just someone new who doesn't realize that mfp considers it a negative. I really believe they're cheering you on and impressed with your loss.6 -

Decided to enjoy the impromptu party night & am now working to get back on track. It was really fun & I actually have no regrets, amazingly. I was shocked to see the largest one day swing in my weight since I began 3+ years ago, however!!! Ever onwards!

HDL >50 1st time ever! Daily walking did it. All cholesterol & triglyceride labs are perfect. Low bp etc etc. parathyroid is the best it’s been, well in normal range!!! I track everything I eat Every Day.

01/13 282.6 and down a total of 11.4 pounds since Jan 1, have only eaten bad once in that time and I’m finding it easier everyday to follow my lifestyle plan. I’ve started to incorporate exercise as well so I’m hoping to really see some pounds fall off this week.
01/14 282.2 was so sick today. Ugh. I will swear to it that my humidifier made me ill but who knows. So, no exercise today and TONS of schoolwork. This semester is going to be hard especially since I’m going back to working full time. I just have to stay focused on that and losing weight. I know I can do this.

01/13:235.5. I ate 2100 calories. Today was a rest day from lifting weights, but I still walked for 60 minutes. Still struggling to get my daily calories into a lower range. When I first started dieting a few years ago, it was very easy for me to only eat 1500 calories per day. I’m not sure what happened to that mindset.
01/14: 235.5. I did much better with dieting today. 1600 calories. 40 minute workout and 60 minutes walking.
